Abstract: The calibration system is commonly used to test the meter accuracy. An intelligent and adaptive calibration software system is proposed as an upper computer application, which gathers, deals, and stores the signal data from the sensors, and analyzes the calibration result. Three main modules, i.e., PLC communication module, calibration module, and report module, are defined. The MEWTOCOL-COM communication proxy of Panasonic PLC is designed by using .NET SerialPort framework, and is used to transmit data between PC and hypogynous machine through serial communication. Based on the data processing, an enhanced static weighing method is used as a calibration algorithm to verify the flowmeter parameters, i.e., error rate, repeatability and so on. And the final report is generated by the adaptive report module. The results of experimental tests and actual running show that the system is highly efficient with low test cost and reliable performance.

Abstract: This paper deals with the global chaos synchronization of master-slave Froude pendulums coupled by linear state error feedback control. A master-slave synchronization scheme of the Froude pendulums under linear feedback control is presented. Based on this scheme, some sufficient criteria for global synchronization are proved and optimized. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the criteria obtained.

Abstract: Automated Planning is a very important branch of Artificial Intelligence, and one of the top competitions of Automated Planning is International Planning Competition, which is held by International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling. This paper gives the concepts about planning domains, and lists the sources of planning domains of IPC. Then from the aspects of application, the planning domains used in IPC are classified to three parts, theoretical research domains, application-oriented domains and comprehensive domains. And application-oriented domains are divided into five groups: robots-related domains, astronomy domains, engineering domains, games domains and network-related domains. Combining with the development of planning domains in 6 sessions of IPC, potential trends of the development of planning domains are explored.

Abstract: This paper presents a genetic algorithm (GA)-based approach for localizing damage in plate-like structure. Diagnostic Lamb wave is excited into structure before and after damage to obtain scattered wave that contain characteristic information of the damage. After the time-of-flight (ToF) of the scattered wave in each actuator-sensor path is measured by continuous wavelet transform (CWT), a GA optimization procedure is developed to adaptively identify the location of damage without knowing the material properties a priori. It is achieved by minimizing the difference between the measured and calculated ToF of the scattered Lamb wave. Experimental study for an aluminium plate is conducted to validate the proposed damage localization approach.

Abstract: In the multi-core CPU cluster parallel environment, use MPI+OpenMP hybrid parallel algorithm to optimize the numerical simulation program of two-dimension compressible flow field. Test the program which has been optimized, and compared to the program which has been optimized only by the MPI algorithm, get the conclusion that the MPI+OpenMP hybrid algorithm will have advantages in some conditions, and do some specific research on the application of hybrid algorithm used in the flow field simulation, illustrate in what conditions the MPI+OpenMP hybrid will have advantages.

Abstract: Using compute Unified device architecture (CUDA), a traditional computational fluid dynamics (CFD) program is paralleled and optimized based on graphic processing unit (GPU). The calculation process is divided into two parts as serial and parallel. Their main characteristics are analyzed and different optimization schemes are given. CPU (central processing unit) and GPU work respectively as flow control and high-speed parallel computation. Bandwidth between devices is applied effectively. Data transfer between devices is moderately improved to simplify algorithm. Finally, the method is verified by simulating a three-dimensional isotropic homogeneous turbulence flow field. The calculation uses large eddy simulation (LES) method with secondary filter and solves the three-dimensional N-S equations. The maximum grid number achieves 8,000,000 and takes 33 seconds each step. All calculations are using ordinary single desktop computer, optimized acceleration ratio can reach 9.

Abstract: The conceptual design model for mechanical product and its computer aided design are the important and focus problems. A mechanical product design process of FPBS model, function-principle-behavior-structure model, was put forward and discussed. The semantic relationships between the elements of FPBS model were studied to make foundation for the application of FPBS model. The operational demand of knowledge system for FPBS model was analyzed, and indicates the ontology can be applied effectively to knowledge system operation of FPBS model. Then, an ontology based FPBS model was established and a FPBS ontology model system was constructed. The experimental results indicate the model can be used in computer aided conceptual design for mechanical product effectively.

Abstract: As an important tool to study practical problems of biology, engineering and image processing, the cellular neural networks (CNNs) has caused more and more attention. Some interesting results about the existence of solution for cellular neural networks have been obtained. In this paper, by means of iterative analysis, the existence of periodic solution and the uniform stability of the equilibrium point of impulsive Hopfield cellular neural networks with distributed delays are considered. Some new results are obtained.

Abstract: The determination of side-core for plastic moldings plays an important part in design process. Numerous studies have been investigated for side-cores recognition in literature. However, most of the existing methods have been developed based on the side-core surfaces of one region are known. In fact, it is difficult to identify relevant surfaces of one region. This study proposes a new algorithm of relevant surface attribution (RSA) based on topological relationship and V-map to automatically identify relevant surfaces of a side-core region. Then, the proposed approach defines the shape of side-core region as bounding surfaces and side-core direction. Finally, case studies are used demonstrating the applicability and usage of proposed approach.

Abstract: The thermodynamic parameters and boundary conditions is one of the important factors affecting the simulation precision of concrete temperature control, and through the test way obtaining these parameters demands high cost, and often works with practical mismatch. This paper introduces the simulated annealing method, analyse and improve the simulated annealing method . The results show that, the improved of simulated annealing algorithm can be used for the study of concrete temperature field inverse.
