Abstract: Strengthing the material management and controlling materials consumption as one of the most important means to control engineering cost, play a decisive impact on the profit and loss of construction enterprises. Factors affect materials management are complex, so that combined with conventional methods can not effectively improve the efficiency of material management. Introducing the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) in construction project material management for this issue to calculate and analysis the specific gravity of the content that in construction project material management,and find out the main management contents, so as to improve the efficiency of material management.

Abstract: Worldwide food security and water safety issues necessitate countries with low water use efficiency of crop production (CWUE) to increase it and reduce regional CWUE variations. CWUE function was estimated with stochastic frontier analysis, and CWUE variation was decomposed on inter-continental, intra-continental and international level with variance decomposition method. It is proposed that in order to efficiently improve the CWUE and reduce regional CWUE variation, countries with low CWUE should focus more on the factors listed from the decomposition. Scenario analysis proved the effect of improving the most important factor of CWUE variation, and showed some new key factors in the future after we realize the improvement as mentioned in the scenarios. Lastly we put forward some specific suggestions on the way to improve the CWUE.

Abstract: With rapid development of tourism industry in China, more and more literature study on tourist impacts attracts scholars’ research interests, especially tourist impacts on destinations. Tourism impacts mainly include four aspects, which are economy, culture, society, and environment. In China, it refers mainly to the former three fields. This article describes the positive and negative impacts of these three fields in China.

Abstract: Wenchuan earthquake of May 12, 2008 in Sichuan province is most destructive, the most widely spread, the most difficultly to disaster relief in recent decades in China. The earthquake relief and reconstruction work is also the fastest, to mobilize the widest range of input power in an action, creating a miracle of the world's earthquake relief and reconstruction. Those successful practices provided a valuable experience reference to other areas for fight against natural disasters and rebuild their homes. This article describes the damage of housing, roads, bridges and other engineering structures and landslides mudslides, dammed lakes and other geological hazards triggered by earthquakes; Outlines the effort of the rescue operation, including personnel search and rescue, road rehabilitation, caring for the wounded, people placement and soon; Summarizes the reconstruction strategies and policies, including with Chinese characteristics” counterpart support” reconstruction mode which means a province to help a county. In the end, the article discusses the earthquake relief and reconstruction experience and inspiration.

Abstract: Highway landslide disaster is the main type of geological hazard in China, which causes great economic loss and casualty. According to the engineering experience, discrimination and criterion of highway landslide disaster is put forward in this paper on the basis of laws and types of highway landslide disaster, which includes nine big macroscopic discriminant criterion and five big microscopic discriminant criterion. On the basis of development process and stage, the development of landslide disaster is divided into three stages according to the practical needs: early embryonic stage, medium potential stage, late induced phase. To regional discriminant criterion of highway landslide disaster as the foundation, this paper presents the discriminant criterion of development for highway landslide disaster. It is hoped that the findings herein will provide science direction for temporal discriminant of highway landslide disaster.

Abstract: In mining engineering construction, more and more involved in deep soft rock roadway stability control problem, also encountered deep soft rock underground engineering intersection problem, but its classification and support measures are far from perfect and systematic. This paper begins with a brief deep soft rock mine intersection classification, then summarize the deformation and failure characteristics, analysis of the impact factors and the reasons of its destruction, for roadway intersection supporting method is recommended.

Abstract: Rapid urban development and dramatic change of landscape have been recently witnessed in the developing city Haikou in China as a result of rapid economic development. In this paper, Dinamica which was a spatially explicit simulation model of landscape dynamics were used to simulate the evolution of Haikou during the period of 1989 to 2012.They are expanding from exist city cell, around the city center, along the transportation line, and rural resident spot. According to the spatial occupation reality of Haikouin 1996 and 2008, the simulation accuracy is greater than 82% . Dinamica model is considere d a useful tool for urbanization research. And we found that residential land development tools such as the Public Residential City Development (PRCD) and the Housing Construction Facilitating Support (HCFS) in Haikou are working to prevent sprawl or facilitate it.

Abstract: In order to choose the optimal construction scheme in the coal mine construction project, this paper establishes evaluation indexes and applies entropy weight method to determine the objective weight of evaluation index based on the expert scoring so that the evaluation results are more consistent with the actual situation. This method solves the drawbacks that the evaluation indexes depend on the subjective assumptions too much and provide an effective method for choosing the optimal bid scheme of the coal mine construction.

Abstract: It discussed green construction practice in residential real estate development projects in China, analyzed problems met on the implementation of green construction in residential real estate development, on this basis several suggestions on how to promote green construction in residential real estate development were proposed. Policy support and government supervision play the role of lead, promotion and enforcement in the process of green construction in residential real estate development. Green construction plays an important role in promoting sustainable development of residential real estate development and construction industry.
