Abstract: Virtual reality technology is a hot research topic in computer science and the introduction of virtual roaming to the field of urban planning provides a new means for urban design. This paper first analyzes the development, features and technology of virtual reality technology and the virtual city roaming and its applications and advantages in urban planning with focus on how to implement a virtual city roaming system by means of the scene development software Vega and finally concludes the importance of virtual city roaming in urban planning.

Abstract: According to the highly dependent on breeding characteristics of the aquatic products, this paper builds an intelligent aerobic expert system which combines two kinds of artificial intelligence technique, case based reasoning (CBR) and rule based reasoning (RBR). After retrocede the collection data, firstly, the case base is retrieved to find the similar solutions. Only when the solution cases can not be obtained from the case base or the case solutions are not satisfactory, is the RBR system used to solve problem and then the reasoning result is stored in the case base for future use. The intelligent aerobic expert system can real-time monitor water oxygen, and startup or shutdown the aerator, monitor the large factory farmed.

Abstract: The right panel drawing direction is an important prerequisite for generating qualified parts, an important step before the panel forming simulation is to determine the reasonable direction of the drawing. Manually adjust parts in order to overcome rely on experience, the drawbacks to the drawing direction, the direction of the drawing punch and forming the contact area of the sheet as the goal of Computer Control determination Shortest Path Method. Objective function of the direction of the drawing for the variable contact area in the drawing direction of the feasible region, the use of heritage Shortest Path Methods to optimize the objective function of the contact area and, ultimately feasible within the contact area corresponding to the drawing direction, that is the best drawing direction. The measured results show that the direction of the drawing based on genetic Shortest Path Method, the Computer Control Shortest Path Method can fast and accurate to obtain the optimal direction of drawing.

Abstract: Most of people have the habit of not cutting off power when equipment is shut down. This wastes a large amount of power. In view of this situation, an intelligent socket is proposed, which can produce operating states of electrical equipment through human-machine interaction and memorize these states in its non-volatile memory. With the number of use increasing, the socket can store more and more the running states of appliances and become more and more intelligent, which can make it cut off the power when appliances stop running and save a lot of power. This paper discusses the basic architecture of this kind of socket, abstracts two-tuple status model memorizing the running states of appliances, and designs the control algorithm based on the status model which can produce new running states or adjust old running states and yield instructions to power on or power off the socket.

Abstract: This paper explores an unrelated parallel-machine resource allocation scheduling problem with controllable processing time. The objective is to minimize the cost function containing the weighted of total load, total completion time, total absolute deviation of completion time, and total compression cost. We show that the proposed problem is polynomial time solvable. We also discuss a special case of the problem and show that it can be optimally solved by lower order algorithm.

Abstract: The entropy shows the fuzzy degree of a fuzzy set (FS) and can be used in various areas. Aiming at the characteristics of the fuzzy entropy and type-2 fuzzy sets (IT2 FSs), we introduce a new entropy of IT2 FSs in this paper. At first, we select an axiomatic definition for it. Then, considering a fact that the operations of IT2 FSs depend on the upper membership functions (UMFs) and lower membership functions (LMFs), we propose a calculation formula and verify it accords with the four axioms of the selected definition. Finally, we use an example to illuminate its reasonable performance.

Abstract: The paper presents a kind of application system combining fuzzy control technology and ultrasonic obstacle avoidance technology for the intelligent wheelchair (iwheelchair). The system use the ultrasonic measured-distance as the input signal and the output signal is the speed of the iwheelchair to avoid obstacle. The fuzzy controller is designed in Matlab platform and simulated according to the obtained fuzzy control strategy. The fuzzy control technology has been applied successfully in ultrasound obstacle avoidance system for the intelligent wheelchair.

Abstract: Nowadays, there are too much data residing in various automation islands independently installed in utilities in the past few years. So utilities are facing two problems: (1) how to integrate these islands and transform these data into meaningful information; (2) how to manage evolution of the integration. The entire integration cant be done in one implementation and hence the integration should have a long term evolution (LTE) plan. And now the industry consensus is that we have to use CIM to facilitate all these integrations. How to deal with this evolution is the most challenging issue. The utility should have plug-in monitoring, control, management and services of their new needs using smart grid standard s of IEC SG3. These standards include IEC 61970/61968 CIM and IEC 61850 which could ensure seamless information exchange. This means that legacy CIM version will be updated to a new version of this evolution, and the changes will be continuing within the integration evolutions. The approach is that we provide a LTE framework for the utility and use Common Source Modeling to customize their 61970/61968 CIM model in identified integration scope. A CIM version manager will deal with different CIM versions for information exchange under the latest CIM version. Some MDA (Model Driven Architecture) based tools will provide code generators to make this updating smoothly and automatically when utility business is changing with new or smart grids requirements.

Abstract: Temporal Expressions are important structures in natural language. Temporal information is useful in many NLP applications, such as information extraction, question answering and summarization. In this paper, we present an approach for extracting temporal expressions from Chinese texts. Using LEX parser, defining grammar rules of temporal expressions as LEX source program through the cooperation of LEX and C compiler, get the temporal expressions from unprocessed Chinese corpus. Our experiments demonstrate that on the TempEval 2010 Chinese corpus this approach is valid with the F1-measure values of 93.97%.

Abstract: The problem of adaptive control design of ship autopilot with rudder dynamics is studied. The model is described by a third order nonlinear model for parametric uncertainties. An adaptive neural network (NN ) control algorithm based on dynamic surface control (DSC) is developed. With only one learning parameter and reduced computation load, the proposed algorithm can avoid both problem of explosion of complexity in the conventional backstepping method and singularity problem. In addition, the boundedness stability of the closed-loop system is guaranteed and tracking error can be made arbitrary small. The effectiveness of the presented autopilot has been demonstrated in the simulation.
