Function Design of Coal Cutting Machinery Based on Variant Design
Variety Design could not only shorten development time and cost, but also response market rapidly, which was a kind of modern design theory applied on mass customization. From the requirements analysis of coal cutting machinery, general function of coal cutting machinery was described by methods of black box, and the general function was decomposed by three-subsystem modular block, then the function structure diagram was built up. Function design of coal cutting machinery laid a foundation for the variety design of products and the process offer use for reference to variety design of other existing mechanical products with compound function in applying technique innovation method to realize technique innovation and solving engineering problem.
