Abstract: This paper presents an adaptive backstepping controller aimed at improving the handling properties of tractor-airplane system on deck. Considering the inertial force of tractor-airplane system produced by coupled roll-pitch-heave motion of ship, a 3-DOF tractor-airplane system model on deck was developed. A stability control algorithm using adaptive backstepping approach based on tuning function is designed to utilize the tractor rear wheel steering as control input. The steering controller keep the behavior of tractor-airplane system on deck tracks the ideal model on the ground and suppress the uncertainties of vehicle parameters. Computer simulations are presented to demonstrate the desired tracking performance of the proposed control approach.

Abstract: By comparing the limitation of traditional test rig for electro-hydraulic servo valve and the advantages of CAT test rig for electro-hydraulic servo valve, this paper demonstrates an overall CAT test rig design including hydraulic system design and test software design. This work applies virtual instrument technology based on LabVIEW and adopts OPC standard to realize real-time communication between computer and PLC. Eventually as a case study, a test example of a well-functional servo valve is presented to show the validity and accuracy of the test rig.

Abstract: The thesis built the simulation model of automobile variable transmission driving efficiency, and calculated the transmission efficiency by using the MASTA software under different conditions. The simulation results showed that the reverse transmission efficiency is the lowest. With gears forward 1 ~ 4, its transmission efficiency increased gradually, while the fifth gear is overdrive, therefore its transmission efficiency is lower than the fourth direct file. The transmission efficiency of the same gear increases and then decreases with the increase of the torque input. While the range of the transmission efficiency between different speed increases along with the increase of the torque. With the increase of the rotational speed of the gearbox, the transmission efficiency increase gradually, but the increase amplitude reduces gradually. The great method provides some reference for the study of the transmission efficiency.

Abstract: This paper introduces the design of a warehouse temperature and humidity monitoring system based on a STC89C51 microcontroller. Compared with the traditional method, this system has the advantages of accuracy, sensitivity, short time and intuitiveness, and reduces the workload of the technicians and the cost of warehouse supervision. The greenhouse control system based on a microcontroller and digital temperature and humidity sensors can realize the automatic measurement and adjustment of temperature and humidity inside the greenhouse, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of operators, makes the greenhouse reach a more advanced management level, and is a low-cost, easy-to-use and accurate temperature and humidity measuring instrument, therefore it has a broad application prospect.

Abstract: Vertical structure of resonant cavity light-emitting diode (RCLED) is presented in this paper to further improve the photoelectric performance of the device. Modeling and 2D simulation have been proceeded with Crosslight APSYS[, the analysis and modeling software for semiconductor devices. Main results of the simulation are listed and discussed. The peak wavelength locates at about 550 nm with half-wave width of about 10 nm and its output power has been enhanced by 25% than the conventional one. The results prove that vertical RCLED is a considerable source for POF-based fiber communication.

Abstract: Based on the need to develop and test the products, a single phase DSP­based programmable AC power supply is designed. The power supply is capable of providing a stable AC voltage with adjustable amplitude and frequency over a wide range. Moreover, it can generate various high quality and low frequency arbitrary waveforms. Because of the advantages above, it will have great value in practice and a promising future in testing field. The main circuit of the power supply is to use rectifier and filter to make 220V AC voltage become steady DC voltage firstly. Then the inverter and the LC LPF are employed to produce the AC voltage which is required in the test system. The key part of the inverter is phase shift full bridge.

Abstract: This document presents an application of a PID (proportional, integral and derivative) controller designed by the pole placement technique and applied to a Maglev (Magnetic Levitation) train system plant. The linearization with Taylor Series is demonstrated including the development of the formulas to calculate the parameters of the controllers to three operation points and the performance of each controller is tested under disturbances, and switching controllers between the plants for different operating conditions.

Abstract: A hybrid system scheme was designed for the sweeper truck, to solve the problems of high fuel consumption and poor emission performance of traditional sweeper. The control strategy was determined for the hybrid power system. The simulation model of hybrid sweeper truck was built with Matlab/Simulink, and off-line simulation was completed to verify the power system scheme and control strategy, the simulation results indicate that the hybrid sweep truck can realize functions of sweeper and improve the fuel economy.
