Abstract: A fiber ring is very commonly used to generate stimulated Brillouin scatterings(SBS), especially by using fiber ring resonator. In this paper we theoretically analyzed some parameters of our interest in a coupled fiber ring resonator. We firstly analyzed a directional coupler, determined the optical power distribution among the four ports of the coupler. Then theoretically analyzed the transmission function of a coupled fiber ring resonator, followed by the simulation of the analysis. The simulation results show that the smaller the coupling coefficient is, the better the cavity finesse and extinction ration are, the lower the SBS threshold is, which is of great importance when it comes to the generation of SBS.

Abstract: Mole cricket is one of soil animals. By studying the toe body, toe angle and toe surface morphology of the mole cricket mining claw, taking example by the size of commonly used triangular sawtooth, five L-type stubble-cleaning blades with different tooth throat angle were bionic designed. The result is shown that the blade with –22.5° tooth throat angle is the optimal by simulating using solidworks software.

Abstract: The radial electrodynamic magnetic bearings were optimized with the method of orthogonal testing optimization design . In the period of designing the test , the maximum stiffness of the radial electrodynamic magnetic bearings was selected as performance target, the three main factor , inductance, rotate speed, magnetic flux density were also selected as the independent variables, meanwhile validated the relevant damping factor in each test. An optimal solution for the radial electrodynamic magnetic bearings was gained with the range analysis about the result of each test.

Abstract: This paper investigates the aerodynamic forces of several plunging wing models by means of computational fluid dynamics. A finite volume method was used to solve the two-dimensional unsteady incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. The forces and power efficiency have been calculated and compared between sets of different models. Current work found that the nonsymmetrical moving can enhance the lift and thrust forces. The numerical results also prove that the flexible wing model can be use to improve the efficiency and reduce the input. Additionally, a new conceptual model for flapping wing mechanism with active deformation and adaptive nonsymmetrical driving motion is proposed base on the numerical results.

Abstract: In order to reduce the resource waste and environmental pollution, this article applied product whole life cycle theory to product design, analyzed the product design was affected by three factors from the point of view in whole life cycle theory ,and put forward five key design elements of whole life cycle design based on the three factors. In short, the paper has practical reference value for the development and perfection of the whole life cycle design.

Abstract: Taking basic element model as a breakthrough perspective for Conceptual Design, ways to merge Extenics into industrial design are studied. A clear conception method was proposed in terms of divergent thinking-guided methods, constructed by three points, Special features, Special magnitude, and Special rules. The multifunction chairs were used to illustrate the Special rules application. This paper describes a new perspective for the analysis of the creative ideas. Formalized model, different from the past art theory researching, it was verified the effectiveness, practicality and innovativeness. Keywords: Conceptual Design;basic-element model;Special features; Special magnitude;Special rules

Abstract: In view of sofa product’s features such as demand of great types and inefficient design, the paper presents a method of parametric design on the simple sofa based on RhinoScript. With analysis of simple sofa’s modeling characteristics, the model of simple sofa could be presented by different parameters. Then models of different sizes and appearance styles could be created easily and quickly by inputting different parameters. This method improves the design efficiency and avoids industrial designers’ repeat work. The design process of a kind of simple sofa testified the method and a series of sofa proposals were easily generated.

Abstract: The article discussed the design of the application framework of the finite element based on design patterns. The design patterns had been used to design the hierarchical architecture of finite element method, the construction of objects, the management of arithmetic, and the facade of the framework in design stage. At last we can get an application framework of the finite element with the flexibility and reusability.

Abstract: There is a widely accepted concept that sentimental people are much more than rational people. People usually make their purchasing choices by visual perceptions. In this study, we want to gain the main visual perceptions of materials in some special furnitures in the early phases in user experience design. We used Ethnography and self-reporting to study. We discovered that the main visual perceptions of materials in furniture user experience design of the target users in the near future of the next 1-2 years are comfortable, emotional, and simple. We proposed three basic solutions of emotional user experience design, which were based on context and scenarios. The actual demand of the target users could be more easily understood by designers, and more visual solutions could be used by designers.
