Abstract: The design of future will still be the most confusing and puzzling issue and misgivings that arouse worry and leading to the spirit of adventures to make progress and arrive at the ways of reviving, creativity and modernism. The idea of prevailing of a certain culture or certain product in design depends on the given and available techniques, due to the fact that the computer and their artistic techniques become very important and vital to reinforce the image in the design. Thus, it is very necessary to link between these techniques and suitable way to reform the mentality by which the design will be reformed, from what has been said, (there has no utilization for the whole modern and available graphic techniques in the design processes for developing the creativity in design).

Abstract: The rapid progress of industry technology puts much higher requirement on product reliability, and it is imperative to introduce and apply advanced technology to test product reliability. In this paper, Multiple Environment Over Stress Testing (MEOST) is discussed briefly, including its implementing principles, preparation tasks and procedures, and its advantages are also analyzed.

Abstract: A mathematical model for the Double-crystal Piezoelectric Cantilever Generating Unit (DPCGU) was built and a new Piezoelectric Generator Based on Stairs (PGBS) with DPCGU was designed in this paper, the energy conversion efficiency of the PGBS which makes use of human kinetic energy was improved and the deficiencies of existing piezoelectric energy harvesting technology were avoided. The experiment of the generating capacity for the PGBS was carried out, and the consistency of the mathematical model results and the experimental results was verified by comparison.

Abstract: With the rapid development of global economy, sustainable problems have aroused widespread concern by all countries in the world. The high level sustainable innovation methods are needed to solve sustainable problems effectively. Extraction process of sustainable design criteria based on patent knowledge mining is proposed, and the process model of for sustainable innovation is formed. Finally, the buckle ring machine is taken as an example to validate the effectiveness of the model.

Abstract: The article, started with the analysis of the development situation of product design based on traditional Chinese culture, has comprehensively described the connotation of culture and design, along with the relationship between culture and design, and has focused on the application of traditional culture in product design, including the relationship between Chinese element symbols and product form, as well as the link between traditional philosophy and product form. Finally, a conclusion is drawn from examples, which shows the inspiration point as well as the creative point in traditional cultural product design.

Abstract: In allusion to the current existing problems of automotive wire-harness design, which are no interaction between 2D design and 3D design, and disconnect between design level and simulation level, the advanced design methods are needed. In this paper, it puts forward a kind of automotive wire-harness design method based on CHS and PRO/E software. Then it details its design steps including schematic / layout / harness design, 3D interaction, data management, etc. Finally, it summarizes the advantages of this advanced design method.

Abstract: In the era of knowledge-based economy, the patent barriers are getting more and more serious for enterprise when they enter the market; the space for the development of their technology is getting smaller and smaller. Therefore systematical innovative methods are badly needed to guide the enterprises to design around patents and achieve better technology market without infringement on the basis of existing patents technology advantages. The process for designing around patents and innovative design was presented according to rules of patent infringement judgment and TRIZ methods. The injection mold is analyzed as a case study by above integrated process.

Abstract: Through an analysis on the background and the reason for the appearance of the unisex clothing design, this paper discusses the styles and the features of the unisex menswear design, and summarizes the multi-angle application of the unisex elements and the regular rules and trends of the development in the unisex menswear design, aiming to provide theoretical basis for the mens clothing design to develop in a wider and deeper direction.

Abstract: This paper proposes the problems of existing landscape design of urban residential district in the cold regions, and analyses the main reasons for the formation of these problems. Based on this, and according to analysis on the specific features of the ice and snow art in terms of residential landscape, this paper discusses strategies for the landscape design of urban residential district according to the regional culture context, environmental status and climate features. It is expected to provide useful reference for the improvement of the landscape design of urban residential district in the cold regions.

Abstract: This paper investigates spatial reconfigurable module and its metamorphosis which occurs from the reconfiguration of displacement units. The inherent decomposition for displacement units reveals the inherent reconfiguration principles for spatial topology extension. The type and structure of reconfiguration units dominate the potential reconfiguration ability and the available reconfiguration patterns. The reconfigurability analysis can be supported by group theory. The group is a non-empty set invested with a closed product operation and satisfies defined conditions, which are the associativity and the existence of identity element and of an inverse for any element. The set of rigid body motions or displacements denoted by {D} is endowed with 6D Lie group transformations, which acts a fundamental tool in the analysis of general properties of mechanisms. Based on unit construction principle and algebraic structure of the Lie group, self-rearrangement characteristics of spatial reconfiguration structure can be accounted as displacement set self-adaptation.
