Abstract: In order to ensure the project period, installation quality and economic benefit, Building Information Models (BIM) technology is introduced to solve construction safety problems of subway station project. The purpose of this paper is to propose a BIM framework focusing on the issues of practicability for real subway station projects. From aspects of BIM pipeline comprehensive and 4D construction simulation, contents and methods of BIM application and effect are studied. It has been found the project period can be decreased by 15 percent. However, comprehensive issues in terms of BIM effectiveness need to be further developed.

Abstract: The probable route sets in the network diagram were calculated by adjacency matrix method, and based on the assumption that activity becoming the key obeyed 0-1 distribution, a probable route matrix was established. A random variable matrix was structed by monte carlo simulation under condition of activity time independent distribution. A matrix algorithm model was built by isolating activity times impact on activity becoming the key for the first time. This model with a simple and optimal algorithm avoided the computation complexity of network planning time parameter, to evaluate project duration risk rapidly and statistical analyze the probability of activity becoming the key and the influence degree of activity time fluctuation impacting on project duration, providing theoretical and data support for decisions. Empirical research on a tunnel engineering project verified its practicability and feasibility, providing a new powerful tool for assessing project duration risk in the network diagram quickly.

Abstract: BIM technology developed in Europe and America has been more widely applied in the construction industry but in the construction industry in China is limited to some of the institute in carrying out large-scale applications. This paper analyzes the application of BIM technology in our current situation and obstacles to development, and based on BIM technology relationships with related parties, explain its application in our country development prospects.

Abstract: Pre-estimate of hydropower project investment risks is of much importance because of the huge economic loss caused by the negative effects of the risk factors. Components of cash flow of hydropower project investment and finance evaluation are presented to study the effect of investment risk variables on hydropower project based on the structure of hydropower project investment and benefits. The project investment risk and index are evaluated by the simulation technique, which provides a basis for scientific decision-making of the project.

Abstract: Construction project management covering various aspects such as planning, coordinating, directing, scheduling, monitoring and control. Pre-construction services are used in planning a construction project before the actual construction begins. However, various problems happened at the pre-construction planning stage. This paper present an overview of the major problems in pre-construction stage and look at the potential of using augmented reality technology to overcome those problems. It was found that, at the pre-construction stage, good planning can not be done by the project teams especially to engineers and contractors due to the lack of supporting data, particularly when it involves information relating to underground utilities such as telecommunications, gas, electricity, water and sewerage. There are several approaches that can been undertaken in pre-construction services, especially in making an informed decision. The potential technology is using Augmented Reality (AR)-based approach in pre-construction service. Augmented reality is the integration of digital information with the users environment in real-time. It was one of the tool that support the concept of cyber-physical systems (CPS). CPS is the integration systems between computational network and physical processes. Currently, there are many fields utilised the application of AR such as medical, militiry, vehicles, gaming and navigation. This paper presents the applications of an AR-based approach to medical and gaming industry and explore the potential of using AR in pre-construction. The finding shows that the AR is a potential decision support tool that will speed up the planning process of the project team in the pre-construction phase in real-time.

Abstract: Schedule control is the major issue in project management, and to predict the construction schedule effectively is important practically. The article mainly predicts the schedule of a project based on BP neural network. The result shows that the predicted value is more accurate than the value calculated by linear method.

Abstract: Due to the wide scope, many participants and long construction time of project, the risk of EPC general contracting is far greater than the common engineering contracting. So it needs objective, accurate and reasonable evaluation. Through the EPC contracting risk evaluation index and extension analysis and correlation functions, this study establish the Extension Element model which contributes to evaluate the risk of EPC contracting. On the other hand, this paper put forward objective and comprehensive risk evaluation results and the level of risk to assist decision makers.

Abstract: The selection of caculation method of the artificial man-days unit price of power construction projects is the focus and hotspot problem of the parties of power construction project and cost management departments. With domestic typical provinces, cities, and industry as the research object, this paper carried out case study and comprehensive analysis of three typical estimate methods of the basic principle, characteristics, application scope etc. The paper gives reference for the selection of estimate method of artificial man-days unit price of power construction project and this research conclusion to estimate method has strong pertinence and guidance.

Abstract: The general contractors and owners face more risk in the EPC contract. But the people are usually used in international projects, and it has been applied in Chinese, the use of engineering insurance risk transfer, so choose the right insurance coverage critical to the promotion of the EPC contract. This paper by engineering insurance insuring the two modes: We analysis with the owners insured mode and contractors insured mode, that the contractor insured model is more suitable for the EPC contract, control more effective risk, and eventually reach the owners and contractors a common profits.
