Abstract: The development of high-speed railway has been very fast, while there are still existing many problems to be further studied and discussed, especially the design of high-speed railway Train stops program. The research of classification of high-speed passenger railway nodes has a vital significance for forecast of high-speed railway passenger flow, passenger train operation plan, evaluation and optimization and so on, especially for highspeed railway stopping schedule .This paper analyzes the significance and methods of high-speed passenger railway nodes classification, and designs high-speed rail train line stops program based on the classification. Finally, analyzing the case on the basis of Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, a train stops program will be made bases on the classification of Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway passenger transport nodes to verify the feasibility of this study.

Abstract: To promote the demonstration and guidance effect of scenic highway with the project post evaluation, this paper studied the concept of harmony scenic highway and built a Scenic Highway harmony evaluation system which takes highway road area harmony, human road harmony and highway external environmental harmony as core indexes. Scenic highway harmony evaluation method based on interval approximation was adopted to post evaluate typical demonstration scenic highway in Hebei. The practicability of the scenic highway harmony evaluation method based on interval approximation was verified.

Abstract: Traditional methods for determining airline fleet composition could not reflect the impact of network effects on fleet composition. To solve this problem for airlines operating in the mode of Hub & Spoke network, the passenger mix problem was incorporated into the model of determining airline fleet composition. The purchasing number of aircrafts in each fleet type, the frequencies of each aircraft type flying on legs and the spilling number of passengers from each itinerary were treated as decision variables. The limitations including maximum flying frequencies on each leg, available flying time each fleet type can provide and maximum passengers spilled from each flight leg were considered as constraints. A model to minimize the fleet planning cost was constructed. The numerical example shows that the fleet planning cost derived from this proposed model is 46266381.64 Yuan and reduces by 3914969.70 Yuan compared to the result from the traditional leg-based model. In hence, this proposed model is effective and feasible.

Abstract: Transportation hub is the highly crowd gathering place, and escalatorwith the hub as the main carrier of passengers’ transferring, pitting and otheractivities, it can ensure efficient flow of pedestrians. In recent years, theutilization of escalators in the building and medium-sized transport hubimproved significantly. Its passenger capacity will directly affect theevacuation of pedestrian flow, and it is an important factor in the escalator.Based on the escalator passenger capacity study of the Hohhot Railway station ,by analyzing the relationships among speed ,density and flow of the pedestrianwho are carried by escalator within the hub in the peak travel period, wecalculate with the actual carrying capacity of the escalator to arrive at anescalator utilization within the hub. And according to the level of utilizationwe submit reasonable proposals to achieve the purpose of improving the hub.

Abstract: The commercial pedestrian street, which serves as an important part of the city sidewalks, is famous for combining commerce and entertainment. Based on the presence of two typical commercial pedestrian streets in Xi’an city, the research makes a study on the commercial pedestrian street by quantitative analysis. The essential data derives from the questionnaire surveys on the presence of cross-section, characteristics of pedestrian, obstacles, presence of related facilities in the commercial pedestrian streets, and some other factors. Then through SPSS software, the main factors are selected from the data. With the help of previous work, the research proposes the regression model of evaluating the level of service (LOS) of streets. Finally, this research uses the model to finish evaluating the level of service of a commercial pedestrian street Luomashi in Xi’an, which shows that the model has performed well during the process.

Abstract: According to the characteristics of high-speed liners, the multi-objective scheduling optimization mathematical model of high speed liners is established from the greenness angle. And the quantitative indicators and qualitative indicators were organic combined. The integer linear programming method was adopted to optimize analysis. Finally verify the feasibility of this optimal dispatch model through an example. Thus a scientific, reasonable way is provided for the high-speed liners scheduling arrangement.

Abstract: This paper is mainly about the optimized configuration about highway passenger station.Firstly it expounds the introduction of the paper.Secondly it uses regression model and object designing model to have a configuration of transport lines. Then it has an empirical analysis which is based on the transport line from huai'an to nanjing and gets the schedule. At last it has an evaluation on the schedules.

Study on Transport Scheme for Easing Congestion in and around Port - Take Colombo Port as an Example
Abstract: Considering the traffic congestion happened on the roads around Colombo Port, this paper first analyzed the existing problems of Colombo Port. 3 schemes are presented to ease its congestion and comparison is made between them to get the best one. Through this comparison, the scheme that building inland container depots (ICDs) and dock rails is proved to be the best one. Finally, we roughly calculated the cost the road and railway transport in ICDs and draw a conclusion that constructing ICDs can save much money in near future operation.

Abstract: In order to determine the main related factors affecting the wharf safety, this paper presents a model using the grey correlation analysis process to give a quantitative analysis about accidents in petrochemical wharf. Based on the statistics of wharf accidents in a petrochemical wharf of Tianjin Port from 2008 to 2012, the study analyzes four main accidents and related causes that take place in a petrochemical wharf. The grey correlation degree of the factors are calculated and analyzed including human factor, no emergency measures, equipment damage, poor management, environmental factor in petrochemical wharf, respectively. The result shows that the main causes of accidents are operation against rules and poor management in petrochemical wharf, and operation against rules is the most important factor. The application of grey correlation analysis gives a quantitative analysis to the degree affected by different factors so that wharf accidents can be avoided by taking effective measures.

Abstract: K-shortest path is of great significance for urban rail mass transit operation and management especially in large-scale network. The paper has analyzed composite structure characteristics and proposed the route features of the network. According to the former analyses, the author put forward a new method to build a double-layer network model based on the train operation with the corresponding double-layer searching algorithm to solve the model in order to obtain the k-shortest paths. Finally, the rationality and effectiveness of the algorithm had been verified through the examples, which prove that it could provide a new method to get the optimal k-shortest path between different O-D pairs in large scale network, and the search efficiency could be increased more than 13%. As a path searching algorithm based on the train running timetable, it demonstrate decision support for the operation of urban rail mass transit.
