Abstract: Firstly, established the optimization model based on complete information static game theory, which see evaluation index as the participants of a game, capacity strengthening strategies as the strategies of participants, and the strategies contained in the Nash equilibrium of the game as the first step optimization results. Then structure an algorithm to secondary selection, which makes there is only one strategy in the final result. At last given a case study combined with Baoshen railway capacity strengthening scheme decision. The result indicated that the model has good applicability, and can reduce the subjective error effectively.

Abstract: The passenger train service plan which is the basis of passenger transportation organization shows how to organize passenger flow into train flow. The degree of passenger satisfaction reflects the difference between perceived service and expected service. Due to the deficiency of transportation supply, a minority of passengers have to take their "originally reluctant" trains instead of "preferred" trains. This paper firstly analyses extra passenger transportation costs in high-speed rail line. Secondly, a multiobjective optimization model of passenger train service plan based on the degree of passenger satisfaction is proposed, in which minimizing the total passenger train stop times and minimizing the extra passenger transportation costs are the two planning objectives. Finally, a case study on the Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway line shows that the model can be solved by the genetic algorithm and can achieve satisfactory results.

Abstract: The worst ice blockages along the Yellow Sea coast and Bohai Sea had severe effects on maritime shipping, oil and gas mining and farming activities in the winter of 2009 and 2010. Ice blockages made some small ships divert to neighboring ports, which also affected these ports' operations. To evaluate the effect of ship-diversion induced emergency on port traffic, we propose a simulation model considering ship-diversion induced emergency, port transportation and operations. Then we carry out simulation experiments on a container terminal in Dalian Port. The experiment results show that ship-diversion induced emergency increased the peak hourly traffic volume, average daily traffic and thirtieth hourly volume, which provides a basis for port traffic planning and organization.

Abstract: This article makes a study of the Lhasa Railway Station, which is located on Tibet plateau, the key factors that would affect passenger traffic are based on a comprehensive evaluation. It tries to make some practical suggestions to deal with adverse effects on the phenomenon of the surge and decline in the number of passengers during different seasons. Authors believe that it should develop resilient organizational standards related to passengers to deal with adverse effects of this phenomenon.

Abstract: Rail gantry cranes are the core resources of railway container center stations which affect the operating efficiency and costs of stations. In this paper, a rail gantry crane deployment model is proposed which considers the operation time as well as balanced utilization of equipment. Further, this multi-objective function is transformed to a single objective model with a weight coefficient method. Finally, this paper puts forword optimization ideas for the deployment of core resources in a railway container center station.

Abstract: This paper has analyzed passenger flows' characteristics of Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway based on the ticket data of 2013 January, including passengers' distribution on the ranges of trip distance and passengers' composition in each range. Furthermore, it concentrated on analyzing preferences on passenger's choice behavior among the passengers of different OD pairs and the difference between weekday and weekend on passenger's behavior. The result shows short journey passenger had lower sensitivities on ticket price and travel speed, the selection of passengers from low-level node to high-level node on departure time had obvious clustering effect. With the increase of trip distance, the sensitivities of passengers on ticket price, travel speed and originating train would increase correspondingly. The paper's conclusion has referential meaning for researches on the optimization of high-speed railway transport organization.

Abstract: This paper used key word retrieval technology to present the development tendency of rail transit in China from the aspect of patent number, applicants, main patent technology, and find that the number of patent applications is increasing in recent years, and Beijing Jiaotong University is one of the major research institutions. The paper also contrasted the rail transit development of Beijng Jiaotong University and Xinan Jiaotong University, which are among the top four transportation universities in China. Finally, the paper used the IPC classification and retrieval technology and Life Cycle method to present the development tendency in the area of train operation safety and optical information storage, and find that the technology of train operation safety is increasing in recent years.

Abstract: In this study, a kind of uncertain network design problem, network design problem under uncertain construction cost, is researched. The discrete network design problem under uncertain construction costs deals with the selection of links to be added to the existing network, so as to minimize the total travel costs in the network. It is assumed that the value of the demand between each pair of origin and destination is a constant and the construction costs of each potential link addition follow a certain stochastic distribution. In this paper, a bi-level and stochastic programming model for the discrete network design problem is proposed. The construction costs of potential links are assumed as random variables and mutually independent with each other in this model. The upper-level model is a chance constrain model with the objective function of minimizing the total travel costs in the network, and the lower-level model is a user equilibrium model. The stochastic model is then transformed into a deterministic one. A branch-and-bound solution algorithm is designed to solve the deterministic model in an efficient way. At last, a computational experiment is conducted to illustrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the approach proposed in this paper. The results show that the stochastic model is more flexible and practical compared with the deterministic one.

Abstract: Considering the demand of night train on Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, two modes of segmented rectangular maintenance time window are discussed. Methods to make train operation plans under these two modes are proposed, aiming at shortening the train waiting time and making the departure and arrival time more reasonable. Comparing the new designed train operation plans with the original one under the vertical rectangular maintenance time window, it shows that segmented rectangular maintenance time window is better in night train operation.

Abstract: The paper analyzed basics of Jinzhongnan railway passage. Conclude that the passage belongs to Half-Open Heavy-haul railway and the transport organization is special by analyzing Heavy-haul railway mode. Analyze the operation of combined train in receiving-departure track of 1700m effective length couldnt match receiving-departure track of 1050m effective length on existed lines. On the basis of analyzing transport demand and transport capacity, suggest to increase the length of receiving-departure track of some stations to 2100m. And obtain transportation organization schemes of Jinzhongnan passage by integer programming.
