Abstract: Cell stress experimental study is currently a domestic and overseas research hotspot. Related research findings are widely applied to study the proliferation, activation, and functional status of cells when they are faced with deformation under physiological or pathological condition. It is of great significance to study the motion and status of cell and extra-cellular matrix under different stresses, for this may help us to further discover the re-build law of cell tissue, and to figure out corresponding remedy mechanism [. In order to disclose the relation between cell tissue proliferation activation result and the magnitude, property, affection duration and frequency of cell stress, so as to further reveal the proliferation and activation law of cell tissue, a dynamic stress with adjustable frequency and pressure is exerted. Hence, we developed a membrane-type variable stress wave cell membrane dynamic tensile stress test system [2-. The test system is designed to experimentally research several cell samples bearing stress from the same source at the same time, which is able to offer a required static pressure on tested cell tissue, as well as cell membrane experiment stress wave with certain variable frequency (0-20 times per minute) and adjustable magnitude. How to load dynamic tensile stress on cells is a key problem to be solved in cell culture test system. In allusion to the problem, a mechanical model is constructed in this paper, so as to analyze related mechanical features. On this basis, the stress and strain distribution law of various points on cell membrane is figured out. This has provided theoretical basis for area selection and design of cell seeding, experimental research on cell stress and result analysis.

Abstract: With the development of industrial control systems manufacture level and reliability technology in recent years, the traditional reliability prediction methods have been unable to meet the needs of product quality. The complicated system have taken the place of traditional simple equipment, maintenance, testing and common-cause failure are becoming new problem before product designers, compared to traditional methods of reliability prediction, the method based on Markov process take maintenance and testing time, common-cause failure factors into consideration, not only make the reliability analysis results more accurate, but also proves that these factors can affect the reliability of product, which can be used as the reference for equipment production engineer to improve products.

Abstract: The paper aims to explore how organizations in the transition phase of co-location to multi-locations production environment applied Robust Design approach to accommodate the complexity of manufacturing and assembly operation in multi-location production environment. By using a single case study method on a home appliances Research and Development (R&D) Company, this paper examines the detail of design and operational transformations within the organization at pre and post implementation stage of Robust Design. The paper starts with enlightenment of issues faced by the company that drove the move to explore the application of Robust Design, follows by illustrations on how Robust Design concept is re-configured and executed across the product design process within the company. The paper subsequently reviews operational impact driven by the implementation of Robust Design, this is followed by discussion and recommendation for improvement. Result from the case study suggested that top management commitment is the key success factor for the implementation of Robust Design in Research and Development firm. In addition, the case study offers an alternative and effective approach to develop a robust system within design and development environment.

Abstract: In order to carry out effective management on the operation of loom, a new approach is proposed to predict the operating condition of the loom. Firstly, the mathematical basis of Bayesian network is made, so a kind of abbreviated forecasting formula is proposed. Secondly, Bayesian model is made to predict the operating condition of the loom, and the related parameters of the model are estimated by processing real time data in the process of loom production. The practice has shown that the Bayesian prediction model has good results, and Bayesian network is more fit for the operating condition of the loom, which is of great value to judge the operating condition of the loom.

Abstract: Problems with plastic windows manufacturing trade are shown in the bland signing, the lack of production equipment state data in the supply chain link, cannot accurately install productions with multi-specifications. plastic windows manufacturing system based on EPC encoding would contribute to confirm production lead time and manufacturing costs, help to accurately collect date in producing department and install of plastic windows. With the 96 bits EPC GID-96(96 bits universal identifier) coding scheme, from viewpoints of manufacturing and installment construction, designed of plastic windows coding scheme.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to study the impact of manufacturing technology in facilitating lean manufacturers in achieving superior manufacturing performance while operating with by various challenges from external environment. The paper is based on a survey research done on lean manufacturers in Malaysia and their adoption of manufacturing technology to couple the implemented lean system in mitigating challenges. The challenges faced by lean manufacturing firms in many developing countries includes adopting the right technology, using it efficiently and continuously reviewing production technology in order to gain maximum output. Model from this empirical study is expected to contribute towards the enhancement of theory on contingency and its effect on performance. At theoretical level, the study results showed that of manufacturing technology mediate the relationship between environmental factors and performance of lean manufacturers.

Abstract: The study aims at examining the competition trend in Tanzania using modified regression model; in general the competition was satisfactory as it depicted monopolistic competition although the large share of assets still being dominated by large banks. The study adopted panzer and Rosse model where the sum of H statistics was 0.8 greater than zero but less than one. Therefore the study recommends the banks supervision to increase the reforms to increase competition level.

Abstract: Launching new products is an essential attributes of successful businesses as they survive and grow; and the ability to develop these new products to compete in existing or new markets is a core competency of many successful firms. The process of developing new products begins with a well conceived design, developed into prototype. In ceramics production, the manual process of developing product idea by hand turning or hand carving design concept in plaster is slow, inaccurate and demands skilled persons that are difficult to find and too much time consuming to train; thereby, tends to decrease product competitiveness. Thus, engaging technology, by developing and conducting test digitally, and generating rapid prototype from CAD model is seen as a viable approach that can help improve product quality and get product faster to market. Therefore, this paper seeks to investigate the viability of rapid prototyping technology in enhancing product value. The paper also illustrates on how designers can integrate aesthetic appeals in product by analyzing designs using PhiMATRIXTM Software.

Abstract: The flexiable manufacturing system is an automated machinery manufacturing system which could adapt the changable processing object. In this paper, a flexiable manufacturing system based on practical application of engineering traning is introduced. The general scheme of this FMS and its work processes are presented. The control system is designed and its functions are described in details. Results show that the FMS achieves a satisfactory effect.
