Abstract: The Three Gorges ship lock is an important part of the Three Gorges project, its completion and using have greatly improved transport conditions of the Yangtze River. With the development of the Yangtze River shelter-forest economy and water transport, the great pressure has been brought to the Three Gorges ship lock, the "bottlenecks phenomenon" of the Three Gorges ship lock is prominent increasingly. In order to improve the navigation capacity of the Three Gorges existing ship lock, and ensure navigation pass through ship lock to be convenient, safe, smooth and orderly, based on analyzing the navigation capacity of the ship lock and its main influencing factors, this paper establish ant colony optimization model for the ship lock arrangement, meantime to design and implement the corresponding algorithm. Computational results show that the application of the ant algorithm to the ship lock arrangement optimization is effective, and it offers a new way to solve this kind of optimization problem, moreover, it also offers technical support for improving the navigation capacity of the Three Gorges existing ship lock.

Abstract: In this paper, we present an efficient approach based on Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) to simulate nearly incompressible fluids. The proposed method is an extension of the traditional SPH method designed for compressible fluids. We first introduce a new scheme for pressure evaluation to satisfy the incompressibility constraints. Then novel calculation methods for pressure force and viscosity force are discussed. Finally, the results demonstrate that our method is more capable of realistically simulating fluids with near-incompressibility than previous method.

Abstract: The heavy rains often have big impact on urban traffic, it causes a lot of water cumulating at road depression, which affects normal thoroughfare for vehicles and even brings about road congestion. In this paper, seed spread algorithm to determine the catchment area is improved through analyzing the topographic feature of the underpass bridge and its surrounding small area of city typical low-lying areas, and it solves the inaccurate problem of catchment area of small area. According to forecast information of meteorological department, accumulated water region is quickly simulated and the water depth is dynamically displayed through the analysis of the process of road depression flooded by heavy rains and the calculation of water-collecting amount and depth, which can provide early warning information. Through the secondary development of 3D GIS software-skyline, the early flood warning analysis and dynamic simulation of the urban rainstorm is implemented, which can provide decision support for traffic warning and emergency response.

Abstract: This text aims at non-linear optimizing problem of illumination uniformity, and puts forward the method to improve illumination uniformity based on Quasi-sine Particle Swarm Optimization. This paper expatiates the basic principle of arithmetic and its carrying steps firstly. The target function and the orientation degree function are given. The result of optimizing target function shows this arithmetic makes constringency holistically and obtained target illumination by the arithmetic is well-proportioned.

Abstract: Traveling salesman problem (TSP) is not only a combinatorial optimization problem but also a classical NP-hard problem, which has high application value. Ant colony algorithm (ACA) is very effective for solving TSP problem, but basic ant colony algorithm has drawbacks of low convergence rate and easily trapping in local optimal solution. An improved ant colony algorithm was proposed. It used path optimization strategy to exchange the position of cities to find the better solution for TSP. Simulation results show the improved algorithm has better optimal solution and higher efficiency.

Abstract: In this paper, we present a method to estimate the [α/Fe ]using the spectra from ninth data release of Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). We first use principal component analysis (PCA) to reduce the dimension of the spectra, and then use Gaussian process regression (GPR) to estimate the [α/Fe ]ratios. The results show that GPR is accurate and efficient in estimating the [α/Fe]ratios. Further analysis shows that using PCA can improve the estimation accuracy of GPR.

Abstract: It is a new important research and applied field to create art by using computer technology. This article is primarily targeted to introduce a method which applies relevant theories and technology of Graphics and Image Processing, combined with the relevant skills and technique of Chinese painting and calligraphy to make a primary study on the simulation in writing strokes of Chinese withered pen calligraphy in the Digital Pen Simulated System of Painting and Calligraphy, and provides a pen pressure-sensitive mathematic model for the writing brush based on the mechanics principle. And also, we not only consider a lot of results in many experiments and the actual requirements of calligraphers and painters, but also characters of calligraphy and the writing strokes changes with the movement of brush to study the model of single cycle digital pen and the model of multi cycle withered pen, and make the bottom color of withered pen realized with Visual C++ 6.0.

Abstract: Rain attenuation prediction model of earth-satellite link, based on numerical weather forecast (NMF) statistics, require regionalization synthesizing the precipitation, rain-top height , and rainfall pattern (or time distribution) information, which ITU regionalization ignored. Thus, based on the MST-Clustering regionalization of average precipitation ,the mean delta binary (MDB) coding is presented to record rainfall pattern information, and Rainfall Characteristics Joint Regionalization is put forward to combine the precipitation and rain-top information. Finally, on the basis of Chinese meteorological monthly statistics, the Rainfall Characteristics Region Map is given, which is the essential step in the rain attenuation prediction model based on NMF statistics.

Abstract: Considering the fuzzy reasoning can be distributed over every node of a pervasive computing environment, we propose a fuzzy reasoning Petri net model with load detection (LD-FRPN) towards the decomposition of distributed fuzzy reasoning in this paper. The LD-FRPN model applies a hierarchical structure to make a description of reasoning on nodes more clear. We divide transitions of LD-FRPN into three classes to describe the reasoning, migrating and integrating of contexts respectively. With these transitions, the distributed reasoning of the pervasive computing environment will be specified.

Abstract: According to the prediction of energy-saving indicators of oilfield, proposed a prediction model based on QPSO optimized LS-SVR. In order to improve the prediction accuracy and speed, described the complex nonlinear relationship of predictors and factors by using LS-SVR, and optimized the parameters of LS-SVR through improved QPSO. The training data is oil production and liquid production of production data of oil production plant. The prediction result shows that, the model can achieve higher accuracy, so the method is effective and feasible.
