Abstract: The Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Thailand. GPO provides many medicinal products such as tablets and capsules to increase drug access to the Thai population through public hospitals and retail stores. Orders from these customers are accumulated and signal drug production. However, backorder shipments occur frequently and are estimated to worth about 180 million baths (or 6 million USD) a year. Initial study shows that the packing process behaves as a bottleneck, causing delays in the production and consequently to the drug shipments. The packing process utilizes multiple machines with different speeds and capacities. Moreover, instead of setup time in other manufacturing processes, drug production including the packing process requires a clearance process after each job—which is critical in pharmaceutical industry to reduce the risk of cross-contamination between drugs. The clearance time depends on the drug type of the next job. This paper presents a problem of job scheduling using parallel non-identical machines with sequence dependent clearance times. The objective is to minimize the total makespan. The mathematical model of the problem is a mixed integer/binary program. A numerical example from actual packing jobs is used to illustrate its application and solved by Excel Solver software.

Abstract: The inverse kinematics is very important in robotic application in the case of known object position. This paper explains about the inverse kinematics of right arm robot NAO based on the corner detection of a Chinese character image. The transformation coordinate system from image input of Chinese character to the robot NAO’s frame acceptable writing is needed. In order to control the right arm of robot NAO to write a Chinese character well, it is necessary to make a proper set of the RShoulderRoll angle q1 and the RElbowRoll angle q2, respectively. At first, the thinning processing, corner detection and depth-searching are employed to recognize a Chinese character. Due to the robot NAO just has three fingers, dust the position of the marker or pen-brush must be suitable of its. The experiment results achieve a better demonstration of recognition and handwriting for simple Chinese characters with less than 5 strokes.

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to research the image recognition system and its applications, which is based on combining the traditional BP neural networks and the third-generation pulse coupled neural network (PCNN).The process is by extracting the image's time and entropy sequences, then through the fast Fourier transform, and finally as inputs of the pattern classification. In order to test the stability of the system, we make some varies by rotating, tension and compressing the original image, meanwhile, combined with the statistics of the entropy information to determine the time delay parameter of the pcnn, the recognition results is satisfactory.

Abstract: Mathematical morphology can be seen as a special digital image processing method and theory, which has been widely used in various fields. In this paper, the mathematical morphology is applied to the color image processing. In thespace of color image, I have simply expounded the theories and properties of color morphological changs, and defined its morphological operators. According to the application of omni-directional and multi-angle structuring elements composite morphological filter in gray image, I put forward a kind of color morphological filter with omni-directional and multi-angle structuring elements composite. This algorithm has retained its advantages in gray image, however, remaining some drawbacks. Through the optimization of results based on this algorithm, we finally get the relatively ideal denoising effects.

Abstract: Aiming at edge information easily lost in impulse noise filtering, an algorithm for high noise density is proposed in this paper. Firstly, pixels contaminated can be detected by the characteristic of their grey and some information about every pixel and its neighborhood can be got. Secondly, by a judgment of the detail and a selection of the optimal neighborhood, two traditional filter methods are used to reduce the noise density and obtain more information of the contaminated pixels. Finally, the edge judgment based on double-window is added to preserve more edge information. Experiment shows that for impulse noise, whether the low density or the high density, the proposed algorithm can obtain more satisfactory result with a lower RMSE (Root of Mean Square Error) and a higher EPI (Edge Preserved Index).

Abstract: As for highly repetitive image of Internet, a new image algorithm combined with DCT and block median method is designed. As there is a certain correlation between low-frequency coefficient of DCT and image scaling, the sequence vector of DCT coefficients is introduced with block median method to make up the defect of DCT processing for multi-channel image supplied. Through the combination of DCT and block median method, the recall and precision of new algorithm is over 95%. New algorithm works well in image scaling, resists well against watermarking attack and is able to detect the copy of target image fast and accurately from a large scale image datasets.

Abstract: This article studies image copyright protection algorithm based on watermark. Aimed at the defect that watermark loading algorithm easily leads to the loss of original image information, it proposes a kind of quantization based on wavelet tree structure so that in the watermark extraction process, it can restore the original intact image without original image or watermark information. First, it makes use of level-four wavelet transform to construct tree wavelet coefficient waveband diagram. Then it discretizes and insets watermark information into different waveband nodes of tree structure according to coefficient variation maximum principle. By designing self-adaption threshold value during extracting process, it can restrict some common watermarking loss better, such as smoothing, mean value filtering and gaussian noise. The experiment result proves that this method can make watermark image the visually same as the original image and watermark can still be extracted effectively after preprocessing.

Abstract: The current transducer is the premise condition of electricity measurement, relay protection, monitoring and diagnosis system, and power system analysis. This paper introduces the principle and signal to noise characteristics of optical current transducer (OCT), which is based on Faraday Magneto-optic effect. Then, proposed uses the kalman filter and particle filtering method to improve the output SNR of OCT, for the OCT has a low SNR. At last, Establish the both particle filter dynamic model for AC and DC situation, After choosing appropriate parameters of the kalman filtering and particle filtering mix method on the matlab simulation of the above situation, the results show that the kalman filtering and particle filtering mix method can improve the output SNR and measuring accuracy.

Abstract: A frequency reuse scheme is proposed in this paper for multi-beam satellite system to improve spectral efficiency as well as system capacity. Firstly, in order to reuse same channel among beams, Tomlinson-Harashima precoding (THP) is introduced to pre-cancel downlink interference of users from different beams. Secondly, a resource scheduling algorithm is proposed to jointly work with THP. Finally, simulations are executed to validate the proposed scheme, which suggest that compared to traditional frequency reuse scheme, the proposed frequency reuse scheme can successfully eliminate co-channel interference with a high spectral efficiency.

Abstract: A relation model between extraction efficiency quality parameter and extraction process parameters was presented as the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) effective constituent extraction efficiency is an important quality index in the TCM extraction process. This paper verified the correctness of the model which based on the actual production data and makes the prediction of the extraction efficiency possible. To judge whether the extraction process is in a controlled state base on the X-R control Chart of extraction efficiency predicted value, thus achieved to monitor the quality of the extraction process. This paper is of great significance in ensuring the quality of TCM extraction production stable and uniform.
