Abstract: This paper proposed a calculation model of transverse Poisson's ratio of continuous fiber reinforced composite, in which the fibers are centrally arranged in a representative volume element. According to the equivalent strain rule of matrix and fiber in fiber direction, the formula of transverse Poisson's ratio was deduced by mathematical method, which shows that the transverse Poisson's ratio of the composite material is associated with the Poisson's ratios and the elastic modulus of fiber and matrix. It was shown by an example that the transverse Poisson's ratio of composite was less than the weighted average number of the Poisson's ratios of fiber and matrix , even less than the matrix Poisson's ratio in a large range. The minimum value indicates that the fibers obviously resist longitudinal deformation under the transverse force.

Abstract: Polymeric Cement Concrete (PCC) is used for function layer of pavements throughout the world owing to its better and economical performance than cement concrete pavements and asphalt pavements. However, the problem associated with the PCC layer is the proportion design method with traditional checking trial batches method. In this paper, asphalt mix proportion design experience was referenced in PCC mix design. The Fuller Cure was used to determine the aggregate gradation, and a filling index Dp was referenced in PCC mix design. The laboratory tests were done including the strength test (tensile strength and compressive strength), texture depths, the British pendulum number (BPN) and the noise with the method of accelerating-falling tire.

Abstract: Electric flux method working principle, apparatus and procedures were briefly introduced, and the existing problems were analyzed. The authenticity of testing concrete chloride ion permeability resistance were analyzed from the aspects of timeliness and, the practicability combining with actual application and experimental study, the application occasion was put forward. The solutions and improvement measures are put forward for common problems in the process of use.

Abstract: The effect of stone powder content on the chloride diffusion coefficient and diffusion attenuation coefficient of chloride ion of mechanical sand (MS) concrete was studied. The results showed that the resistance to chloride ion permeability of MS concrete firstly increased and then decreased with the increase of the content of stone powder. The anti-permeability of the concrete which had moderate amount of stone powder was better than that of the natural river sand (NS) concrete. The diffusion attenuation coefficient of MS concrete was greater than that of the NS concrete, which was good for long-term durability of concrete structure.

Abstract: The construction of ecological residence is based on purpose of do not destroy the ecological balance, achieving energy conservation and environmental protection requirements. Therefore, promoting the ecological residence, is of great significance for the protection of natural resources and environment. This article mainly from the perspective of ecological residential design, combined with small towns in the north, to do the simple discussion from green ecological residential housing overall layout to the maintenance of the structure of the design details, from the choice of building materials and recycled to the use of renewable energy.

Abstract: Since 1985, various intelligent technologies have introduced and policy-driven in Taiwan, the intelligent building system has gradually formed catering for the characteristics of Taiwan. Therefore, this study proceeds to explore current status and survey strategies of policy implementation for intelligent buildings development in Taiwan, and further obtained countermeasures for building developers and public sectors in implementation intelligent buildings. The study firstly proceeds to relevant literature review and analysis of intelligent buildings both domestic and foreign, and through statistic and analysis in case studies and content analysis method, acquires Taiwan intelligent building evaluation indicator items for normal and non-normal application of intelligent building system by building developers and public sectors. Through study found four evaluation indicator items of normal application, and one evaluation indicator items of non-normal application, as well as building developers selected quantity and items of evaluation indicator fewer than public sectors. It is expected that study result will providing assessment and references to building developers and public sectors for the direction and implement strategy of intelligent building development in future, and further promote the realization goal of sustainable intelligent green building in Taiwan.

Abstract: The expanded perlite lightweight, non-toxic, non flammable, good insulation properties, and chemical stability, corrosion resistance, low cost, its application more widely. But after absorbing its high water absorption and the freeze-thaw resistance shortcomings significantly reduced as building insulation materials, especially in the cold and cold regions is very restricted. Expanded perlite products with hydrophobic technology, the advantages of both ordinary expansion perlite products, but also solve the problem of absorbent easy and freeze-thaw resistance poor, as the application of external insulation materials in building engineering has been expanded.

Abstract: Super high-rise building seismic design of complex shape is very important, can not be carried out according to the traditional design method. This paper gives a design principle based on behavior, it in the engineering design and more attention. Method based on behavior on the properties of reaction structures under earthquake is evaluated. High-rise buildings must be based on the method of state to confirm that the building to meet seismic performance.

Abstract: The key of constructing cast-in-situ bored piles in filled-sea ground area is how to bore through loose and uneven stratum filled with a great amount of large hard rubble, how to overcome the affection of ocean tide and how to prevent the accident of hole’s collapsing, shrinking or irregular shape, thick sedimentary cinder. This paper introduces the practice of constructing cast-in-situ bored piles in the filled-sea ground area in Yantai.
