Abstract: Building is one physical form with actual use function, and it is an artwork formed by architects conducting processing and combination to the basic geometric forms in accordance with the law of aesthetics, the author has summarized the formation of the architectural pattern to be several formation modes according to the formation features of the architectural bodies, through the research on these several kinds of formation modes, we can excavate the law of the formation of the architectural pattern and grasp the technique for the architectural image design.

Abstract: This paper presents the input and output of elevator evacuation warning system based on the analysis of elevator evacuation risk in fire, and expounds elevator evacuation warning system design concept from three aspects, which are "use of the elevator is safe", " waiting for the elevator is safe" and "elevator's decision is a safe choice".

Abstract: Founded in 1921, former Kailuan Coal Mining Administration Building in Tianjin is a landmark in a classical revival style in Tai'an Road Historic District. In its conservation and restoration design, according to the conservation status and damage characteristics of the historic materials in different parts, the paper analyzes its causes and deterioration mechanism, and employs reasonable and effective restoration techniques. In addition, it tracks and assesses the quantitative nodes and technique processes of remediation technologies including cleaning technology, timely adjusts technology strategies and formulates restoration technology and strategy from the perspective of eliminating the mechanism that drives damage of historic materials.

Abstract: There are many western style historical buildings in China, and the old buildings need a renovation and protection for their historical value in culture and facilities. It is an important protection problem for the culture symbols and historical building renovation. In this paper, it presents a old cultural building’s renovation process following the a interior design project management guideline, as the public old building, it should consider its old structure and modern building corresponding, the project cost and the craft combine together in this case study, as the successful case and field symbolic building, it shows a new characters around that place.

Abstract: Occupancy and funding are crucial attributes of culture in predicting public housing transformation in Nigeria. The study investigates the implication of occupancy and funding as salient socio-economic factors of housing transformation. Questionnaire survey method was used to assess users’ experience which was analysed using statistical analysis with structural equation model (SEM). The result indicated a good model fit of occupancy and funding as socio-economic predictors that motivates residents’ housing adjustment decisions. Thus, the study recommends that socio-economic indices of occupancy and ease of funding future public housing adjustments can be considered by developers at the design stage.

Abstract: Nanyang is the second batch of historical and cultural city announced by state council,the historical street in the center of Nanyang town hall has a long story, it is the earliest form of Nanyang and is important to continue the Nanyang historical context. Aimed at the protection status of Nanyang historical street district,authors approached the historical street district protection and renewal method by two aspects. First, Positioning objects to be protected and proposing protection method;second,combining the historical district protection sample at home and abroad, analyzing the field research, and extracting historical elements, to make the renewal design.

Abstract: This paper first introduces the units which are used in general-purpose finite element analysis software ABAQUS simulation of steel and concrete as well as their material constitutive models, and then taking the simulation analysis of a spiral staircase for instance to draw displacement of a spiral staircase along the outer edge lines, the inner edge lines, and the axes of the stair treads under static loadings. By comparison, we find the rationality and insufficient points of the simplification of the spiral staircase to the calculation assumption which makes the axle wires as rod pieces. According o the displacement and stress of the spiral staircase, we give ​​some suggestions to provide some useful references to the designers of the spiral staircase.

Abstract: The present study focused on boundary morphology of campus, which took part of universities of Yangtze River Delta Region as examples. The influence factors of campus boundary were discussed based on the analysis of space, function and transportation forms of campus boundary, which led to the author's strategies and opinions of optimizing boundary morphology of campus boundary.

Abstract: Japan is an earthquake-prone country since ancient times. A lot of valuable experience has been accumulated. One of the mature and effective measures is that primary and middle schools are used as refuge of community residents. Introduce the advanced concept in China, the availability and practicability of the emergency shelters should be improved. Research on the earthquake disaster prevention, effective measures of aseismic should be adopted in primary and middle school planning to mitigate the damage. A safe social environment should be built.
