Abstract: Through the analysis of historical and cultural blocks protection of the China FAW, this article puts forward the shift from the building to the blocks about the industrial heritage protection in the new period, thinks the protection category of industrial heritage should be expanded moderately and pays attention to the life authenticity protection. This paper lays stress on the collection of industrial heritage historical information to form the urban culture resources characteristic and also on the industrial tourism in the development of cities, then embodies the thinking of the industrial city value in the field of industrial heritage. Finally, the paper presents the urban industrial heritage as a resource should be carried on the overall evaluation and reservation, should be established the related planning systematically and should be protected, developed and utilized reasonably.

Abstract: One of the challenges in large megacities is the question with foreign settlements. International migrants coming to South Korea comprise of different groups; some of them, especially migrant workers tend to concentrate or settle down in some particular areas. Frequently strong ethnic consciousness, education and social networking, or places of employment proximity are important factors for their socialization. Spatial conditions and facilities of these city areas are changing to serve migrants needs. This paper presents results of our social survey conducted at Russian-speaking, Central Asian and Mongolian town in Gwanghuidong, Jung-gu in Seoul. The social survey analysed conditions in the area and collected views of residents, workers, visitors and customers of the area in June-November 2013. The results of social survey demonstrate the need and can be used for further improvement of urban conditions at the area. Paper discusses on further research directions on “foreign villages” urban conditions and their social values and challenges for cities.

Abstract: In the work of city planning, the planning and design personnel should take city roads, city transportations, drainage system and all kinds of infrastructures into account, which are closely linked with spatial position. In the area of the application of urban planning, with its powerful function in representation and analysis, GIS have remarkable advantages compared with normal information management systems. These powerful GIS function can solve the problem such as calculate and estimate of plot ratio and greening rate, the adaptability evaluation of ground and environment. In addition, GIS bring convince for urban planning work with its powerful function in scene simulation, three-dimensional display and analysis. Construction a programmed decision-making system based on GIS with the function of urban planning information management, model construction and decision-making can provide scientific decision and reference for urban planning personnel.

Abstract: In the process of economic and social development, Chongqing rural settlements, especially in the traditional villages have been affected by various factors. The original features of settlement and culture are facing up constantly interventions and challenges, which are gradually have been through decay and ruined. The protection and heritage of traditional villages is imminent. Through the research of " Xiushan County Zhong Ling town Chenjiaba traditional village protection planning", this article provides the exploration of Chongqing mountain traditional villages of protection and heritage strategy pattern, That strengthen the comb guide space texture, Restoration of architectural style, The improvement of the supporting facilities, Landscape environment regulation and so on, Building good architecture and village beautiful environment, In order to glow the vitality and dynamism of traditional villages.

Abstract: It will be instructive from the traditional houses for the intensive residential insulation measures on the process of urbanization in cold winter and hot summer areas. Through the field investigation and research,the way of summer prevailing wind will be opened by the corridor with the construction layout. It will improve the insulation performance, by the layout,the inner courtyard ,bottom overhead ,construction materials and design of thermal protection for structures and fittings.

Abstract: The paper first analysis a part of the existing subway station entrance of the form, and then combined with the Zhengzhou University (South) design of the subway station entrance, explores new forms of the subway station entrance to ETFE materials based on, and introduces some applications of new forms of expression effect and modular in the design of this kind of practice, not only for the subway station entrance to create new forms, but also the "ETFE" membrane using a good try in a small building, promote the new development of this kind of materials.

Abstract: Talking about Tibet, people will associate to the bright blue sky, white clouds float across the sky, the red sun and the Mani-stone-pile everywhere. All of these factors make people to get intimacy to Tibet, however, the factor that reflects its mysterious is the unique Tibetan architecture. The architectures mainly include the palace for royal families, the buildings for monks to living and practice, and the houses for ordinary people. The distribution of these architectures are scattered and ordered in Tibet, forming vivid and unique architecture scenery and environmental features. The authors will make a simple summary and brief analysis of Tibetan architecture.

Abstract: This text is a brief analysis of the ancient urban planning and urban structure of Xuzhou, which is also known as Pengcheng in ancient times. It will firstly present some introductions of Xuzhou’s history background, then following with some detail information of ancient Xuzhou’s urban planning. And finally it will discuss the development and changes in Xuzhou’s urban structure.

Abstract: City centers have multi-functions, different values and features. But too fast development of Chinese urbanization brings about a series of problems at present, deviation from the original good original intention of setting up the city.This article starts with the fact that the development of China’s urbanization is over speeding, thereby introduces the necessity of urban study and difficulties to improve the current situation, and points out that combining a multidisciplinary approach is an essential step in the development of future cities.

Abstract: Analyses main problems of Land Use Classification Standard in China, learns methods of linguistics and policy analysis, proposes three modes of land use classification. Experiential mode based on facts, appraisive mode is value-oriented, prescriptive mode focuses on act. According to the characteristics of three modes, land use classification presents different forms in every stages of urban planning and illuminates the basic methods of urban planning.
