Abstract: Thermal conductivity of expanded polystyrene foam board (EPS) is affected by the environment when used as insulation material in the building. In order to simulate the impact on EPS in the building and test the thermal conductivity of EPS in different conditions, we conducted a simulation study, including temperature and humidity simulation tests, freeze-thaw tests and mechanical tests. This study of EPS in different environmental conditions established a good foundation for further research on environment dependence of thermal conductivity in national codes.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the features of traditional decorative elements in color, pattern and technology, and shows the decorative, nationality and cultural characteristics of them. The ways of architecture interior design are proposed. Put forward the feasibility to Mawei patterns used in interior design, and summarizes the applied regional interior space in a way and method, shows the significance and value of traditional decorative elements in the development and practical application.

Abstract: Guangfu dwellings affected by high temperature in summer daytime have derived a lot factors to improve indoor microclimate. Like dwellings near the water and use the layout of roadway and architectural cracks to form ventilation; high windows to form a cold air exchange; use oyster shells, creeper and overhang plants on facade to insulate heat, etc. Two cases were mentioned that used of the above factors to improved microclimate. Combined the experience of ancient buildings with modern technology and materials can improve indoor microclimate of architecture is concluded.

Abstract: This paper analyzes and summarizes the materials, patterns and colors in Southwest Shandong’s traditional textiles, researches on the current application in the interior soft decoration. Combined with the modern concepts of interior environment design, this essay digs a meeting point between the traditional and modern design. At the same time, with Southwest Shandong’s folk textiles as an example, it puts forward a valuable theoretical perspective and approach for the application of folk textiles in modern interior design, and for the integration of folk textiles art with modern product design. It is hoped that this paper can help carry forward the folk textiles.

Abstract: Light environment design is very important for the indoor environment of architecture. Create excellent light environment conducive to better access to outside information. This paper shows light environment design of indoor environment in modern architecture. Light environment design should keep up with the pace of the trend of indoor lighting, from the basic needs of the original pure satisfaction, development to the pursuit of a comfortable lighting environment, then rose to have aesthetic value of light environment art. Promote the use of green environmental protection way to create a warm indoor light environment.

Abstract: The living test was made in the Qinhuangdao “Water Front” passive houses from January to September in 2013 including heating, cooling and transition seasons. The main testing comfortable indexes were indoor temperature, humidity, concentration of CO2, noise and so on. Using temperature and humidity grapher and CO2 detectors Flank F7206 to test and record the dates every hour .Comparing the testing dates to the German passive house standards, the results shows that “Water Front” passive houses satisfy the German passive house comfortable standards.

Abstract: A traditional metal processing factory is a hot workplace. Previously, the rationality of the work-rest time regimen and the hazard of workload on employee health have been evaluated; however, thermal comfort of workers in such a hot workplace has not been discussed. This paper uses the standard new effective temperature as the thermal environment index to investigate the neutral temperature, preferred temperature, and comfortable temperature range. The doors and windows in traditional metal processing factories are always open; therefore, the neutral temperature is almost the same as the neutral temperature in semi-outdoor and outdoor environments. In addition, the preferred temperature is slightly higher than the neutral temperature. We also discovered that the comfortable temperature range in traditional metal processing factories is larger than that in office environments, but smaller than that in semi-outdoor and outdoor environments.

Abstract: Ventilation temperature-velocity-temperature gradient grouped time parameter and these parameterized air age equation are constructed to calculate air age, not only of a single ventilation but also of ventilations more than one type, combining with the celebrated average air age equation, based on study of ventilation and air age at a certain subway station platform in this paper. These new results meet well with those of Airpak simulated, which shows a new complete method to calculate air age by the average air age equation, and broaden the air quality audit theory in side of air age.

Abstract: Adopting the methods of subjective questionnaire and objective test, the indoor air quality (IAQ) of residential buildings in Lhasa were analyzed in summer and winter, and the results were compared with that in Chongqing. Firstly, the data shows that the overall IAQ in Lhasa is better. Excepted total volatile organic compounds (TVOC), the concentration of formaldehyde, carbon dioxide (CO2), PM2.5 are low. Secondly, more than 80% residents accepted the IAQ in Lhasa, which means the satisfaction rate is high. Thirdly, the IAQ in Lhasa is better than that in Chongqing, such that the exceed-standard rate of formaldehyde is only 2.5% in Lhasa, while 85.7% in Chongqing, and residents’ satisfaction rate in Lhasa is higher. Meanwhile, there are some difference about IAQ in different seasons. The overall concentration of indoor pollutants in summer is lower than that in winter, and residents satisfaction rate on the summer IAQ is higher than winter in Lhasa. Finally, the main effect factors on IAQ were analyzed, and some suggestions to improve the IAQ of residential buildings were provided.
