Abstract: According to the demands of the text recognition in natural scenes, we focus on the text recognition system and its algorithm. Firstly, we present a secondary detection method in which we locate the text area quickly by using the edge of these characters and secondly introduce an improved segmentation algorithm of active contour to detect the location of the target character accurately, based on prior knowledge. Lastly, in the state of text recognition, we propose a KNN (K-Nearest Neighbor) classification method using the descriptor of shape context. The experiments show that our algorithm could achieve better detection rate than others.

Abstract: In the weapon maintenance and training simulator software system development process, with the object-oriented analysis methods introduced, the software system was modeled by the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and described with case diagrams, class diagrams, sequence diagrams and activity diagrams. The results show that modeling by UML can standardize systems development process, optimize software structure, improve the efficiency of system development and enhance the readability and maintainability. Results of this study for the design and development of weapons maintenance and training simulator software system has a certain significance.

Abstract: To the characteristics of index weight, using minimal deviation method as the theoretical tools to create index portfolio weight optimization model. Using genetic algorithms to solve the optimal weight vector model which has the capability of global searching . Through example demonstrate, the right combination to get the weight vector of the model is more reasonable and scientific, and genetic algorithm process a simpler and easier way to understand than traditional methods.

Abstract: The precision of the altitude measurement system installed in some type airplane does not fulfill the need of the airborne equipment, this paper propose a method based on the federated filter which utilizes the data of the air data computer system (ADS), inertial navigation system (INS) and the GPS to improve the precision and stability of the altitude output. The results of simulation show that the algorithm takes full advantage of all of the sub-system, which reduces the error of the ADS and improves the altitude output precision. Meanwhile the method may separate some faulted sub-system (e.g. GPS) and reform the system, which renders the system better fault tolerant and real-time performance.

Abstract: This paper analyzed the difficulties when applying and promoting automatic demand response in a wide range under the current development status. Based on the demand of users, a system model and the information model of demand response program were designed. Then, an information interactive model which is suitable for the development of demand response in China was proposed.

Abstract: Aim at solving the problem is poor quality of waveforms and that of complicated modulation strategy in two stage matrix converter. The method is that Limit-Trajectory over-modulation strategy is adopted in inverter to ensure linear modulation in all over-modulation regions and space vector pulse width modulation is adopted in rectifier. This simpler control algorithm reduces memory space and linear calculation is instead of look-up table. Simulation show that the voltage transfer ratio can be improved from 0.866 to 0.95 and the quality of output waveforms is greatly enhanced.

Abstract: Aiming at the shortage of SIFT algorithm in time comsumption and getting less matching points. On the one hand, the paper improves the original SIFT algorithm, it proposes regional growth algorithm based on SIFT, so you can get many matching points which are good for generating the disparity map; on the other hand, the paper uses the CPU and GPU heterogeneous platforms and analyses the CUDA programming model and memory model. This paper analyses the algorithm in detail, so the algorithm can be carried out on CUDA. Experimental results show that, compared with the original algorithm, the algorithm is about 10 times faster, and generate good disparity map.

Abstract: Switch power module parallel operation system is one of the technological developing directions of power with high-power output and uninterruptible supply. The paper puts forward a concept to design switch power module parallel operation system, which adopts two TPS5430 chips to compose DC-DC cell parallel and through their load sharing to control chip UCC39002 to implement DC-DC unit outputting equalized current. It succeeds in building experimental prototype.
