Abstract: Amorphous silicon thin-film PV cell(AST) generally consists of a few – micron thick silicon film on a glass substrate, which has difficulty for being accurately measured by using a conventional testing method to obtain its elastic modulus and hardness. In our study, we are applying nanoindentation for the measurement purpose and divide the sample into five regions for studying. Both of peak load - and loading rate - dependences supervise us to more accurately measure the mechanical properties of silicon layer through defining the peak load at 9000μN and loading rate at 1000μN/s. It was also observed that across the whole sample measurements on the elastic modulus have much better consistence than those on the hardness. We therefore propose a method of partitioning the sample into two parts for counting the different hardness measurements.

Abstract: Based on the summary of research methods and research results of durability of corroded steel bar and its structure, the factors that affect durability of corroded steel bar were summarized and the corrosion morphology and regularity of steel bar was analyzed as well as the impact on the mechanical properties and fatigue life of steel bar. The weakening of fatigue life of steel bar because of corrosion was illustrated through the typical corroded steel bar fatigue S-N curve. Finally, the study direction on durability of corroded steel bar under fatigue load was proposed according to the research progress and the insufficiency at present.

Abstract: Introduced the current situation at home and abroad pipeline anticorrosion technology, commonly used in the melting epoxy powder, adhesive tape, anticorrosion, multilayer structure coal tar epoxy, polyurethane extruded polyethylene anticorrosion technology. High performance synthetic resin, filler, pigment, anticorrosion material will have greater development, along with the application of pipeline anticorrosion technology in construction, chemical, oil and other industries, the pipeline anticorrosion technology will have larger development space.

Abstract: Base on the data that gained from pullout test of Polypropylene fiber, multi-factor regression analysis considering water cement ratio and age of cement matrix, length and angle of embedded fiber was carried out. Then, a practical function of pullout force-displacement was proposed, which is well agreed with the test results.

Abstract: Chinese traditional houses as an important carrier of culture and art forms,and it has a unique historical and cultural value in the history of world architecture. In eastern Hubei Chenjiashan mud brick houses used as an example, clay brick production process, material properties and eco-friendly ideas were eleven studies. The results showed that the soil is not only convenient drawn tiles, ease of processing, with thermal insulation capacity, and deal with local waste material is simple, not a burden and a threat to the environment and can be recycled. The study aims to provide a reference for the sustainable development of building materials and scientific basis.

Abstract: This report mainly studied the influence of dosage of the sodium polyacrylate on mechanical properties of slag-based geopolymer, and secondary studied the effects on mechanical properties of polyacrylic acid. The analyzing results indicate that compare to the polyacrylic acid, sodium polyacrylate has obvious effects on mechanical properties of slag-based geopolymer. And it’s mainly reflects on the nature of the 28 d, it’s early effects is not obvious. The mechanical properties of slag-based geopolymer doesn’t change with the dosage of sodium polyacrylate increase linearly, but overall mechanics properties is significantly superior to the blank sample.

Abstract: Introducing research progress of rate-dependent tests by domestic and foreign scholars, strain-rate effect on dynamic mechanical properties of concrete are reviewed. Classified descriptions of research results on dynamic load tests of concrete at home and abroad are provided, including uniaxial compression tests, uniaxial tensile tests, and multi-axis tests; strain-rate effects on concrete strength and deformation properties in each test are respectively discussed; and strain-rate effect on concrete energy absorption capability are described.

Abstract: This paper presents a review of research progress in fire performance of concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) columns. Experimental results of CFST columns in fire are reviewed with influence parameters, such as heights, cross-sectional dimension, section types, concrete types, concrete strengths, load ratio, load eccentricity, fire exposed sides and so on. Some conclusions of CFST columns under fire conditions are summarized. Deficiencies in the fire performance experiments of CFST columns are identified, which provide the focus for future research in the field.

Abstract: The cement-lime treated loess soils and cement-treated loess soils are widely used all over the world, but their strength features and physical mechanism are investigated few at the moment. The cement-lime treated loess soil samples and cement-treated loess soil samples were prepared according to their weight ratio and tested to study their physical indices and strength varying with age. The tested results demonstrate that: (i) The content of cement has great influence on the liquid limit and plastic limit of the samples. With the increase of adding content of lime, the average plasticity indices also increase gradually, and the values of plastic limits of the samples will also increase; (ii) The stregnth of the samples increases with the increase of curing age, which is affected by many factors including treated materials, compatcion work, water content, and age.
