Abstract: Wall cracking is a universal phenomenon existing in the composite structure house, prevention and control of masonry crack is a systematic project. the reason of crack on the temperature change, uneven settlement of foundation, construction factors and dry shrinkage of material.It put forward the corresponding control measures:to set reasonably temperature expansion joint, settlement joint and adopt construction measures when designing structure;to make reasonable arrangements for the construction of the roof insulation layer ,trying to avoid high temperature season; As for the materials,it is recommended to use fiber mortar to improve the waterproof performance of the wall.Above all, the paper want to show that cracking control can be achieved by the close coordination of all aspects of design, construction, supervision.

Abstract: Along with economic development, the consciousness and the ability in our country of historical reconstruction increase gradually. The use of information technology for modeling, design and archive in historical reconstruction is of great significance.The emergence of BIM (building information model) technology can effectively promote the ancient architecture of information integration and the collaboration between the parties. It can also avoid the understanding error of design. Using BIM to build ancient building component library can also reduce the burden of the future similar engineering design modeling work. Articles explore the current problems to overcome in ancient building repair, introduce the BIM technology, and then expounds the importance and advantages of BIM technology in historical reconstruction. At last, this paper proposes the whole idea of using BIM technology to repair and build the historical building.

Abstract: For multi-floor public buildings, exterior shading plays a more and more important role in architectural design. In this paper, a program at lowest investment costs on premise of equivalent function value is selected for projects with several alternative shading programs by using value engineering method and by conducting techno-economic comprehensive appraisals on aspects of shading, ventilation, cost, appearance and maintenance and some other factors.

Abstract: According to the factors involved in safety management process of high-rise construction lift platform, an evaluation index system was established in the paper, which covering five respects such as the management of security preparedness, security use, security monitoring, security organization and security environment. Entropy method was used for weight calculation and grey system theory was used to carry on grey comprehensive evaluation for each evaluation index in this index system, so built safety management model based on entropy method and grey theory. The model could comprehensively reflect the safety management performance of high-rise construction lift platform. Finally, an example of high-rise building construction project was given to evaluate the safety of construction lift platform in the project and put forward the reasonable suggestions according to the evaluation result.

Abstract: EPS, XPS and PU plates etc. are often selected as the insulating layer in external thermal insulation system. Although featured by good thermal insulation properties and low costs, these materials are provided with major fire potential. Therefore, fireproof treatment methods for the thermal insulation materials and fireproof structural measure for the system are proposed in this paper based on the combustion tests on the thermal insulation materials, so as to increase the fire protection safety of the external thermal insulation system.

Abstract: The sun-shading design was carried out based on a comprehensive building in a cold region. The reasonable building sun-shading design method in combination with the regional and facade characteristics in the cold regions is discussed, meanwhile, the unit-area refrigeration power consumption of the room and the annual building energy consumption before and after sun-shading setting are analyzed with simulation software. It is proposed that in the cold regions, designing sun-shading reasonably can reduce air conditioners energy consumption in summer, improve the indoor thermal environment and increase the indoor comfort level. This research can provides a technical reference to promote the sun-shading and building integration design and application in the cold regions.

Abstract: The continuous evolution of traditional construction technique compels the new generation building technology to renovate the present thinking mode of static building into dynamic building behavior pattern. The building development of buildings' exterior structure and the variance in shaping has breakthroughs with the maturation of BIM technology. At present, with the renovation and evolution of building technology, the dynamic building mode of rotating building is shown up and innovated continuously in various countries. Therefore, this study aims to discuss the main building characteristics and key technical indicators of the future rotating buildings. The major technical projects implemented in the present rotating building construction cases in Taiwan and abroad are analyzed by literature review, case study and survey. Eight key technical indicators are found by statistical analysis and expert feedback of Delphi Method. The statistical analysis of case demonstration is carried out to demonstrate the research findings. The research findings can be used as theoretical reference for new building technology R&D. They can increase the substantive effectiveness of design construction and technical development of the future rotating buildings, so as to enhance the construction technique quality and management of the future rotating buildings, and to contribute to the national goal for sustainable green construction.

Abstract: A comfort analysis for the building at a metro depot is presented in this paper with FEA method. First, the dynamic analysis for the whole building structure is performed and the acceleration response of each floor is calculated and compared with the civil codes, based on which the structural comfort is estimated. And then, the major factor resulting in the comfort problem of shear-wall buildings is obtained by frequency domain analysis and it is the summation of mode participating coefficients according to the peak-amplitude frequency-range of vibration source. And finally, an advice for the modification of building design is presented to avoid the structural comfort problem.

Abstract: A closed coal yard grid’s tructure is the shell and tube bolt ball grid, larger span, rise high higher, the highest point to ground is very high. This space truss’s construction method uses slice installation and aerial bulk construction method. Use Midas Gen 8.0 software to calculate and analyze the whole structure of the grid construction, simulate the construction process, calculate the rod deflection and stress values, the calculated results meet the regulatory requirements. This paper provide some reference for future similar projects.
