Abstract: In this article provides a reasoned justification for the use of weatherproof membranes from fiberglass in double skin facades according to the criteria for optimum design of heat and humidity regime. The experiment of membranes' flammability was carried out. The article presents the results of the membrane’s effect on the flow into double skin facades.

Abstract: There are exposed the results of resistance testing on effects of fire in interfloor construction and wall panel made according to “plastbau” system technology out of expandable polystyrene, when they are protected by mortar extension as an insulator. The applied testing method is prescribed by standard form EN 13501-2. Based on testing results, there is affirmed that interfloor construction fulfills resistance criteria on effects of fire of 180 min, and wall panel fulfills resistance criteria on effects of fire of 60 min, when it is protected by mortar extension as an insulator..

Abstract: Construction industry is an influential element of Russian economy. It is well known that the main objective of construction for a builder is receiving profit in the form of a difference between the received investment contributions and size of construction cost. Therefore maximum efficiency from implementation of a project will be received by a builder who will carry out construction of the most investment-attractiveness object.Investors do not use certain formalized analytical tools for assessment of situation in regions where a construction object can be potentially placed in most cases. Frequently, investors make the decision on building placement, which based on subjective representation about investment-attractiveness of specific region. The goal of this research is analysis of investment-attractiveness of high-rise building with building site in case of placement in different regions of Russian Federation according to method of A.L. Kaminskiy, including additional unique characteristics of the object.

Abstract: With the aim of planning preventive measures of seismic protection, estimation of possible damages on building constructions plays an important role. In order to predict the category of damage , a data base was formed out of the data from reports submitted by the commission of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. The paper presents the research on the influence of the number and structure of input data and the comparative results of prediction of damage category on building constructions for two models of ANN (ANN-1 and ANN-2)

Abstract: In contemporary construction practice is increasingly being applied flexible retaining structures of mechanically stabilized earth, gabions and precast elements. Although widely used only recently, their benefits are proven and widely accepted. The first part of the paper provides an overview of the possible ways of using of precast elements in the construction of retaining walls. The second part gives a detailed overview of the experimental testing of stability of retaining walls of prefabricated betonblok elements. The effect of static loads on the wall was examined in the first, and the effect of the dynamic loads in the second experiment. The results are analyzed and recommendations for future research are given.

Abstract: The article regards the problems arising in building the underground structures and, in particular, escalator tunnels under the built-up areas. In case of a thick mass of weak water-saturated soil such tunnels are frequently made with the use of freezing method. The purpose of this article consists in evaluating influence of the established and degrading ice structures on soils deformations and objects contacting with them. It is offered to assess this influence using the finite elements method contemplating a consecutive solution of temperature tasks and the tasks of stress and strain state of soil in time in 3D erection. The article describes briefly the formula part and specific features of calculating temperatures and deformations of soils. By way of example a calculation of defrosting deformations around an inclined tunnel for one of the deep-laid subway stations in Saint-Petersburg has been made. The data of performed calculation are closely approximated to the full-scale measurements.

Abstract: Shows the proposed method for the calculation of mirroring duhaney retaining wall. This method is through the use of multiple design schemes can more accurately determine the lateral pressure on the wall, given compliance supports. In this case, the bending moment diagram in the wall and supports efforts depend on the variable diagrams of lateral pressure on the wall associated with the position of the line relative to its elastic neutral axis. Given the uncertainty about the quantities displacement of supports, it is proposed to take into account the upper limit of the voltage equal to the appearance of the yield plateau in the anchor rod. In this case, the plastic yielding of the anchor rod to limit effort in it, due to the redistribution of stresses to the other rod. Practical recommendations for the optimal production of works in the construction of continuous dvuhankerny walls.

Abstract: The article discusses the causes of discrepancies in the values of the pile load capacity based on the results of calculations made on the basis of existing regulations and the pile load capacity after static load test on the construction site. A brief overview of the causes of discrepancies in analytical and practical values of pile load capacity is provided in the article. The possible ways to solve this problem are suggested, namely, the development of the methods of analytical calculations of pile load capacity and the improvement of embedding technical processes. There is an example of such a discrepancy in the construction of a residential complex in Saint-Petersburg presented in the article. It was found that the variation in the results is not caused by the imperfections in the method of calculations, but by the infringements of construction technology. The article provides recommendations to minimize the discrepancies between the calculated and actual values of pile load capacity.

Abstract: This article presents the accuracy of foundation calculation of slab-use SCAD model using finite rigidity linkages. Two design schemes contain foundation on pile is considered in plane elastic problem. The analysis of obtained stress values in the foundation allows to make a conclusion on the calculation accuracy in pile models using finite rigidity linkages and the feasibility of such a simplification of the calculation of pile foundations.
