Abstract: Physical explosion model is applied in a certain carbon steel vertical water tube boiler explosion analysis, all the safety accessories and records have been damaged and no data related with before explosion could be found. Boiler energy and operation pressure before explosion was estimated by the measurement of cast pieces. Hurt radius calculated by TNT equivalent method is in accordance with on site measuring, which proves that TNT equivalent method is applicable in carbon steel boiler explosion analysis.

Abstract: Reduction of diesel engine emissions is now getting more and more focuses from automobile manufacturers as the legalization is becoming stricter. In this paper we use AVL FIRE to simulate and analyze the influence of ω-type combustion chamber shapes on raw emissions of a diesel engine. We get the conclusion that the trend of original exhausts, NOx and soot, decreases without power loss with the ratio TDD of throat diameter and depth of the chamber reducing. And considering the original emission control technologies of the experiment engine, a smaller ratio TDD will contribute to better emission.

Abstract: Due to pipe-laying process changed for Offshore Oil 201 pipelay vessel requires to place sand blasting machine equipment in suite place, to meet the sand-blasting machine to complete the process of laying pipe work cycle which demands for subsea pipelines sandblasting, then the sand-blasting lifting equipment was designed. The equipment consists of a hydraulic lifting platform system, rail trolley system and control system. The experiments showed that the sand-blasting lifting equipment could securely connect with sand-blasting machine, the sand-blasting machine could be lift fast, installation fast in the suite place, meeting the production requirements.

Abstract: Based on typical parts CNC machining technology solutions, using the inverted spindle, high-capacity storage automatic loading and unloading of the workpiece conveyor systems, temperature tracking control system, ladder-shaped bed base and other new technologies. A milling-turning flexible machining cell was researched and developed, which means once the piece was fixed, all the procedures, including turning, milling, drilling, reaming, tapping and other processes integrated processing, can be completed. As an advanced manufacturing mode, it was suitable for the efficient processing of short-sleeve-type parts, panel parts, etc.

Abstract: Currently, there is an absence of underwater monitoring device in marine ranching area. the traditional submersible generally use screw propeller as its power equipment, but it lacked the rapid response, short turning radius and so on. Recently some bionic propulsion methods have emerged, which partly solved the problems above but still fail to meet the demanded properties. We used shape memory alloy combined with the design of robot fin to increase the flexibility, add the degree of freedom and higher the efficiency of the biomimetic flexible fish fin propeller.

Abstract: Brake problem for a small multi-function chassis of southwest hilly region, design a set brake device, especially suitable for walking speed slow small crawler chassis. The braking device has the advantages of simple and compact structure, light weight, convenient, simple and flexible operate, reasonable use spaces etc. . Through the braking test, proved that the brake braking performance is good, fully meet the requirements of the agricultural machinery braking performance.

Abstract: For the needs of current growers, a multifunctional and continuous rotary bowl machine had been designed. The automatic bowl making technical scheme had been developed. The host structure and related parameters had been designed. The each part of the virtual prototyping was modeled and assembled by Pro/Engineer software. While simple in structure, the machine is highly efficient in bowl making and low in the damage rate. It can be widely used in the production of the required nutritional bowls including the fruits, flowers, corn and other crops etc.

Abstract: When the frame shield support was applied in the fully mechanized driving process of the seam gateway, there would be some incongruous problems. Aimed at the problems, mainly was discordance between the fully mechanized driving and the gateway support, we put forward the requirements of the multi-function platform and made the design scheme clear. By applying the finite element software, the simulation of the dynamics response was conducted on the multi-function platform. On this basis, an analysis was conducted on the stress of each loading part, the simulation results and mechanics calculations have shown the design of the multifunction platform could fully meet each technical index. The on-site applications have revealed that the platforms match with the fully mechanized driving machinery rationally; provide a safety standing basis for the construction of the frame shield support. Further, the platform has improved the mechanization of the frame shield support and increased the support operation efficiency.

Abstract: This paper introduced the structure and working principle of the vertical sharft impact crusher. The determation of its main parameters is investigated in the first place.Design program and practical application of its key components is then described in detail.On the basis of above work,3D digital model of this crusher is also built up by using Siemens NX 7.0, which improves the design quality and efficiency.

Abstract: Steering mechanism is an important part of car driving system and the lock force is a key parameter to protect driver in the case of a frontal impact. But it is difficult to predict the range of lock force during impact since the material properties and friction of the system are variable in a certain range. Based on polynomial chaos expansion (PCE) and monomial cubature rules (MCRs), an efficient robust design method is presented to predict the lock force of a steering mechanism and select appropriate parameters for structure design. The advantage of the method is to reduce the intensive computational demand of uncertainty propagation by construction of PCE using points of MCRs, and the accuracy is enough for engineering problems.
