Abstract: Constructing backbone grid is important means of carrying out differential planning to improve power system’s ability of resisting natural disasters. A searching method of core backbone grid with the target of the smallest total lines and nodes and the largest integrated survivability index based on the index system of survivability was put forward with constraint conditions of network connectivity and power grid’s safe operation. The biogeography-based optimization algorithm was introduced to search for the optimal core backbone grid. Compared with particle swarm optimization (PSO), binary ant colony algorithm (BACA), genetic algorithm (GA), the proposed method is accurate and effective, and it has the merits of better convergence speed and convergence precision.

Abstract: Power load consists of four components according to the law of its variation, normal load, weather-sensitive load, special-events load, random load, and we can separate the air conditioning load from power load. Then by fitting the relationship between meteorological factors and air-conditioning power consumption, can we grasp the effect of meteorology factors on power load in high-temperature seasons.

Abstract: This paper combined with the real conditions on investment and decision-making of grid construction. Considering the uncertainty of project, we applies real option theory into evaluation model of grid construction and establishes evaluation model of grid construction based on real option theory. The result indicates that proper application of real option method into the investment decision-making model of grid construction can better enable grid to obtain profit from investment uncertainty, which provides larger profit and opportunity for grid corporation.

Abstract: As a main way of electric power equipment procurement, scientific and operational comprehensive assessing index system are essential for successful tendering and bidding. The background and significance of tendering procurement for electric power equipment are introduced in this paper. Aiming at the practice of tendering and bidding procurement, the model of selection of bidding scheme is set up based on value engineering. Empirical analysis of tendering procurement for coal mining machine and atomizing pump proved the feasibility of value engineering analysis in tendering and bidding.

Abstract: With the construction of power grid, operation safety risk in the power supply enterprises is to increase ceaselessly. Corporate managers need to solve the problem how to carry out the operations safety risk management. This paper analyses production operation risk management status of power supply enterprises, describes the content and process of production operation risk management, and then expounds how to achieve information management of production operation risk by establishing production operation risk management and control system of information management. Finally, construction ideas of the system is proposed in the terms of design principles, deployment way and functional design.

Abstract: In this paper, a new approach to emergency management systems supply. Method aims to increase the reliability of power supply to consumers. The mathematical model of assessing the impact of distributed generation sources (DP) to improve the reliability of power supply, as an algorithm to find the optimal combination of DG used genetic algorithm. The results of experimental calculations and comparative analysis of the algorithm is show.

Abstract: This paper observes the impact of distributed generation (DG) on the durability and depreciation costs for operation of power transformers. A mathematical model for calculating of change in depreciation charges and results of experimental calculations are given. Various mechanisms for the use of the obtained criterion are proposed.

Abstract: A procedure of estimation of the non-regular component of a power consumption schedule is described in this paper. A value of the non-regular component enables to evaluate the minimal error of daily-ahead power consumption forecast based on regression mathematical models. Evaluating calculations are given by the example of 10 regional power systems of Russia.

Abstract: With the continuous development of electric power construction and electricity market reform, power grid investment are facing more and more uncertainties. As to the Key Project investment evaluation for grid, single stage evaluation model is too simple to make an appropriate decision, which overlooked the option value of the investment project. Therefore, in view of the periodical characteristics of investment decision-making process of the grid company’s key project, this article based on the real option analysis methods, and divide the power grid’s key projects into multiple stage according to time sequence, to evaluate each stage’s option value, and to determine the overall value of the grid company’s key investment projects, which has also provided an new train of thought for the assessment of risk investment projects.

Abstract: Ignition temperature is an important parameter in fuel combustion characteristics research. In this paper, tradition ignition temperature determination methods and their application limitations were discussed by analyzing the DTA curve. All discussions were demonstrated in sweet sorghum fermentation residue particles combustion test. As commonly-used methods were totally established with no consideration of thermal analyzing, the calculating value error were obvious. Taking account detected time tk (uV>0) and delay time() in DTG (derivative thermogravimetry)-DTA (differential thermal analyses) profile, DTG-DTA delay time method was established in this paper. The calculated values comparison has been performed between new method and TG-DTG dividing point method,the latter was recognized as the most accurate method. It was showed that new method has almost the same ignition temperature to that of TG-DTG dividing point method. While new method needs only half workloads of TG-DTG diving point method. The physical conception of new method is clear and corresponded ignition temperature is accurate. Therefore, new method is suitable for biomass ignition temperature determination.
