Abstract: The three commonly used remote sensing land surface temperature retrieval methods are described, namely single-window algorithm, split window algorithm and multi-channel algorithm, which have their advantages and disadvantages. The land surface temperature (LST) of study area was retrieved with multi-source remote sensing data. LST of study area was retrieved with the split window algorithm on January 10, 2003 and November 19, 2003 which is comparatively analyzed with the LST result of ETM+ data with the single-window algorithm and the LST result of ASTER data with multi channel algorithm in the same period. The results show that land surface temperature of different land features are significantly different, where the surface temperature of urban land is the highest, and that of rivers and lakes is the lowest, followed by woodland. It is concluded that the expansion of urban green space and protection of urban water can prevent or diminish the urban heat island.

Abstract: The design and establishment consolidated supervision database system of land and resources, based on Oracle – relational database software and ArcSDE – spatial data engine, is proposed in this paper. The database system is constructed by integrating current database and creating specific database that include ordinary management business for land and resources. It is proved in the daily management for land and resources that the consolidated supervision database system significantly improves the management efficiency and the level of data sharing.

Abstract: DigiEcoCity is an ideal city model which combines the concept of sustainable development, new technologies of digital revolution and functions that needed for creating a better life, and is the direction of the future development of low carbon city. This paper described planning concept and planning overview of Gongqing digital Eco-city, emphasized the application of Digital & ecological concept. Gongqing city has made active exploration on construction and planning model of DigiEcoCity, and aims to be a good example of the digital Eco-city in the future.

Abstract: Suitability evaluation is the important basis for scientifically determining the direction of land reclamation. This paper deeply elaborates the goal of land reclamation and the principles of suitability evaluation. land reclamation direction of the project area is initially determines to be cultivated land, forest land, grassland and garden plot based on region land-use planning and analysis of natural factors, socio-economic factors, policy factors of the mining area; the evaluation index system including five involved factors is constructed, and the suitability evaluation of evaluation units is carried out by the comprehensive index method and extreme conditions. Based on above-mentioned evaluation, the land reclamation direction of 14 evaluation units are ultimately determined by comprehensive analysis of the local natural conditions, social conditions and so on.

Abstract: Applying ecological footprint model to calculate the ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity of Dongying ,a typical oil city between the year 2005-2009,the results showed that ecological footprint was deficit in recent years, and the trend had been exacerbated. The economic development of Dongying was in an ecologically unsustainable condition. Measures are put forward to facilitate the sustainable development in two aspects: the reduction of the ecological footprint demand such as industrial structure adjustment, low carbon industry system construction and green life pattern formation; the increase of ecological carrying capacity supply, such as rationally utilizing land and making full use of marine resources.

Abstract: Using China National Knowledge Infrastructure as the retrieve source, research papers of villages overlapping coal resources in recent 48 years are analyzed from the aspects of time distribution, periodical distribution, topic distribution etc. Then the content of research literature is analyzed qualitatively and the research progress is revealed. The results show that: The total amount of literature is less, the gross number is only 331; Besides core journals, the ordinary journals occupies the large proportion among the journals on which the research papers published; It can generally be divided into two research themes, that is coal mining technology under villages and relocation of village overlapping coal resources. Compared with the first, the study of village relocation is weak, and much more study is in a shallow level; The research subject is single, and the technical personnel and workers at the basic level of coal enterprises occupy a large proportion. Although the village relocation involves a lot of land issues, the research of land scholars on this field is not much. To strengthen and broaden the research of relocation of villages overlapping coal resources is the trend of future research in this field. Comprehensive and quantitative research from the land, management, ecology, environment and other multi angle, multi domain, multi discipline should be conducted.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to grasp the distribution characteristics of arable land quality. Methods employed are system analysis method and spatial analysis function of ArcGIS. The results show that the arable land quality is relatively higher compared to the national level. Differences of arable land grade were significant among different agricultural grading zones. The arable land grade of Han River plain area is the highest. The grades of irrigable land and paddy field are higher than dry land, and the irrigable land is the highest. Topography, soil, irrigation conditions, population density, economic development level are the main factors causing the difference of arable land grade spatial distribution. The research can provide a scientific basis for policies and measures making about arable land quality protection and grade improvement.

Abstract: The demarcation of basic farmland scientifically is important to cultivated land protection, agriculture-economy development, and regional sustainable development. This paper took Fogang County as an example, calculated the amount of basic farmland protection and exclusion and then quantified the addition amount; established the evaluation system of farmland; used Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and entropy method to determine the index weights; prioritized the selected cultivated land using GIS and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS); and then combined with the addition amount to optimize the basic farmland spatially. The study result proved that the demarcate method of basic farmland was feasible, and can provide scientific and technological support for basic farmland planning.

Abstract: Reservoir immersion is one of the environmental geological problems in the construction of Yanqing new town. In this paper, the geological environment in Yanqing area was decribed, the causes of the immersion were analyzed, the immersion degree evaluation was determined according to the measured data, and the reservoir immersion range was predicted using groundwater dynamics, which provide the basis for the construction of Yanqing new town and disaster prevention and mitigation.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of the healthy connotation of green-travel and the impact of environment on the travel mode, the paper researches the relationship between the healthy community and the green travel and sparkplugs the planning of the green travel oriented healthy community. Additionally, it discusses the method how to lead healthy travel, optimize healthy behavior and improve healthy consciousness from four points of elements analysis, spatial layout, green-travel system construction and policy support.
