Abstract: With the rapid economic development, long-term and sustainable growth of material life and indoor design, people’s non-material and spiritual need of indoor design cannot be satisfied simply from the perspective of physical function and visual or aesthetic standards. Based on the people-oriented concept as the core, this paper proposes a new sustainability thinking marked with the combination between" Human, Nature and Technology". By presenting the definition of sustainability thinking, analyzing and studying the functional design system and the natural environment design system which emphasize the integration between human and technology under the systematic thinking of indoor design, and combining with some cases, the author summarizes the application of energy-saving thinking, low-carbon thinking , and environmental protection thinking in the design of the indoor environment and in the high technology under the guidance of sustainability thinking, aiming at building a correct sustainability thinking of indoor environment design and exerting a strong, meaningful and practical influence on people to create an environmentally-friendly life

Abstract: In post-Kyoto Protocol times, forest carbon-sink has become one of the key path choices to realize clean development for coal mining area to govern ecological environmental pollution. In practice, big challenge is to set up effective and systematic government policies for forest carbon-sink in coal mines. For China, it is just at beginning in policies. Currently, China’s forest carbon-sink policies for coal mines ought to be set up in terms of industry, finance and law.

Abstract: Carbon accounting was carried out using Volume-Biomass Method based on field survey data from four urban parks of Dongguan. The results are as follows: 1) Shuilianshan Park (SLS) and Tongsha Park (TS) are sparsely covered with large trees, while Dapingzhang Forest Park (DPZ) and Huangqishan Park (HQS) are abundant with dense but small arbors. 2) Elaeocarpus apiculatus and Khaya senegalensis are the two major trees grown in Tongsha Park, which is located in urban core of Dongguan. A lot of individuals of Litsea glutinosa and Microcos paniculata occur in Huangqishan Park and Shuilianshan Park in the suburb, while many Acacia magium and Lithocarpus glaber trees have been planted in Dapingzhang Forest Park. 3) Carbon density and biomass density for the parks are in the following order: SLS > HQS > TS > DPZ, which reflects the gradient of rapid urbanization. Carbon sink of urban forest was affected by land-use and land-cover change, vegetation types and stand ages, reforestation, and forest management.

Abstract: With concern about the influence from hazardous emissions of marine diesel engine using fuel oil as fuel and international convention on marine diesel engine emission regulations, the new technology developments of foreign marine dual fuel diesel engines and their latest progresses are introduced, and the development trend of dual fuel diesel engine applications on ship demonstrated. The using problems of the marine dual fuel diesel engine in China are researched with an analysis and prospect of action and reaction in China.

Abstract: Based on four categories of indexes including intensity indexes, system indexes, supporting indexes and characteristic indexes, this paper combines with actual characteristics of Chinese ports, discusses about and builds a green and low-carbon port evaluation index system, and puts forward a set of simple and practical evaluation methods and standards. With case study of Guangzhou Port, this paper also conducts empirical evaluation of current development level in 2013 and planning level in 2020 respectively, and verifies scientific validity of the index system.

Abstract: Energy consumption is the major source of industrial carbon emissions. Energy consumption carbon emission factor method and LMDI (Logarithmic Mean Divisia Index) method was used to analyze the carbon emission evolution of industrial economy energy consumption in Jiangsu Province with collected data on industrial energy consumption in 1995-2012. Results showed that Jiangsu province economic industrial carbon emissions keep increasing in 1995-2012 years. The results of carbon emission increase analysis of energy consumption structure effects, industrial energy consumption intensity effects and output scale effects in 1999-2012 showed that energy consumption intensity effect has the maximum contribution to carbon emissions in industrial carbon emissions Jiangsu Province. Therefore, the main way to control carbon emissions of industrial energy consumption in Jiangsu Province is reasonably control the growth of energy consumption.
