Abstract: At present, that is the inevitable requirement of sustainable development and the construction of ecological civilization society, to keep comprehensive land use benefits increasing. Based on the relevant research, combined with the Wuhan city land utilization state and the status of land use, this paper establish two kinds of index system which are socio-economic benefit and eco-environmental benefit, in the balance of comprehensive benefit of land output angle. And this paper also uses the principal component analysis to analyze the land use socio-economic benefits and eco-environmental benefits of Wuhan city, with quantitative model. The result shows that: during the period of 1996~2010, the socio-economic benefits and eco-environmental benefits of Wuhan city land use are on the rise, but the fluctuation characteristics are quite different. At the end, this paper put forward some policy proposals to promote the development sustainable utilization of land resources and to realize the best benefit of Wuhan City land-use in the field of technique, management and utilization.

Abstract: By fieldwork, this paper analyzed the distribution feature of soil particles and its mechanism on the platform gardern in South Fujian, the results showed that the deeper to the earth, the bigger the soil particles were, and the soil particles became bigger with the surface became higher and steeper, style of cultivation and plants had close relation with the soil particles size at the same time. Applying organic fertilizer and taking reasonable land use pattern are presented to improve the soil particle structure and rural urbanization finally.

Abstract: Study on the rationality of marine economy and coastal comprehensive competitiveness, is one of the fundamental theoretical problems co-ordination of land and sea. In order to evaluate the comprehensive competitiveness of coastal areas based on gray system model, calculated correlation and trends between economic development and integrated coastal ocean competitiveness. The result shows that there is a strong correlation between marine economy and inland comprehensive competitiveness in China. And the correlation presents an increasing trend. Marine economy is highly depending on inland economy social development. To achieve sustainable development, extended to the advantage of relying on the sea should be given full play to realize interactive development between marine system and inland system. The conclusions could provide a reference for the policies and plans to develop coastal economic development and marine economic.

Abstract: Calabria region (Southern Italy) has become the nerve center of historical events, decisive for the Mediterranean sea destiny, because of its geographical position, its centrality in the Mediterranean area, the peculiarities of the district and the wealth of natural resources. The effects of its role in the Mediterranean history are still visible in its natural, urban and social structure, thus giving the region a large number of cultural and environmental values, which find root in the three preceding millennia. The paper, starting from the most historic routes that have affected the Calabrian coast, aims to highlight the one that has the greatest impact on the culture of the region trying to figure out if it is possible to identify, protect and promote a cultural route according to the ICOMOS Charter of Cultural Routes criteria, devised by the ICOMOS’ international Scientific Committee of Cultural Routes (CIIC) and ratified by the 16th General Assembly of ICOMOS, in Quebec (Canada), October 4, 2008.

Abstract: This paper studied the present situation of urbanization in Jilin province, and focused on the ecological environment problems in the process of urbanization, such as the low resource utilization efficiency, serious degradation of grass land and wetland, soil erosion, land desertification, non-point source pollution of agriculture. It is considered the small absorption capacity of environment, insufficient ecological environment construction investment, unreasonable ecological environment construction management system, acute structural environment pollution and the low population quality resulted in the above problems, and it is advisable to promote green urbanization by taking green reform-driven mode, green regulation-driven mode, green industry-guide mode and green lifestyle-led mode.

Abstract: Outdoor thermal environment in urban spaces is important for people to enjoy the urban environment. This paper investigated the effect of urban design on outdoor thermal environment in an urban street in the central business district in Singapore, focusing on street orientation and height-to-width ratio. The microclimatic parameters of different street design scenarios were determined by ENVI-met numerical simulation. Field measurement was conducted to validate the results from the numerical simulation and they were in good agreement. For different design scenarios, it is found that (1) The air temperature differences did not exceed 0.8°C; (2) The mean radiant temperature differences could exceed 40°C; (3) The maximum wind speed difference was 0.6 m/s; (4) No distinct relative humidity differences could be found. The results show that shading is the key strategy for improving outdoor thermal environment in Singapore because it leads to reduction on the air temperature and mean radiant temperature simultaneously. N-S orientated street had the best thermal environment condition.Outdoor thermal environment in urban spaces is important for people to enjoy the urban environment.
