Abstract: Basedon the present situation of the domestic comprehensive tunneling temporary supporting technology, machine support and temporary support device is researched. This paper is on the basis of the previous design simple optimization.The design enhances temporary support level and improves its ability to support for a long time, in some extent, increases the strength of roof support. The optimization is described in detail.By adding a hydraulic cylinder,it can make each lever own supporting ability and ensure support stability. Organizationstructure and three dimensional graphics are drawn in the paper.The force analysis is carried. Finally appropriate position is determined.

Abstract: Dynamic compaction is one of the densification techniques of ground improvement and extensive theoretical, experimental and in-situ tests have been used to clarify its mechanism. In this paper, a literature review about the dynamic compaction is carried out and the emphasis is put on the reinforcement mechanism, effective reinforcement depth and influence range of vibration to give a reference for the ongoing researches of dynamic compaction method.

Abstract: The University of Nottingham's wooden framed laboratory, designed to be carbon neutral, was wrecked by the blaze on 12 September. The fire resistance of timber structure is concerned by all the researchers again. Firstly, this paper summarizes characters of timber structures; Secondly, the ordinances of different countries are compared; lastly, the fire resistance of timber material is proposed.

Abstract: The cost and benefits have been analyzed of applying SM570 steel to tall buildings in Taiwan. In detail, two 40-story steel buildings are designed for the Taipei Microzonation II. One building has SN490B steel columns. The other also uses SM570 steel for the 1st -to- 14th -story columns. The stress ratios and story drift ratios are limited to 0.9 and 0.005, respectively. The drift demands are then evaluated by using nonlinear time history analyses with 14 sets of ground motions scaled to the intensity for the return periods of 475 and 2500 years. By FEMA 356, the building fragility is further assessed using the drift ratios of 2.5% and 5% for life safety and collapse prevention. It is concluded that the use of SM570 steel saves 140 tons steel in total, approximately 3%. That also reduces the seismic drift demands of the building, greatly decreasing the failure probability against earthquake collapse.

Abstract: Adoptingcomposite materials is the most commonly used method for noise control. Thispaper deals with the analysis of the sound absorption property ofcomposite materials. A multilayer composite plate with five layersis analyzed in ANSYS. A Fluid-structure coupled finite element model isestablished with air as the fluid backing. By solving the finite elementequations, the characteristic of the material transmission losses in low andhigh frequencies is obtained. Moreover, the influences of the material parametersinclude density and Young's modulus on the transmission losses are analyzedwhich can provide basis for the design of the absorption composite materials.

Abstract: In order to extract information of the Mathematical simulation model for the references of land useplanning decision, it analyzed the land use characteristics in shaoyang district of hunan province, then extracted cultivated land, construction land and rural residential land. Typical relation analysis method and spatial gridding Logistic regression analysis method were used to made quantitative analysis of these three types of driving forces and obtain the main influential driving forces for each land use.The results showed that it can provide scientific support for the formulation of the relevant policies ,the fitting degree of the spatial simulation was rather high(f construction land, rural residential land and cultivated land was 79.45%, 89.35%, 95.35% ), it showed that the model can provide theoretical foundation for the regulation of land-use behavior,also help promote efficient for land use fundamentally.

Abstract: CIn order to build gray level co-occurrence matrix suitable to natural texture, a method based on separable criterion was proposed. Combined correlation matrix of feature parameters with character of natural texture, 5 independent feature parameters are extracted from 11 feature parameters of gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM). Building factors of GLCM, which is appropriate to describe wood texture, are confirmed by using the separable criterion, when d equals to 2 and g equals to 16.
