Determining the True Strength of the Material of Fiberglass Thick Rings when Stretched with Half-Disks

Article Preview

Abstract:

The article presents the results of a study of elastic-strength properties of unidirectional rings of fiberglass in tension them with half-disks at a variation in a wide range of diameter and thickness of the rings. The analysis of the results clarified the mechanisms of destruction fibreglasses and the possibility of expanding the application of the method.
