Abstract: By analyzing two old forms of hydraulic winch test benches (Traditional hydraulic winch test bench and throttling hydraulic winch test bench), the new hydraulic winch test bench applies a new energy recycle technology and avoids enormous energy consumption. For the new test bench, this paper gives the definition of energy saving rate, which is generally used to measure the effect on saving system energy. It also analyzes the working principles of the new test bench’s obverse processes. The displacement of the loading pump should adapt to the change of the diameter ratio of the main drum and the auxiliary drum, so we use one loading pump and limit its displacement to realize energy recycle. Furthermore, the new test bench’s experiment is carried out to evaluate the efficiency of this test bench’s energy saving rate. The average energy saving rate is 57.88% from test, and this test bench realizes energy recycle.

Abstract: Hydraulic transmission system controls hydraulic cylinder forward and backward movement freely, in order to achieve high density hydraulic baler work circulation. Creep test required hydraulic system to output constant stress, and study creep tests can not be completed when used succeeding the electrical contact style in the past time. The system used programmable logic controller (PLC) to instead of succeeding the electrical contact style and realized freely forward and backward movement of hydraulic cylinder, electro-hydraulic proportional relief valve can adjust hydraulic system and make it stepless pressure regulation and then degree of automation and reliability in hydraulic control system to be improved. This paper introduces aspects: including the selection, hardware configuration and program of PLC, meanwhile, giving specific realization method. Through the control system to study creep test in hydraulic baler, adopting the National Instrument (NI) company's multi-channel data acquisition card, which type is USB-6251,applying Labview8.2 to write data acquisition program on my own, the versatility and flexibility of system was verified, which was able to complete creep test successfully.

Abstract: The static stiffness characteristic of parallel machine tool is an important factor and reference for machine design and optimization. The static stiffness characteristic of 3-TPT parallel machine tool is researched in this paper. The structural analytical model of machine tool is built by ANSYS software, which has two different work positions and three kinds of different workloads. The details of analytical process and method are provided, and the deformation conditions and the laws of stiffness variation are got. The main factors of static stiffness are obtained, so it provides an important reference for modifying structure of machine tool and relative research.

Abstract: In the process of lead-electrolysis, when we take off the cathode lead plate from electrolyte, we should take out the cathode collector bar. Next cathode lead plate will be melted and make into ingot. The cathode collector bar can be used next time. The design is a new kind of appliance of taking out the cathode collector bar. The appliance, which limits the cathode plate horizontally, uses the way of single taking out. It is proved that this way is steady and efficient.

Abstract: The Malaysian small to medium enterprises (SMEs) market has big influences in the business world which is becoming more competitive. Therefore, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as a functional unit integrated system is needed to streamline the business processes to achieve greater work efficiency. However, an in depth understanding about ERP system is needed to ensure the successful system implementation. This paper seeks to explore the challenges of ERP system implementation in order to deepen the knowledge on ERP system implementation in SMEs. The research method is based on a single-case design within Malaysian SME to obtain a process model of ERP system implementation adoption by SMEs. The conceptual framework for ERP system implementation, which was validated by a number of SMEs in Malaysia, is proposed in order to attempt the minimize ERP project failure in SMEs.

Abstract: While a country expands its industrial base in meeting the challenges of the new millennium, the importance of the small and medium industries will become more significant. This study aims to review the implementation of benchmarking methodology in small and medium enterprises for highlighting their needs and challenges. The findings of the review reveal that although benchmarking allows the SMEs to improve their operational and financial performance, few entrepreneurs turn to benchmarking, due to lack of time and resources. Moreover, it was found that the use of cluster approach among SMEs could be a useful tool for meeting their challenges related to globalization. The paper indicates that innovation implementation principles in large organizations are not directly transferable to SMEs and a specific framework, which suits the SMEs structures, processes, resources and culture is needed.

Abstract: For coping with the challenge of the highly dynamic and stochastic semiconductor manufacturing environment, a component based reconfigurable scheduling (CBRS) system is presented. CBRS system has two types of components: simple components and compounded components which have encapsulated the common scheduling methods such as rescheduling methods, real-time dispatching rules and optimization algorithms. These components are stationed on different scheduling layers: medium-term plan layer, optimization layer and real-time dispatching layer. And some of these components can be used together to create some more practical and feasible scheduling solutions to handle different shop floor operational scenarios. This paper has described the system structure and the function of different types of components. And finally with instance, the feasibility of component based scheduling system is indicated.

Abstract: The informationization of mold making enterprises have always been the industrial focus, however, few of information integration solutions can solve the problems efficiently. Promoted by demands of industrial developments and the newest information technology, enterprises integration shifted rapidly from information integration to process integration for the preeminent performance exhibiting in the real production process. The paper conducts many studies on the typical four business processes of mold industry, then proposes the process integration architecture of mold making enterprises based on BPM. Meanwhile, the paper comes up with a modeling method based on BPMN, which can demonstrate the process integration visually and efficiently, the architecture also combines BPEL with JPDL to fulfill the integration operation, BPEL mainly taking charge of automatic integration and JPDL with responsibility for human-involved integration of processes. Furthermore, monitoring solution based on BAM is brought forward, it is able to provide exact real-time monitoring and information feedback of processes with the help of Rules Engine. The architecture can greatly enhance the information sharing and automation of business processes, finally bring more benefits to the mold industry.

Abstract: Providing customization product with reasonable cost for customers is one of keys for enterprise to gain competition advantage, customized product’ cost depends on customization level and postponement strategy under supply chain. As to a kind of customization product consisting of multi modules with different customer order decoupling point(CODP), this paper builds a class push/pull supply chain pattern by combining postponement with the supply chain based on analyzing customized product’s logistics / production process and customers demand transfer process, and presents a customization cost structural model. The impact of different customization degree and postponement realization form on customized product’ holding cost and total cost is also analyzed respectively. This analysis and calculation of total cost through an algorithm are helpful to find the appropriate customization degree and the reasonable postponement strategy. At last, an illustrative example is given.

Abstract: The quality of the semiconductor products is defined by a series of the key performance parameters which have some certain relations to the electronic test parameters generated among the multiple manufacturing processes. Aimed at the quality control problem of the multiple manufacturing processes, a FDA (functional data analysis) method has been used and got the mapping relationship between the process parameters of the product lines and the product quality characteristic. A simple Change-Point hypothesis has been tested to analyze the data curves generated by the FDA method, and the key process variables have been found. Then, the equalization between the new test result and the old one has been verified by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov 2-sample test method. Some multiple manufacturing processes test data, which was collected from a semiconductor product workshop, has been modeled and analyzed. And the analysis results can illustrate the key factors of the process quality control in the multiple manufacturing processes and approach the reduction of the test times and the improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the equipment.
