Abstract: A new photochromic compound 1-[2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl]-2-[2-methyl-5-pyridine-3-yl-3-thieyl] perfluoroyclopentene(1a) was synthesized, its photochromic properties were examined, the result indicated that the color of the compound 1a changed from colorless to a purple one upon irradiation with 297 nm UV light, a new absorption maxima were observed at 549 and 553 nm in hexane and PMMA film, respectively. The the photochromic reaction kinetics indicated that the cyclization processes of 1 belong to the zeroth order reaction and the cycloreversion process belong to the first order reaction.This new photochromic system also exhibited remarkable optical storage character.

Abstract: Under the excitation of large earthquake, structures enter into high nonlinear stage. Currently, Opensees, Perform-3d and Canny are used as the most popular nonlinear analysis procedures. The fiber model will be introduced firstly and the nonlinear analysis models in Canny are explained in detail. Then Canny2007 is used to conduct nonlinear time history analysis on a heavily damaged frame structure with interlayer in Dujiangyan during Wenchuan Earthquake. Analysis shows that the maximum inter-story drift appears between the interlayer and its upper layer, and the heavy damage agrees well with the results of damage investigation. By comparing the damage extent of frame structures with or without interlayer, it reveals that the seismic performance of RC frame structures without interlayer is obviously better than that of ones with interlayer.

Abstract: : In order to investigate the effect of ignition advance angle and LPG injecting methods on an LPG engine performance, three methods of injecting LPG were tested on an LPG engine. The injection methods were gaseous phase LPG injection at intake port, liquid phase LPG injection at intake port, and liquid phase LPG in-cylinder direct injection. The maximum torque developed with liquid phase LPG engine direct injection, was 12.6% higher than gaseous phase LPG injection at inlet port. The ignition advance angle clearly affected LPG engine torque and emissions. The optimum ignition advance angle for LPG engine torque was about 26º CA. The LPG engine emitted many HC and CO emissions when the ignition advance angle increased greatly.

Abstract: ACF/CNT composites were fabricated with carbon nanotubes (CNTs) growing on the surface of activated carbon fibers (ACFs) by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The properties of ACF/CNT composites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and BET surface area measurements. In addition, experiments were carried out to investigate effect of contact time, pH and temperature on ACF/CNT composites adsorption ability for rhodamine B from aqueous solution. The results show removal rate of rhodamine B reaches to 98.99% at 120 min as initial concentration of rhodamine B is 5 mg/L, pH is 7 and temperature is 50 . Adsorption mechanism of ACF/CNT composites is simply discussed.

Abstract: Laser detecting technology can be utilized to the product surface detection for finding the surface deficiency. However, the improving resolving power of laser detecting system is limited by the laser footprint size on the product surface. Employing only echo delay and intensity information, the information of the surface inside the footprint is difficult to be obtained for the echo signal of the objects maybe is submerged by each other. Under the remote laser detecting, the serious loss of image quality may occur because of the large footprint. The product surface detection method based on the single laser return waveform was studied and the provided to get the objects information inside the laser footprint. Firstly, the basis laser echo signal model of the objects inside the footprint was built. On the basis, the decomposition algorithm was provided which can decompose a laser return waveform into a series of components assuming that each component corresponding to a sub-object inside the laser footprint. After the primary sub-target return waveforms was obtained, however, there still exists some small sub-objects inside the laser footprint whose return signal is hardly to be extracted because they are submerged by the neighborhood sub-objects return signal. The subtracting algorithm between the whole return waveform and the components waveform provides the way to get the submerged return waveforms of sub-target. So, the information of sub-objects inside the laser footprint would be obtained. In the end, the actual laser return data of the product surface was analyzed employing the method to get the range position information of the sub-objects inside the laser footprint, which verifies the method validity.

Abstract: As a new lightweight material and new technique,Tailor Rolled Blanks has a good prospect in energy-saving environmental protection and the future development of the automobile industry, formability window of Tailor Rolled Blanks at blank-holder force has important practical significance. Based on the research of a square box TRB, the paper proposes a theory of TRB’ formability window, also with the usage of an ABACUS finite element software to simulate the TRB sheet in the course of the critical wrinkling BHF curve and critical fracture BHF curve, to establish TRB formability window under the condition of blank holder force. The results not only show that the square box of TRB has the security zone in the deep drawing process, but also has got the wrinkling and fracture areas of the square box.

Abstract: An artificial neural network is composed of large number of simple processing elements by direct links named connections, the benefits of neural networks extend beyond the high computation rates by massive parallelism. Optimization problems could be transferred into a feedback network, the network interconnects the neurons with a feedback path. Graphs isomorphism discernment is one of the most important and difficult issues in graphs theory based structures design. To solve the problem, a Hopfield neural networks (HNN) model is presented in this paper. The solution of HNN is design as a permutation matrix of two graphs, and some operators are improved to prevent premature convergence. It is concluded that the algorithm presented here is efficient for large-scale graphs isomorphism problem and other NP-complete optimization issues.

Abstract: This paper took the roller of a new cotton picker as the example, drew its various parts and assemblyed overally in the three-dimensional mapping software environment of UG, imported the models into the virtual reality assembly platform by the interface between UG and VAPlatform, added the virtual hand and carried through the virtual assembly in the virtual scene based on the certain assembly restriction in UG. The paper realized the visualization of the assembly path, offered the foundation for the feasible assembly path, and finally obtained the reasonable assembly process, provided a set of reasonable operation guide for the workers to assemble the cotton pickers.

Abstract: Microbial fuel cell (MFC) was used to treat organic wastewater and heavy metal waste water treatment in this test. At the same time, organic waste water tank with the oxidation is taken as the battery anode; heavy metal waste water tank with reduction is taken as the cathode of the battery. The results showed that under the same conditions, with copper ion solution as a cathode liquid solution of MFC, the maximum voltage was 61.6mV, the maximum electric power density was 147.4 mW / cm2, and COD removal rate was relatively stable, and reached 68.67%; but when copper ion solution was taken as cathode solution, the maximum voltage was 36.9mV, the maximum electric power density was 43.7 mW / cm2, and COD removal rate changed heavily and reached 58.62%. The results shows that from the point of produce electricity and wastewater treatment, silver ions are better than copper.

Abstract: A new multi-objective optimization control strategy for urban intersection is proposed, which takes the degree of smooth and the degree of equilibrium as objectives. The new method is not limited to the traditional basic traffic parameters, such as delay and queue length.etc, but Applying data fusion technology, by multiple integrating on the basic traffic parameters, the real-time multi-objective values are achieved. The degree of the smooth quantitatively denotes the forced travel time extension because of traffic signal control, saturated traffic flow.ect. The degree of equilibrium denotes the equilibrium degree of traffic flow in space. Illustrating an intersection in Beijing, a simulation model in Paramics is built. The simulation results show that the proposed multi-objective control methods can not only reduce the traffic flow delay, but also makes traffic flow distributing equilibrium in each phase of intersection. This approach is consistent with Chinese saturated traffic flow characteristics.
