Abstract: Physical model experiments have been performed to clarify the effect of hole distance and hole number of multi-hole orifices on bubble behavior during metal refining process. It is found kA/V firstly decreases and then increases with the hole distance increasing. However, kA/V shows little further increase when hole distance exceeds a critical value. There exists an optimal hole distance for the multi-hole orifice, which is dependent on the gas flow rate, the hole diameter and the hole number in the multi-hole orifice. kA/V firstly increases with the hole number increasing, and then remains unchanged when hole number exceeds a critical value. There also exists an optimal hole number for the multi-hole orifice, which is closely related to the gas flow rate.

Abstract: The dyeing wastewater was treated via oxidation, coagulation and adsorption with Fenton reagent and blast-furnace ash. The removal efficiencies of colority and COD reached 90% and over 70% respectively. The proper process conditions were deter mined as follows: the pH of wastewater was 6, the dose of H2O2 was 40mL/L, the dose of FeSO4 was 0.3moL/L, and the dose of ash was 40g/L, and the retention time was 20 min.

Abstract: Polyaniline (Pani) on graphite electrode was synthesized electrochemically under galvanostatic condition at current density of 2.0 mA/cm2 from aqueous solution of 1.0 mol/L HCl and 0.25 mol/L aniline monomer. The Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy investigation of Pani was carried out at different stages of polymers oxidation. In the potential range 0.2V~0.7 V vs SCE, with the increase of test potential the membrane resistance decreased rapidly, and Faraday process at the polymer/solution interface weakened. When the test potential in range of -0.8V~0.2V or 0.7V~0.8V, the film has a higher membrane resistance, and lower ionic charge transfer resistance, which indicated that the ion exchange for the charge compensation at the polymer/electrolyte interface is much easier. And anticorrosion properties of Pani coating of different oxidations was investigated by salt spray test. The final visual observations of the tested coatings are in agree with the results of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.

Abstract: A novel CuO-TiO2 composite photocatalyst was prepared by a redox process coupling with sol-gel method. The morphology and structure of the as-prepared samples were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Photocatalytic activity of the CuO-TiO2 composite photocatalyst was evaluated in terms of the degradation of Methyl orange (MO) in aqueous solution under UV light irradiation. The results show that the as-prepared composite consisted of monoclinic-phase CuO-nanotubes and TiO2 nanoparticles, in which TiO2 nanoparticles were dramatically decorated on the CuO-nanotubes, exhibits a high catalytic activity to decolorize MO. According to the experimental results, 1.27wt % was the optimal loading for CuO-doped TiO2 photocatalyst.

Abstract: A new photochromic diarylethene, 1-(2-ethylbenzo[b]thiophen-3-yl)-2-(2-cyanophenyl) perfluorocyclopentene (1o), was synthesized, and its photochromic and fluorescent properties were investigated. This compound exhibited reversible photochromism and fluorescence photoswitches both in solution and in PMMA films. Using diarylethene 1c/PMMA film as recording medium, optical recording was performed successfully.

Abstract: Experiments were carried out to investigate the dry-shrinkage of masonry mortar affected by mass content of polypropylene fiber. The results show that proper content of polypropylene fiber is helpful to effectively reduce dry-shrinkage of mortar especially in early age, the reduction relates to water to cement ratio of mortar. Meanwhile, the relationships of water to cement ratio and content of polypropylene fiber in affecting dry-shrinkage of masonry mortar are analyzed, which can be as reference for selecting such optimum values as water to cement ratio and content of polypropylene fiber in practices.

Abstract: Fully-welded ball valves are widely used in the crude oil/natural gas transmission pipelines, and their quality has a direct bearing on the transportation safety of national energy. Two paralleled and symmetrical circular welds are used in the main welds of valve body, and the narrow-gap submerged arc welding (NG/SAW) is used in the welding groove. Because of conditional restrictions, it is impossible for the value to be post-weld heat treatment (PWHT). Therefore, the welds must have high impact toughness and strength. In order to study the welding performance of the base metal, SAW is used in the welding of proving rings of steel LF2 fully-welded ball valves. CTOD tests are applied to welding joints, and the result suggests that the minimum CTOD value of the valve’s welds and heat affected zone (HAZ) is more than 0.15mm. According to the criterion DNV-OS-C401, the welds in the fully-welded ball valve are safe enough without PWHT.

Abstract: With the increase of the depth of frozen sinking, mine permanent derrick was located into the the frozen wall scope. The internal force distribution law of the shaft – tower foundation was obtained by the field measurement of shaft – tower foundation pressures, reinforced internal force, concrete strain, foundation deformation, and other mechanical quantities. The numerical Simulation of interaction between coal derrick and foundation in freeze - thaw process showed that: Field measurement and numerical simulation of the same laws and values were in good agreement. It has very important theoretical and practical significance for the safe production of derrick and future derrick foundation design in freezing method construction.

Abstract: A kind of invention by make the technology excellence band together of vacuum distillation refines and Vacuum and electromagnetism refine. A kind of methods and equipment for fine of Non-ferrous metals, the unusual is: use the electromagnetism force and mix round effect of electro-magnetic induction for heat up and mix round and element distill process under electro-magnetism suspend state of Non-ferrous materials. A kind of equipment and equipment for fine of non-ferrous metals consist of vacuum furnace body, electro-magnetism loop, crucible, condenser and materials vacuum resent device, etc.; The main character is: the electro-magnetism loop is electro-magnetism conductor suspend loop which located the outside or inside the body of the furnace with a tier of insulation and magnetism transmit material. The aim of which is to develop the pureness of the product by electro-magnetism suspend vacuum distillation or deoxidize distillation and efficiency of smelting; reduce the cost of the smelting.
