Abstract: The theory of fiber Bragg grating demodulation system based on unbalanced Mach-Zehnder (M-Z) interferometer is introduced. A novel design for demodulation of fiber Bragg grating sensor system based on the LabView Software is proposed and demonstrated. The system is obtained by making use of piezoelectric ceramic (PZT) technology achieving phase carrier modulation. Carrier signal is collected by data acquisition card(DAQ), and the phase modulation of signal is detected by discrete fourier transform(DFT). It realizes real-time demodulation for multiplexed sensing system.

Abstract: Magneto-Optical modulation technology has become key component in many optical information systems. However, due to the abstract theoretical knowledge, many textbooks do not introduce the properties of circular anisotropy, so it is difficult for most students to understand the polarization properties of light accurately and in depth. In this paper, the processes of Magneto-Optical modulation are Three-Dimensionally dynamically simulated by using MATLAB software first. These simulations make the complex and abstract light propagation processes become visual, which are effective aids for optics’ teaching. These simulations can enhance the understanding of the concept and the interactions with media of polarized lights and the principles of Magneto-Optical modulation. Second, a magnetic rotation glass is used to produce Magneto-Optical modulator, and finally the optical communication simulation experiment is realized and the effect is good. Experimental results show that the magneto-optical modulator has advantages like low power requirements, low modulation voltage, simple device, flexible, long life-time and small affect to the external temperature etc.

Abstract: A new routing algorithm, RABA, is proposed in this paper. It seeks the shortest path between cluster head and Base Station by Ant Colony Optimization (ACO). The cluster head far away from Base Station transmits message along the shortest path, therefore reducing the transmission path length and lowering the node energy consumption. The simulation compared with LEACH shows that this algorithm can reduce routing length effectively and prolong network lifetime, providing more high quality of service.

Abstract: The Vegetation Characteristics Model is based on the principle of DTM. The property values is the data of forest coverage of every small spot of forestry, By spatial interpolation, we can access continuous, accurate characteristic values of the data model which covers the entire forest farm forestry. This article describes three interpolation methods in detail. They are used to build Vegetation Characteristics Model, are compared each other. we can get the final conclusion: Inverse distance weighting method produces samples of the surface does not exceed the maximum and minimum data; if less sample points, using the Kriging interpolation method, we need to add some sample points in those changing areas; Spline, the main problem is when the area is lack of data, then there will be “steep slopes”, it is often referred to as "overshoot" ,this model does not work effectively. The Vegetation Characteristics Model can simulate the surface of the real situation in the forest region. This model can support spatial data for Forestry production, management and spatial analysis.

Abstract: With the exaltation of the function and the performance of the PLC technique, the application of the industry control network become more and more universal. Particularly In the application whose geography location is scattered and the stand is numerous, it can raise the Networked level completely by a control system renovation. This text mainly introduced PLC network technique which uses PLC as core controller, and makes use of existing telephone network and modem of business as communication line. It enables us to achieve active and passive communication between the master computer and the PLC slave. It focused on solving the call between the PLC and the modem. Finally, it realizeed fully automated monitoring of heat exchanger and water pump station.

Abstract: The visual simulation on diffusion of water pollution is a key technology to reveal the diffusing transport of pollutants in the water. Based on Two-Dimensional diffusing model of water quality, this paper mainly does research on the methods and procedures to visualization of the diffusion of pollution combining means of visual simulation on point pollution with the GIS technology. And the diffusion of point source pollution in a certain river is taken as an example in the paper so as to verify the effectiveness of the given method.

Abstract: An ontology management system (OMS) is a software system which manages ontologies through their lifecycle. It simplifies ontologies building and applications by providing a mechanism for querying ontologies and an easy-to-use programming interface to ontologies and instances. OMSs are powerful tools to create ontologies and extend their applications and scope. This paper explains the basic design principles of an OMS and designs a general framework of OMSs. It devotes to promoting systematically research and development of OMSs.

Abstract: There are several transformation methods between different coordinate system. This article adopts affine transformation and least square principle, deduces from conversion between geographic coordinates system and the pixel coordinate system theoretically, and conducts a better control aiming at the error. Finally, an example was demonstrated in this article to prove the rationality and practical value of this algorithm.

Abstract: Strategic policy has to be implemented within complex operating environments where organisations have to perform within an inter-dependent production process in a dynamic mix of competition and cooperation. This study was designed in the typical case of the British seaside to further the understanding of control and communication mechanisms and collaboration in policy implementation networks and focus upon problems of structural fragmentation in these complex policy environments.
