Abstract: Biodegradable foams derived from poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and gelatinized cornstarch (GS) were prepared by twin-screw extrusion using Azodicarbonamide(AC) as blowing agent and talc as nucleation agent. Foams with a relatively fine and uniform cell morphology and better foam properties were obtained under optimized conditions of PLA/GS ratio at 3:1, 1.5% AC content, and MAH and glycerol blend system.

Abstract: Taking reverse osmosis (RO) technology for the treatment of high salt containing oil waste water as the example, this study investigated the relationship between the pressure and the permeate flux, the stability of the membrane module and the membrane cleaning cycle. The results show the feasibility of RO technology for the treatment of high salt containing oil waste water.

Abstract: To enhance the product quality and production efficiency, we studied the kinetics of the microwave - vacuum drying of bleached shellac and optimized its technological process. Through the test, the drying curve, drying rate curve and drying constant of the bleached shellacs under different pressure were obtained and through the drying curve fitting, the drying model was obtained. And through the optimization test, the optimal conditions for the microwave - vacuum drying of bleached shellac were obtained, that is, pressure of 3000Pa, microwave power of 700W and drying time of 25min, then the products of color index of 0.9, water content of 0.0296 kg water / kg dry materials were obtained.

Abstract: Based on the mass balance principle, mineral contents of the bentonites from Yangxian of Shaanxi province, Queshan of Henan province, and Chifeng of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were estimated by resolving the Phase Mixing Equation constructed from the data of X-ray diffraction, microprobe analysis of montmorillonite grains, and chemical anaysis of the bentonites. The crystal formulas of montmorillonite in the bentonites were calculated based on the anion hydrogen equivalent method. The cell lattice constants of the principal minerals in the bentonites were calculated with a FORTRAN90 program CELLSR. When compared with both methods of the methylene blue absorption and XRD Rietveld quantitative phase analysis, the Phase Mixing Equation was confirmed to be the most effective modal analysis method for determing content of montmorillonite in bentonites with several minerals coexisted.

Abstract: A new bifluorene derivative, 7,7'-di(5-bromothiophen-2-yl)-9,9,9',9'-tetraoctyl-2,2'- bifluorene, has been prepared over six steps. The compound with good solubility, electronic and optical properties may be a candidate for polyfluorenes and copolymers of fluorenes.

Abstract: An in-situ Ti(CN) particle reinforce composites coating was fabricated on Q235 steel substrate by nitrogen arc shielded welding technique which take the titanium powder and the graphite powder as original material. The microstructures, interracial behavior and phase of the coatings were investigated by scanning electronic microscope, X-ray diffractometer, microhardness tester, abrasion machine. The results show that an excellent bonding between the coatings and carbon steel substrate is ensured by the strong metallurgical interface and phase of the coatings are mainly composed of TiC0.51N0.12.The highest microhardness of the coatings reaches HV0.5810, which is about five times more than that of the base metal .The anti-abrasive test results show the coating has better anti-abrasive performance than base steel.

Abstract: This article has test researched on the BFRP constraint compression of the concrete short columns secondary stress axial compression , got C20, C25 reinforced concrete specimens of stress-strain curve test, studies show that strengthened specimens of strength and deformation of the increased significantly, and the degree of improve related with the size of initial stress. Through testing the processing and analysis of data, concludes that the calculation formula of peak stress and strain of the strengthening specimens under the secondary stress and can reflect the influence of different condition of initial stress .

Abstract: The effect of asymmetry on extraordinary optical transmission (EOT) through arrays of triangular holes with acute angles was investigated using FDTD method. It was found that the transmissions are strongly dependent on the different linear polarizations of the incident electric field, and could be tuned by varying the asymmetry of arrays of triangular holes. It could be demonstrated that these properties were associated with the existence of channel plasmon-polaritons (CPPs), which make it possible to realize Fabry-Perot (FP) resonances inside the triangular holes. The results may be very useful for EOT applications which require high sensitivity on the polarization of the incident electric field and the shape of holes in the arrays.

Abstract: The microstructure, mechanical properties and texture of 10Cr17 ferritic stainless strips were researched under two processes condition, without normalizing and with normalizing in the cover-type annealing furnance before picking and rolling. The results showed that the texture {111} was strengthed and the texture {001} was weakened of cover anneal’s strip, and high value of r was obtained. Meanwhile, the crimping defect paralleling to rolling direction was uneasy appeared during stretching and the strip show good deep-drawing performance after cover normalizing.

Abstract: Rotational rheometer was employed to determine rheological properties of sodium alginate solutions of 3, 5 and 10wt.% concentrations. The results showed that temperature had a strong effect on the morphology of sodium alginate in aqueous solutions. To observe the anisotropic phase formation, Polarized optical microscopy (POM) experiments were performed. It revealed the presence of briefringence in 3, 5 and 10wt.% sodium alginate solutions.
