Abstract: This paper introduces a computer-aided concurrent tolerance design system based on real manufacturing resources (CATFM), which can ensure the optimal robust tolerance and consider real manufacturing resource owned by the factory. Firstly, the concurrent tolerance design model which can get balance between quality and cost utilizing Taguchi's quality loss function is proposed. Then the principle of concurrent tolerancing is concisely depicted through analyzing the overall structure of the system, and the design method is described in detail. Finally, an example is adopted to illustrate the proposed system.

Abstract: Abstract. It is accurate to use CFD hydrodynamic model in optimal design, but its efficiency is low. According to variables design of experiment was arranged, then kriging model was established to by CFD hydrodynamic calculations of two-D hydrofoil. The two objectives which were the maximal ration of lift to resistance and minimal min-pressure coefficient were linearly weighted sum to a single objective. Genetic algorithm was carried out to solve the hydrodynamic performances optimization of the hydrofoil. After optimization, the ration of lift to resistance was improved and min-pressure coefficient was increased. The result shows that the Kriging model can reflect the identity of the objective, effectively reduce the cost of CFD simulation.

Abstract: CNC system is the core of CNC Machine Tools, reliability of CNC system is decided in its design stage. Design stage of CNC system can be divided into software design and hardware design. In software design, there is not perfect theories to follow, so every factors should be considered, different factors should have different measures; In hardware design, some methods and experience can be used for reference, and improve these methods and experience. In order to improve the CNC system reliability fundamentality, CNC system need stability base, measures should be done from design stage.

Abstract: ‘four in one’ nitric acid plant is a key equipment to manufacture nitric acid. Its foundation is placed between the axial flow compressor and the expander, and has larger amplitude. Choosing the foundation of this machine as study subject, this paper analyses the biggest disturbance value of all vibration source in line with Code for design of dynamic machine foundation and by adding T-shaped kerfs on the box girder between the axial flow compressor and the expander. It also conducts harmonic response analysis on this foundation with the finite element method. By comparatively analyzing the displacement harmonic response figure of nodal points on the X, Y and Z axis in the foundation before and after adding the T-shaped kerfs, it indicates that T-shaped kerfs can dramatically mitigate the steady-state harmonic response amplitude.

Abstract: In this paper, BP network is applied to structure multi-level evaluation model to implement evaluation for the kinematic concepts acquired by function analysis. Under this approach, the best concept can be selected once evaluation indicators of each candidate are fuzzily quantified, converted into evaluation attribute value, and fed into the trained network model. During the process, neural network is used to solve the bottle-neck problem of knowledge acquiring and expression, which can be viewed as knowledge base and reasoning engine for the evaluation. At the same time, it is effective in solving the problem of weight distribution in evaluation indicator system. Fuzzy logic is used to achieve the fuzzy quantization for the attribute value of evaluation indicator in evaluation system, which can be used as the I/O value for neural network.

Abstract: A piezoelectric sensor array is introduced for the analysis of gas in mine. This sensor array is made of three different gas-sensitive piezoelectric sensors to detect an explosive gas mixture of methane, butane and hexane. The gas analysis is very important to reliable warning of explosion risk in mine. Because of cross sensing to gas for each sensor of sensor array, we use BP neural network in the artificial neural networks to process the sensing signal to get the concentration of methane, butane and hexane in the combustible gas mixture. Experimental results show that the analysis error is less than 5% and meets the requirements of safety monitoring.

Abstract: Translation symmetry widely exists and plays an important role in mechanical systems. On the basis of research on the condition and mode of existence of translation symmetry in mechanical systems, according to the directivity and the alternations of symmetry components, the dimensionality and the closed circle of symmetry benchmark, the concept system of mechanical translation symmetry was established, and was explained and verified by accurate instances. The concept system is the foundation of further research on the application law of translation symmetry in mechanical systems.
