Abstract: This paper presents a method of license plate Chinese character recognition based on image quality for improving the recognition rate of low-resolution characters in license plates. Each subset of license plate Chinese character images with the same fuzzy degree are used to construct a corresponding PCA subspace, then the projection residuals distance between the Chinese character to be recognized and each subspace in the specific subspaces which are selected by character’s fuzzy degree is calculated. The class which corresponds to the subspace with the minimum distance is the recognition result. The experimental results show that the proposed method has higher recognition rate and faster recognition speed comparing to other ones.

Abstract: With the development of low carbon economy, the low carbon of logistics industry is imperative. In order to carry out the low carbon of enterprises’ economy, the low carbon concept of logistics systems are put forward during planning stage. Combined traditional SLP layout method with the low consumption, low emission and low pollution of low logistics, a SLP improvement method based on the low carbon is given in this article. By using the improvement method and combining with the actual layout of factory, the layout of factory workshop is analyzed and designed again. As a result, the logistics condition of factory is improved greatly, its comprehensive efficiency is increased, its overall material flow rate is reduced, and its energy consumption and waste disposal is significantly slow down

Abstract: This work investigates chaos synchronization between two different fractional-order hyperchaotic system (FOHS)s with uncertain parameters. The Chen FOHS is controlled to be synchronized with a new FOHS. The analytical conditions for the synchronization of different FOHSs are derived by utilizing the stability theory of fractional-order system. Furthermore, synchronization between two different FOHSs is achieved by utilizing sliding mode control method in a quite short period and both remain in chaotic states. Numerical simulations are used to verify the theoretical analysis using different values of the fractional-order parameter

Abstract: With gross weight minimum of reticulated shell (including elements and nodes) as the objective function, with cross section size of elements, the volume of spherical nodes and shell shape parameter (kn, nx) as design variables, a two-level shape optimizing mathematical model of spherical reticulated shell, which is based on discrete variables, is established, and the corresponding optimizing design programmes are made. Model establishing with modeling macro program of spherical reticulated shell parameterization, using ANSYS software for the structure force analysis, this programme has the characteristics of high optimizing efficiency with multiple designing schemes, and high analyzing and computing accuracy. Some practical and valuable conclusions are reached by the analysis and comparisons of optimizing design results of 42 Kiewit spherical reticulated shells with six kinds of span and seven kinds of rise-span ratios

Abstract: In the design of disconnected steering trapezoid, the Fmincon function of MATLAB optimization toolbox is used to optimize its basic parameters. First, establish the optimal mathematical model. Second, obtain wheel angle curve of inside and outside steering by least-squares fitting. Finally, compare the curve with the ideal Ackerman geometric curve to get the optimization parameters of disconnected steering trapezoid. The example of optimized design validated that the actual curve of deflection angle of the both sides of steering wheel was almost close to perfect Ackerman geometry curve, it ensures the steering of wheel do pure rolling in the common conditions, which reduce tire wear

Abstract: The optimal fuzzy similarity coefficient based on the phase space is proposed to evaluate the rolling bearing vibration acceleration generated by wear on the surface of the ring raceway. The phase space of the time series of the rolling bearing vibration acceleration is reconstructed via the chaos theory, the fuzzy similarity relation between the phase trajectories is established by the fuzzy set theory, and then the optimal fuzzy similarity coefficient is obtained through a reasonable choice of the embedding dimension and the delay. Experimental investigation shows that with the increase of the fault diameter, the optimal fuzzy similarity coefficient decreases nonlinearly

Abstract: Kolmogorov entropy theory was introduced into this paper for time series of one-parameter maximum likelihood estimation of the entropy K, combined with practical applications to aeroengine health monitoring. K entropy value was used to describe the disorder degree of aeroengine parts performance parameters, analyzing the health status and evolutive trend of aeroengine components. Optimization base on K entropy was used to analyze muli-parameter time series trend of K entropy, according to preferred status indicator changes analyzes the overall health of aeroengine. Abstract: Based on the research of complexity and non-linearity of aero-engine exhaust gas temperature (EGT) system, a regularization chaotic prediction model was proposed to build short time forecasting model of EGT. In this paper, in order to gain the best parameter to improve the accuracy of the forecasting model, a simple search algorithm arithmetic was adopted. The simulation analysis shows that the proposed forecasting model obviously exceeded the traditional chaotic forecasting model on prediction accuracy. Therefore, this arithmetic is efficient and feasible for a short-term prediction of aero-engine exhaust gas temperature

Abstract: Systematic frequency holds great influence to bistable stochastic resonance (BSR) model. In this paper, frequency parameter f0 was investigated to explore the parameter-induced bistable stochastic resonance characteristic according to the former research results. Within a variable frequency parameter f0 range (from 0.01 to 10), a systematic output stochastic resonance emerged with the value change of frequency parameter f0. Systematic output signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) curve shows that the variable frequency parameter f0 could induce stochastic resonance in real-time signal analysis field
