Abstract: To satisfy the special needs of confidential networks, a protection method of combining ingress and egress access control for network boundary security is proposed. In preventing network attacks, a combined mechanism of packets filtering firewall and intrusion detection system based on artificial neural network and rule matching is implemented to increase the accuracy of intrusion detection. In preventing information leakage, techniques of identity authentication and content filtering are integrated into the mechanism of egress access control so that strategies with more flexibility in security auditing and access control can be implemented, which is effective to prevent the sensitive or secret data from leaking out and to trace the source of leakage.

Abstract: This paper investigates delay-dependent robust passive analysis and control for uncertain discrete singular system with multiple time-delays. Delay-dependent robust passive sufficient condition in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMI) for the discrete singular systems is obtained by employing Lyapunov-Krasovskii approach and free weighting matrix technique. Based on this condition, a delay-dependent robust passive controller is presented which guarantees the resultant closed-loop system to be regular, casual, stable and robust passive. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.

Abstract: Controller Area Network (CAN) is a leading serial bus or network for embedded control since this protocol’s development in the early 1980s, and Ethernet has become the dominant LAN architecture, currently which also is widely applied in embedded control. In order to resolve the interconnection of CAN network and Ethernet, a CAN network with Ethernet and wireless CAN interface is designed, which contains a wired and wireless CAN-Ethernet gateway based on μIP TCP/IP stack protocol, a wired CAN network and a wireless CAN network. Microprocessor STC12C5A60S2 is used as the MPU in the gateway, Ethernet controller ENC 28J60 is connected to Internet through adapter HR911105A and RJ45, CAN interface chips are SJA1000 and PCH82c250, wireless module utilize the single RF transceiver chip nRF2401. The structure of hardware and software of this system are presented, and testing program show that this system can transport data with each other among Ethernet, the wired CAN nodes and the wireless CAN.

Abstract: For large-scale distributed interactive simulation, it is important and difficult for data to communicate among thousands of objects. The purpose of the Data Distribution Management (DDM) service performs data filter and reduces irrelevant data between federations. Grid-based algorithm can only manage to filter part of irrelevant data. Experimental results show that, compare with normal grid-based algorithms, the dynamic multicast method can minimize.

Abstract: Alopex is a heuristic and optimum algorithm. A self-adaptive and variable step length Alopex algorithm was raised to exceed local optimal solution and to approximate global optimal solution based on modified Alopex algorithm. To improve modified Alopex approximation precision further and eliminate the follow-on shocks appearance, the reasonable alter of δin was implemented. The simulation results show algorithm optimized is practicable and effective.

Abstract: In order to find the typical acoustic emission (AE) parameters for distinguishing the original specimen without being welded and the specimen with blowhole defect all made of WELDOX960 steel. Three-point bending test on the two specimens were conducted respectively. Firstly, from the procedural map, we deduced that the reason why there was such a sudden energy leap is because of the activities of welding crack, and the multistage energy release also because of the step by step propagation of welding crack in despite of any kind of welding defect. AE parameter distribution map and statistical distribution analysis results also validated the before-mentioned judgment. We found the parameter distribution map of amplitude, count, duration time and centroid frequency of the two specimens were distinctly different, thus those characters can be used as the indicator on its own for distinguishing the two kinds of AE source, i.e., the plastic deformation and the crack generation and propagation

Abstract: This article reports the use of BP neural network for evaluation of the appearance of garment after dry wash. The selected data about parameters of fabrics and interlinings are analyzed by principal analysis and eight principal components are obtained through this method. A BP neural network with a single hidden layer is constructed including eight input nodes, six hidden nodes and one output nodes. During training the network with a back-propagation algorithm, the eight principal components are used as input parameters, while the rate of the appearance of the garment are used as output parameters. The weight values are modified with momentum and learning rate self-adaptation to solve the two defects of the BP network. All original data are preprocessed and the learning process is successful in achieving a global error minimum. The rate of the appearance can be evaluated with this training network and there is a good agreement between the evaluated and tested values.

Abstract: We describe an efficient algorithm to detect the limbs of a human. In order to realize the real-time and robustness, we utilize a detection algorithm by using integral image and haar-like feature. The integral image is the original image for video, the pixel value of each point is the point of the original image in the top left of all the pixel values. After the convolution of the edge detection template and the original video for each frame, convolution images obtained information and suppress background noise, the body physical location can be calculated by accumulating the image of the integral image and by using haar-like feature. The experiment results show the algorithm can detect the location of the limbs at the rate of 30 frames per second.

Abstract: A new evaluation system based on the optimal degree evaluation method and combined with the comprehensive optimal degree evaluation method and the extensible optimal degree evaluation method is put forward in this paper, as an effective means in conducting the comprehensive multi-expert optimal degree evaluation to eliminate the convergences or conflicts that may occur in other evaluation methods while choosing measurement conditions. Meanwhile, the on-line optimal degree evaluation system developed on this theory is discussed in this paper too and proves its correctness by an application example of vertical machining centers.
