Abstract: With the multimedia traffic and of the heterogeneous networks also referred as (4G) grows the need to maintain the video quality perception by the final user. This work presents a mechanism to select the ideal network based on Quality of Experience (QoE) to a better video quality in vertical handover. The simulation results presents that the minimum PSNR value of the selected networks was 29dB, which shows the selection of efficient network.

Abstract: In this paper, an integrated test system involving direct racking and simulation test systems is presented for evaluate the motion artifacts of flat panel display, to refrain from the high system requirements of direct method and environment limitations of simulation method. And then system structure and operating principle are expatiated and analyzed. Although the testing results are not exactly the same as subjective observing, they are still essentially homogeneous. Good statistical correlation illustrates the value of this study. The work presented here has implications for future contribution to research and measurement of motion artifacts of flat panel display.

Abstract: Data Clustering is considered as an interesting approach for finding similarities in data and putting similar data into groups. Clustering partitions a data set into several groups such that the similarity within a group is larger than that among groups. This paper explores the cluster-based classification scheme in the context of recognition of handwritten Kannada numerals. In this paper, K-Medoids clustering algorithm is being used for the classification. The features used for the classification are obtained from the directional chain code information of the contour points of the numerals. The proposed algorithm is experimented on nearly 1000 samples of handwritten Kannada numerals and obtained 97% of recognition accuracy.

Abstract: Particle filter is a powerful tool for video tracking however its large amount of calculation restricts its application especially when the number of particles is large. This paper analysis the distribution of the particles, and the finite additive feature in the weighting calculation of the particles. Then this paper proposed a method which utilized the overlapped particles thus up to 81.22% time consumed is reduced in computation. Experimental results show its validity.

Abstract: Based on the mode mixing problem which exists in EMD(Empirical Mode Decomposition)method, this paper provides two ways to solve this problem.First is to increase the sampling frequency, add a characteristic wave with high amplitude and frequency in the process of signal analysis,then put the FFT transformation on the IMF(intrinsic mode function) which derives from EMD method,while in the process of transformation,binary scaling to the sampling frequency to adapt to the changes of each IMF component, making the spectrum more clear and the analysis of the data with the relevant frequency components more careful.The second is EEMD ,which is proposed in recent years.We use this method to deal with the signal ,after that,then use EMD method to analyse it,which will get a good result.While a comparison with the two methods and point out the different ranges of applications.

Abstract: Insulator leakage current has very large amount of data, so that increased the burden of data storage and system’s transmission. In order to solve this problem, first, analysis the data with wavelet transform, and then using Fractal Interpolation and Collage Theorem to compress and recovery the data. Signal can be well restored with very little data. The results show that, using wavelet transform and fractal interpolation method to compress data, large amount of data can be reduced during transmission, not only reduces hardware requirements, but also improve the compression efficiency.

Abstract: To deal with the large amount of data and high propagation delay within long distance, a high speed data gathering system based on Ethernet Powerlink is implemented in the paper. With FPGA and FIFO algorithm, the hardware and software design is presented in details. The design has realized high-speed data cached and accessed synchronously. Experiments and simulation results indicate that the system has a higher communication performance and compatibility.

Abstract: Video steganographic algorithm has the advantage of large hiding capacity, but we neglect the security when seek the capacity. In order to balance the two aspects, both to meet the high capacity of improving the load of video carrier and can safely protect the secret information. This paper presents the error-correcting code which can effectively correct burst errors and use it in video steganography. The secret information is hidden in error-correcting code first and then integrated the code with secret information with the video carrier’s DCT coefficients to insert the secret information in video carrier. The experiment results show that: this algorithm not only has great visual and statistical invisibility, also the safety of secret information is more significant. And achieve the objective of effective protect the secret information.

Abstract: In this paper, a simple video steganography algorithm based on the tree structured motion compensation of the H.264 video compression standard is proposed. In the proposed method, the head data of macroblock in P/B-frames was used as a cover, the 8x8 partition modes which represent the detailed areas are selected, and information hiding is implemented by modifying the partition modes of the sub-macroblock. Experiments are designed to prove the feasibility of the proposed scheme by using different kinds of test videos. Simulation results show that, in our scheme, a high data hiding rate is obtained with a little increase on bit rate, and it also has the characteristics of high computational efficiency and imperceptibility.

Abstract: Taking popular culture in the context of visual communication as its research objectives, this article mainly analyses the visual hegemony of popular culture and the plight of paper-reading from the perspective of a reflective angle of view under the visual shift of popular culture. It reveals that the visual shift of popular culture causes the plight of paper-reading and has adverse affect on human thinking and traditional cultural heritage. Meanwhile, human are always be "monitored" and the privacy can not be protected. And the willing to be “monitored” and adopt privacy becomes the means for individual or group to get benefit.
