Abstract: The power loss analysis of matrix converter based on RB-IGBT is discussed in this paper. The on-state performance and switching process of RB-IGBT are tested; the on-state curve is obtained by the mathematical fit of the experimental data; On the basis, a method of power loss calculation for matrix converter under the input line-to-line voltage control strategy and four-step commutation strategy is investigated; Finally, the simulation result obtained by MATLAB/Simulink verifies the correctness and validity of the proposed method.

Abstract: In this paper, we present an idea about a new pattern combined temperature sensor that makes use of two sensors, one is platinum resistance that have good linearity and stability, the other is semiconductor resistance that have high sensitivity and fast response .We use the output of platinum resistance as measurement and calibration standard, and the output of semiconductor resistance for increment measurement, thus we got a better temperature sensor with both the advantages of platinum resistance and semiconductor resistance.

Abstract: The paper studies a switching loss minimized PWM method for flying capacitor multilevel inverter. Using the method, each phase of the flying capacitor multilevel inverter can have the 120° no switching zone in one period; according to power factor angle, 120° no switching zone can be adjusted to be farthest located in the centre of the peak value region of the load current, the switching loss can be greatly reduced and the efficiency of the system can be greatly improved. the simulation and experimental results show that switching loss of 33%is reduced.

Abstract: A numerical analysis is used to investigate the response of non-linear systems under aperiodic excitations based on the harmonic response analysis method. An idea of fine discretization is proposed to turn the aperiodic excitations into the superposition of a series of periodic excitations in a tiny time interval. The method of perturbation is employed to transform the non-linear governing equation into a series of linear differential equations. Harmonic response analysis can be applied in the solution of aperiodic steady response. The algebraic algorithm of direct steady-state analysis can improve computational efficiency. The defect that the steady-state solution can be gotten out until the free vibration attenuates is avoided. The examples show that the numerical results match well with the analytic data.

Abstract: T-Type transmission lines are widely used in HV power system. The paper analyzes operation characteristics of fault component based traditional differential protection principles in the complex plane. The paper pointed out that there are some limitations for traditional principles in ensuring sensitivity of internal fault and reliability of external fault. Furthermore, the paper proposes a novel principle for T-type transmission line. Current phase differential phase is introduced into realization of current differential protection. Restraint unit of the proposed principle takes the role of drive and restraint respectively in the case of internal and external faults. Therefore, both the sensitivity and reliability of protection are improved significantly. At last, simulation tests show that the proposed principle is valid.

Abstract: A novel scheme of low power communication power supply with high power factor and soft-switching is presented, a power factor corrector and dc/dc converter of passive lossless soft-switching is based on a ML4803 IC control. DC/DC converter introduces a novel two-transistor forward soft-switching technique, which realizes zero-voltage turn-on and turn-off, with no additional switches. a communication power supply module is developed in this paper. It has the characteristics of rapid dynamic response, high power factor, high efficiency and small bulk ect.

Abstract: The development work and proposes the technique to embed the predictive control algorithm into configuration control software at the DCS level. The thesis presents the technique and its application scheme to control CFBB super-heated steam temperature in a thermal power plant. The control scheme includes that the description of controlled plant characters, conventional control scheme analysis and improved control scheme design. It integrates feed-back and feed-forward DMC with DMC-PID cascade control and nonlinear gain-scheduling compensation for actuator. Satisfactory industrial application results show that such a control scheme has enhanced robustness to the complex process, and better control performance has been obtained.

Abstract: A calculator design was created using S3C44B0X chip with ARM7TDMI as the kernel with a keypad connected to a ZLG7289A intelligent control chip through SIO synchronous serial ports as well as a LED port. The system design used hybrid programming with C language and ARM assembly language to accomplish basic calculations with LED digital display. The structured frame design makes it convenient to expand the functions of S3C44B0X, and has broad practical importance for developing uses for the built-in system both in software and hardware.

Abstract: Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is used for such tasks as surveillance, widespread environmental sampling, security, and health monitoring widely. In this paper, a WSNs topology is proposed for lightning monitoring of distribution lines, which decides the number of nodes, routing protocol and power efficiency. The WSNs is deployed along the distribution line with nodes mounted on tall towers, which is used to monitor the lightning activities and accomplish fault diagnosis. At last, a monitoring system based on WSN is fabricated.
