Abstract: In view of the traditional color of historic buildings in old Nantong city is gradually lost and the buildings lack of color planning in the process of large-scale expansion of the city, the color characteristics of Nantong historic buildings are analyzed from the perspectives of the geographical tradition and characteristic time. Meanwhile, the color design method of Nantong historic buildings in architectural renewal are proposed.

Abstract: Diantou village cave-houses are close to the mountains and are faced with the Fengyu valley mouth. There are many hidden tunnels and burrows in the stone cave-houses in the village which mutually connect. The stone construction similar to barracks has important military function. The construction here is mostly of the floor type, the upper of the pavilion style with the bricks and stones, the top and the bottom being courtyard houses. The transportation, the structure and the defense thought are unique, with the extremely high scientific value and local esthetics connotation.

Abstract: Owing to Different geographic human environments and developing history, the unique traditional architecture culture came into being in China and European. This paper will study different styles of traditional architecture culture of China and European in different historical period and explore their own abundant cultural connotation in order to better develop our own country’s traditional architecture culture.

Abstract: According to Schopenhauer, style is the appearance of mind, then, the existence and expression of mind need a broad social environment and social background. What’s more, the formation of style has its own profound social, political, economical and cultural roots. There are a variety of genres in contemporary interior design realm, which has not formed a real style yet, but style preferences have already appeared and became evident increasingly. This paper aims to discuss the style preferences of interior design in current social background, and tries to draw some enlightenment.

Abstract: Blind children, visually impaired, need to rely on other sensory and perceptual compensations to get the access to information. So their sensory and perceptual characteristics are different from ordinary people. Therefore, the environment of the school must be suitable for them to perceive and identify things so as to realize unobstructed sensation and perception. This thesis attempts to discuss the perception from three sides, namely, smoothness, identification and security.

Abstract: By discussing the structural form’s effects on the architectural modelling,this paper elaborates the relationship between structural form and architectural modelling essential factors,and reveals the aesthetic characteristics of the structural morphology as well as how to express structural aesthetics value.Results show that the creative way to achieve the unification of architectural modelling and structural form is basic approach architectural design’s structure manifestation,and sevaral methods of this manifestation are also presented.
