Abstract: To investigate the differences between industrial pairs trading in different classification levels, explore the compatibility between pure statistical pairs and industrial pairs, the article based on the 50 stock’s data of Index 50 SSE in China from 2004 to 2010, implemented the GGR trading strategy, and paired the sample stocks with pure statistical, primary industry and secondary industry pairing methods. It discovered that primary industrial pairs make no significantly difference with pure statistical pairs, but the secondary industry pairs do and improve markedly with the possibility of ruling out the best pairs arbitrarily. With GGR trading strategy established, stock selection criteria would impact on the trading results.

Abstract: An industrially efficient process for manufacturing resveratrol (3,4',5-trihydroxystilbene) from 3,5-dihydroxylbenzoic acid in Wittig-Horner route was developed. The significant progress is embodied in improvement for reduction or oxidation process and mild reaction conditions with fewer environmental pollution, and especially the high quality product (≥ 99.0%, HPLC) with favourable yield (beyond 64%) were obtained.

Abstract: The lifting mechanism’s mechanical system and hydraulic system were built by the mechanical system dynamics software ADAMS for improving the mechanism’s performance. The hydraulic-mechanical virtual prototype model was established by the integration of the two systems through parameter correlated technology under ADAMS environment. The locations of revolute joints were optimized with the minimum of the cylinder forces as the optimization goal, by using the OPTDES-GRG and the main design points were parameterized. The optimization results show that the maximal cylinder forces had reduced by 16.5% over the non-optimum one, while the lifting force has reduced by 15.7% in the work process of lifting mechanism.

Abstract: The three-dimensional shear strength reduction method is used to evaluate the stability of an idealized slope stabilized with anchors, where the soil-anchor interaction is simulated by zero-thickness three-dimensional interface elements, and the effects of the direction angle, position, spacing on the slope stability are numerical studied. The results show that the reinforcing mechanisms of anchors in slopes are to increase the shearing resistance on the slip surface, and the failure mechanism, predicted by SSR, agrees well with the critical slip circle given by Bishop’s simplified method. The better stabilizing effects can be obtained when the anchors are installed with a small angle between the anchor and the horizontal direction, and slightly closer to the slope toe.

Abstract: An optimization mthod for ruse degree of lader bucket mdule-base was put forword in this paper. Tthis method first constructs the similarity matrix by calculation of similarity, then the clustering module examples to be needed can be obtained according to minimum spanning tree obtained by the matrix and by selection of the appropriate threshold value, finally the cluster center and error are calculated to determine the retained module example to ultimately achieve the purpose of reuse of the module examples. If the threshold of dissimilarity is limited to 0.96, 11 redundancy examples among 39 existing bucket module examples are eliminated to improve 39.2% of the reuse degree.

Abstract: A 3-D modeling based on the numerical resolution of fluid flow and heat transfer are utilized to investigate the thermal phenomena during laser laser-cladding processes of BT20 alloy. From this model, it has been found that the shape and size of the molten pool in the work piece are affected by laser cladding parameters such as scanning speed and the incident laser power. The effects of process parameters on the melt pool are quantitatively discussed by numerical analysis. Furthermore, it has been observed that the surface tension temperature coefficient, Marangoni convection, which is sensitive to the active elements in the titanium alloy composition, also affect the pattern of the fluid flow in the molten pool.

Abstract: Some of the large and medium-sized cities in China appear the phenomenon of easy to buy but difficulty to park a car. From the view of structure design scheme, several common mechanical parking system has been introduced in this paper. The application examples of the lateral movement type, vertical lifting movements of three-dimensional garage has been displayed emphatically. through to the analysis and comparison of the structure characteristics, working efficiency of the roadway stacker type parking equipment, the structural design advantages of the double loop level turntable three-dimensional garage has been objectively demonstrated.

Abstract: A planetary cylindrical roller traction drive was developed. It is comprised of a sun roller, three planet rollers, an outer ring, a planet carrier and an input shaft. The sun roller is hollow, and is connected through three segments of logarithmic spiral profile to the input shaft. As the input shaft rotates relative to the sun roller, a wedging action takes place between the input shaft and the sun roller; this makes the sun roller produce a certain amount of radial displacement, so an appreciable amount of normal load is thus generated between the rollers of the planetary traction-drive device. The greater the input torque is, the stronger the strength of the wedging action, and the greater the contact load, and vice versa; so this device is self-actuating. Here, as cylindrical rollers are used in the planetary traction-drive device, the spin motion as would present in the case that tapered rollers are used will not occur. This design offers an alternative way to solve the problem of self-adaptively loading of planetary cylindrical roller traction-drive devices.

Abstract: An approach to deal with interval linear equations is to reduce the problem into solving several linear (or nonlinear) equations (or inequalities). To obtain characterations of the equations the paper gives a necessary condition of tolerance solutions of interval linear equations by means of nonlinear inequalities. Based on the necessary condition, a sufficience condition for nonexistence of tolerance solutions of the equations is given by use of the well-known Farkas theorem.
