Abstract: In this paper, calcium and magnesium fouling on membrane distillation process was investigated. The effect of less soluble salts with single component or multi component on flux and membrane fouling was examined, by means of synthesizing seawater. The results showed that the fouling caused by calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate was mainly formed by the attachment of the insoluble substance on the fibers. The calcium sulfate caused the blocking at inlet hole of the module. If there were less soluble salts with multi components in the feed, calcium carbonate was the main form of the fouling.

Abstract: Currently there has been much interested in developing the watermarking for 3D graphic data of NURBS or mesh model, for its function of copyright protecting, private detection under the network environment. Since the majority of computer aided design (CAD) applications employ parametric curves and surfaces, this paper proposes a watermarking mechanism for CAD models, those employ non-uniform rational B-spine (NURBS) curves and surfaces as their main shape-defining primitives. This algorithm using relative knot insertion method embeds the watermarks generated by features sequence identification into the NURBS primitives. The shapes are exactly preserved. We don’t need ether original model or original message to extract the watermarks from the watermarked models, since it is blind. By experimental result, we confirmed the watermarking mechanism is robust against most common attacks.

Abstract: Iron oxides-coated kaolinite (Fe-Kaolinite) was prepared by co-precipitation and indentified using X-ray diffraction (XRD). Moreover, the surface properties and fluoride adsorption characteristics of Fe-Kaolinite were investigated and compared with those of kaolinite. Compared to kaolinite, the BET surface area and surface fractal dimension of Fe-Kaolinite increased significantly. The pH at zero point of charge (pHZPC) of kaolinite and Fe-Kaolinite was 3.16 and 6.24, respectively. In the suspensions of pH 6.0, the fitted maximum adsorption capacity (qmax) for fluoride of kaolinite and Fe-Kaolinite was 1.32 and 5.86 mg/g, respectively. The adsorption data for fluoride by Fe-Kaolinite could be fitted using Freundlich isotherm (R2 =0.987), and Langmuir isotherm was very suitable for describing the fluoride adsorption of kaolinite (R2 =0.991).

Abstract: Based on the green supply chain containing electronic manufacturing enterprises, retailers and recycling enterprises, an integer programming model is established to maximize the income of electronic manufacturing enterprises via optimizing inventory of each node and transportation volume between each node. And a certain enterprise data are adopted for verification.

Abstract: Vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) process with vacuum exhaust step for concentrating ventilation air methane (VAM) was studied experimentally. The effect of vacuum exhaust ratio on methane concentration and recovery are investigated. The results shows that vacuum exhaust step can increase the methane concentration of product gas without increasing pressure. As the ratio increases, the concentrations of methane in both product and effluent firstly increase, and then reach steady state after a certain vacuum exhaust ratio. The process of vacuum exhaust gas recovered can increase methane recovery and concentration, but it will decrease the methane concentration of product when the vacuum exhaust ratio is lower than 1.0. The results could provide reference for the industrial application in VAM enrichment.

Abstract: This paper briefly summarizes the practical experience of distribution and coordination mechanism of agro-supply chain in western developed countries, especially in USA, and systematically analysis the main obstacles for the distribution and coordination mechanism of benefit at present in china. Besides, based on the integrated use of system dynamics and related theories, it eventually builds a systematical framework for the distribution and coordination mechanism of benefit for the main parts involved under the agro-product supply-chain environment.

Abstract: Single crystalline Mn3O4 nanorods with diameters of 10-200 nm and lengths up to several microns have been synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method at a relatively low temperature. The products have been characterized by microscopic and spectroscopic techniques. From the Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) spectra of the products, hyperfine structure (six absorption peaks of ESR) of Mn2+ ion adding the Mn3+ ion signal was observed and results confirmed the nanorods showed paramagnetic behaviors.

Abstract: The symplectic method is applied to study analytically the stress distributions of composite laminated plates in this paper applies. The dual equations were presented by variation principle and introducing separation of variables used. Then in the symplectic space which consists of the original variables and their dual variables, the problem can be solved via effective mathematical physics methods such as the method of separation of variables and Eigen function vector expansion. The equation and Eigen-vector are deduced. The results of cross-ply laminated graphite–epoxy composite plate with clamped boundary are shown, which is compared with established results. The parameters’ influences on mechanical property are also discussed.
