Abstract: AZO (Aluminum doped Zinc Oxide) is widely used to produce transparent conductive coatings for liquid crystal displays, flat panel displays, plasma displays, touch panels, and electronic ink applications. The densification behavior of AZO powder is a critical factor related to the design of the compaction process. In this study, the densification behavior of AZO powder during cold compaction has been investigated in order to calibrate the modified Drucker-Prager Cap (DPC) model for FE simulations. A compaction test with a cylindrical die was carried out, and two failure tests were performed: the diameteral compression test and the uniaxial compression test. AZO compacts with various densities from the compact tests were used as specimens for the failure tests. Based on the experimental results, the parameters of the modified DPC model were determined through simple manipulations.

Abstract: This study present a finite element model of Ф11.18m Slurry Balance TBM. Loads on the cutter head in different geological conditions and different working conditions is discussed and stress distribution of the cutter head in three typical working conditions is obtained. The stress distribution and deformation trend of the cutter head in various working conditions have been shown in this paper. Weak areas of structural strength and stiffness of the cutter head have been obtained and the dangerous condition has been identified through the analysis results. These results provide necessary reference to evaluate performance of the cutter head.

Abstract: For to steals, robs, and so on accidents to carry on the effective monitor and the warning, a burglar alarm monitoring circuit is designed by using mobile phone, which utilizes a pyroelectric infrared sensor to detect the human body moving signal, when someone moves in a monitoring region, pyroelectric infrared sensor can detect the human body moving signal, and converts it to the voltage signal, the signal is amplified, comparison, time delay, control the relay connect or disconnect the mobile phone to the owners alarm. The components are welded on the circuit board, and connected to internal lead wire of mobile phone key, electrifying testing, it can realized anti-theft alarm and monitoring function.

Abstract: In this paper, the gas–liquid two-phase mixture model with the k-ε turbulence model was used to numerically simulate the characteristics of an oxidation ditch. The proposed model concerns with the drag force and the drift velocity. The numerical method is based on a pressure-correction algorithm of the SIMPLE-type. A multigrid technique based on the full approximation storage (FAS) scheme is employed to accelerate the numerical convergence, while the κ-ε model with wall functions is used. The numerical results for velocity and turbulent kinetic energy in the oxidation ditch are obtained.

Abstract: The interface pattern of Zn-5wt%Al alloy was investigated during unidirectionally solidification with different withdrawal rate and superheat degree. It was showed that the pattern of liquid/solid interface varied with withdrawal rate and superheat degree. While the superheat degree of alloy melt was low and the withdrawal rate was increased, the change of interface pattern was the same as the normal change of interface pattern. While the superheat degree of alloy melt was high and the withdrawal rate was increased too, the change of interface pattern was different. As a result, the pattern and stability of liquid/solid interface was chosen by withdrawal rate and superheat degree mainly.

Abstract: The rice husk ash/natural rubber (RHA/NR) composites were prepared by latex blending process using the RHA modified with silane coupling agent. The structure and morphology of modified RHA were studied. The dispersing performance of modified RHA in the composites was evaluated from the structure and thermal properties. The results indicate that silane coupling agent KH-570 can react with the carboxyl of the RHA surface, leading to a significant decrease in carboxyl absorption intensity and the obvious improvement in the dispersion of RHA particles in rubber matrix. As the modified RHA having grafted onto NR molecular chains can increase the interface force between RHA and rubber matrix, the thermal stability of RHA/NR composites thus can be improved. The RHA/NR composite of highest thermal stability can be prepared with RHA load of 5% shows the best.

Abstract: The interaction in the Cerium-Arsenic-Iron system at high temperature were studied by means of electron probe microanalysis, optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The results show that the CeAs is the main product when the atomic ratio of Cerium to Arsenic is 1:2, and a light gray phase in bright field might be a ternary compound Ce12Fe57.5As41. The diffusion coefficient of Arsenic in iron was calculated as 1.606×10-13m2/S.

Abstract: The meshing-stiffness of a helical gear pair is one of important parameters to study dynamic characteristics of gear transmission system. However, the equation to solve the meshing stiffness is very complex and difficult to get it. We put up with an improved method to quickly calculate the meshing stiffness through analyzing the meshing process and characteristics of the helical gear pair. The obtained time-variant meshing stiffness curve matches the theoretic stiffness curve very well. The result is shown that the method for calculating contact line based on the helical gear engagement process and characteristics, can be understand intuitively and easily.

Abstract: In this paper, fluorinated water and oil repellent finishing agent was mixed with auxiliary agents and the durability of fabrics treated with the finishing agent was investigated. The water and oil repellent property was discussed and evaluated by contact angle method. The results showed that under the same conditions, adding 0.4% cross-linking agent could make the contact angle of the treated fabric higher than untreated, and the durable-washing property of the fabric was excellent and the durability of fluorinated water and oil repellent finishing agent got improved greatly. The optimum process was that the dosage of water and oil repellent finishing agent was 50g/L, the dosage of cross-linking agent was 4g/L, curing temperature was 160 °C and curing time was 90s.
