Abstract: Scanning tunneling microscope (STM) has several advantages, such as high resolution, and is wildly used. Piezoelectric scanner brings the horizontal resolution of STM up to 0.1 nm, and is it derived by piezoelectric ceramic. Piezoelectric scanner has piezoelectric ceramic’s character. So, piezoelectric scanner output must be calibrated at regular intervals. Graphite atom arrange in a special manner. In the same layer, the distance between adjacent atoms is the same, 0.25nm. This feature can be used to measure length and calibrate small scale scanning. For the 512 × 512 resolution image, the maximum scan range that can distinguish atoms is 30nm2. More large area of atomic image needs to use image stitching technology. By image stitching, small scale scanning, less than 1μm can be calibrated.

Abstract: In this paper, a job shop scheduling model combining MAS (Multi-Agent System) with GASA (Simulated Annealing-Genetic Algorithm) is presented. The proposed model is based on the E2GPGP (extended extended generalized partial global planning) mechanism and utilizes the advantages of static intelligence algorithms with dynamic MAS. A scheduling process from ‘initialized macro-scheduling’ to ‘repeated micro-scheduling’ is designed for large-scale complex problems to enable to implement an effective and widely applicable prototype system for the job shop scheduling problem (JSSP). Under a set of theoretic strategies in the GPGP which is summarized in detail, E2GPGP is also proposed further. The GPGP-cooperation-mechanism is simulated by using simulation software DECAF for the JSSP. The results show that the proposed model based on the E2GPGP-GASA not only improves the effectiveness, but also reduces the resource cost.

Abstract: Agile supply chain management is becoming an important subject in steel business management and technological innovation in China. Through researching on agile supply chain management in Iron and steel enterprises, advices and schemes are proposed which will accelerate the development of Chinese steel industry, enhance its market responsiveness and competitiveness, and help it obtains cost advantage. In this work, we apply Service-Oriented Architecture and Web Service technology into the agile supply chain management system in steel industry, and build agile supply chain information sharing platform which is based on Web Service, so the system will achieve data sharing and operation sharing, so as to achieve applications that is cross-platform, cross-system and high multiplexing distributed.

Abstract: This article addresses the problem of scheduling jobs with random processing times on a machine so as to minimize the expected sum of squared deviations (ESSD) of job completion times from a common due date. We mainly concern the V-shape property of optimal solutions. Through a large and deep stochastic analysis, we obtain the following results and conclusions. A sufficient condition for an optimal sequence to be V-shaped is proposed and proved. The well known equivalence relation between the deterministic unconstrained sum of squared deviations (SSD) problem and the deterministic completion time variance (S-CTV) problem is extended to the situation with the processing times to be independent random variables. In addition, we also show the optimal solution of ESSD problem may not possess V-shape property by a counterexample.

Abstract: The most important quality indexes to evaluate pulp washing performance are residual soda for the washed pulp and the Baume degree for the yielded thick black liquor. However, the two requirements are incompatible. In view of the existing problem of the former control system of the pulp washing process, an adaptive soft-sensor instrument for measuring residual soda and Baume degree is proposed. Voluminous plant operation data collected by DCS and simulated results from a theoretical model are pooled together and used to build the adaptive soft-sensor instrument based on the BP neural network and least square method. Application of the soft-sensor technique in pulp washing control system shows that the control system can run smoothly over a long period in worksites, and has realized the close-loop control of pulp washing quality.

Abstract: As the urbanized construction expansion and the increasing social needs of the fire safety prevention capacities, not only it is necessary that the city fire remote monitoring system is widely spread, but also the function and reliability is emphasized. The article has introduced a common application model of city fire protection remote monitoring system, and has deeply analyzed the structure characteristic of monitoring system from the aspect of intellectual testing system as well as provided dealing methods of system structure to different application situations. Finally, the system performance evaluation of system is discussed, which can provide reference to city fire remote monitoring system.

Abstract: For MHT is an integrated system for different domains, namely fluids, structures, piezoelectrics and circuitry, a component library consisting of inlets, outlets, chambers and piezoelectric blocks is developed with Modelica. The governing equations of inlet and outlet channels, chamber and piezoelectric block are proposed and parameter models are created based on object-oriented method with Modelica. Then the model of MHT is established by connecting different components’ pins of equivalent type. Simulation results on Dymola show accordance with that on Simulink, which indicates that this method can achieve high efficiency and precision.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the dynamic fault information (temperature, pressure, flow, noise, vibration etc.) in the process of operation of the air-conditioning system and establishes the simplified qualitative physical model which takes the surface air cooler as an example, and then writes out the mathematical model according to the simplified model. Finally, the paper gets some conclusions or conjecture suitable for the material object according to the research of the mathematical model.

Abstract: Some displacement and deformation for the mine shaft over past many years’ working may occur, which will cause heavy harm to both shaft itself and workers in well. Curtain grouting is one of efficient methods to protect the shaft and the earth’s surface around the shaft from the harm. The deformation caused by grouting around mine shaft is monitored with a reasonable scheme and the monitoring data are processed with the time-series theory to analyze and forecast the dangerous deformation. The paper analysis different time series of different monitoring points, finds the degree of forecast precision and the nicety ratio of forecast model are best.

Abstract: In this paper, the three-graded random aggregate model of concrete beam is established by using the Monte Carlo method. And in order to close to the engineering practice, the initial imperfection is putted in to this model. Then the impact load is applied to the beam, and the numerical calculation is carried out, the results of numerical simulation and experiments of previous are compared. It is found that the damage process of concrete and calculation results are similar to the experimental results of previous. Thus proof that the model is suitable to the engineering practice.
