Abstract: The soaring rates of dietary-related diseases have increased the need for communicating consumers' health and food resource environment. As a wholesome food, health care products improve the nutrition content of food products and make consumers change their food choices. Therefore, branding is considered an important tool in connecting on the value of health and contributing towards healthier food resource environment. Being faced with Chinese health care products brand development and the problems of creation and new regulatory situation and opportunities for engineering, government departments should establish and improve relevant scientific technology evaluation system , regulatory standards , and innovative mechanisms in the premise of food safety insurance through health education and other means , to strengthen market supervision and guidance of the masses, and to promote the health care products development and improve the food resource environment.

Abstract: Shantou Bay in China is a good example of a site where human pressures and ecological values collide with each other. Twenty eight sediment samples collected from the bay were analyzed for grain size and geochemistry to reveal geochemical sources of selected metals and geochemical processes influencing their distribution, and to assess their enrichment and pollution in the sediments. Results showed that heavy metal concentrations in surface sediments varied from 0.7 mg/kg for Cd to 604.3 mg/kg for Mn. Four geochemical sources were identified as river input, runoff from city, sewage discharge and port pollution by the correlation analysis and principal component analysis. Hydrodynamic condition and input sources are major factors controlling the regional distribution of metals, reflected by a seaward decreasing pattern with some hotspots at the vicinity of river mouths and sewage outlets. Enrichment Factors reveal the anthropogenic sources for Cd, Cu, Zn and Pb. It is supported by the Geo-accumulation Index. The majority of the sediment samples can be occasionally and frequently associated to toxic biological effects, according to the effect-range classification for Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn.

Abstract: Based on the fuzzy uncertainty of assessment system, the fuzzy mathematics theory was applied to denote the groundwater health risk. On the basis of defining the parameters as triangular fuzzy numbers, uncertain models with triangular fuzzy parameters were established. As a case study, the fuzzy model was applied to evaluate the health risk of arsenic in groundwater in Tongyu County, Jilin Province. According to these calculations, interval values of health risk of arsenic under different confidence levels were obtained. The calculated results indicated that interval values of health risk of arsenic in phreatic water, confined water in Quaternary and Tertiary were equal to 2.43×10-5~105.74×10-5a-1, 3.45×10-5~98.444×10-5a-1 and 2.01×10-5~117.41×10-5a-1, and the most probable values were 23.72×10-5a-1, 63.53×10-5a-1 and 34.39×10-5a-1respectively. The assessment results showed groundwater in study area had great health risks and the fuzzy models more scientifically reveal the health risks state of hazardous substances in groundwater than the traditional ones.

Abstract: This paper presents a human health risk assessment approach based on fuzzy transport simulation (HHRA-FTS) to create the response relationships between contaminants transport and human health. Compared to the conventional methods, HHRA-FTS employs the fuzzy transport simulation to model the concentration and fate of contaminants, and takes into account different exposure pathways of pollutions in risk assessment. It has the advantage of avoiding miscalculation of results in terms of giving an interval values for the concentration of contamination by the fuzzy simulation. The HHRA-FTS approach is applied to a real-world PH-contaminated groundwater system in Pinggu County, located in northwest of Beijing, China, for demonstration studies.

Abstract: In this paper, safety production environment mechanism is analyzed, and An evaluation model for safety investment benefits is presented. From the viewpoint of proion system situations and capital flow transition between safety investment and accident loss in enterprises, the relationship of production investment, production output and safety investment benefits are deduced. By comparing production systems with and without safety investment, the variation rules and their model between safety investment benefits and accident loss in extreme and actual situations are analyzed. Finally, the expressions of safety investment benefits are derived for general actual cases. The proposed evaluation model can provide an important and scientific basis to evaluate safety investment benefits and be employed in a number of ways to improve it for enterprises and safety administrator.

Abstract: The safety of urban human settlements has ever aroused extensive attention of the whole world. And the safety of urban human settlements and the evaluation are scarcely studied. The safety evaluation index system of urban human settlements was put forward, the safety evaluation model based on the catastrophe theory and GIS technology was built up. And the model was applied in the case study of cities in Sichuan Province. According to the above index and catastrophe progression method, the scoring and ranking of every 17 indicators of the safety evaluation in 18 prefecture-level cities in Sichuan Province were calculated. Finally, the grading map of the safety evaluation of Human Settlements in Sichuan Province was obtained. The results showed that the evaluation result is basically accordant with people's perceptions. According to concrete conditions of different cities, it should make corresponding measures and analyze deeply to get the scientific and feasible scheme.

Abstract: In this paper, the assimilable organic carbon (AOC) and the total number of colonies were deterimined for studying the effect of Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection of drinking water at Dianliu Pressure Station, Jinan City. The result showed that the total number of colonies on average decreased 28.7% campared with the initial values. However, the value of AOC increased 47.6%, 83.8 % and 181.9 % after UV disinfection power strengthened. Therefore, the application of UV disinfection of drinking water still need further study to evaluate the disinfection effect.

Abstract: The exciting facilities attracted lots of riders. This combination of different directions and forces cause different excitement. Vertical drop was most popular facility which drove the rider from highest place to the lowest place within a very short period of time. Dramatical changes in direction and force will affect the cardiovascular system. However, different life styles may have different effects when they ride in this facility. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of different life styles on heart rate changes in different stages when the subjects rode in the vertical drop facility. Forty five subjects were recruited to take part in this study, and were divided into 3 groups: the elite athletes group, the regular exercisers group, and the sedentary group. All subjects put on k4b2, and took a rest for 30 minutes, and then rode in the vertical drop facility to the highest place, and remained still for 10 seconds (the initial stage), and then fell down to the ground within 3 seconds. Finally, the subjects were horizontally sent to the exit, and stayed at their seat, resting for 5 minutes. Heart rates were acquired from k4b2 in initial stage, during the riding for the maximal heart rate, and 5 minutes after riding. One-way ANOVA followed by the Scheffe’s multiple comparisons procedure was employed to compare the 3 groups. Significant level was set at .05. The conclusions of this study are that regular exercisers and elite athletes posses better autonomous nerve system to control their heart function when they confront tremendous pressure; Five times of gravity changed in 3 seconds may be too great for people to react to, and the regular exercisers group and the elite athletes group had better cardiovascular function than the sedentary group in recover rest heart rate.

Abstract: People always experience different humidity and temperature in very short span of time. Therefore, people can adapt themselves to the changes of environment by their physiological changes. Many studies had showed that relative humidity (RH) affects thermal regulatory process. However, there is no related research showing the effects of different humidity with low temperature on skin physiology. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of different RH with low temperature on skin physiology. Twenty subjects were selected for this study. All subjects stayed a chamber in 60% RH ands 24°C for 30minutes, and then moved to a chamber of 60% RH and 10°C on the first day. The second day, the combination of the chamber changed to 90% RH and 10°C. Skin temperature and skin water content were tested very minutes from the beginning to the 20th minute. The conclusions indicated that lower RH would induce lower skin temperature. Gender was not a factor to influence the skin temperature on different RH. Skin water content may not easily changed in a short span of time.

Abstract: The development of nuclear power has become an important way to solve the problems of environment and energy in many countries, also it is an important policy to solve the problems of e energy structure in China. But moral hazard in the safety supervision of nuclear power has happened. By adopting the game analysis method and establishing the game model of moral hazard in the safety supervision of nuclear power, the paper analysis the model with static mixed game and finite iterations of dynamic game. As a result, it can lower the moral hazard if the governments strengthen the punishment in violation of safety rules and reduce the supervision cost.
