Abstract: On the basis of analyzing the present condition of manufacturing process planning in various factories, we formulate the calling strategy of the interactive round-hole broach CAPP system based on Solidworks to realize the system function, general structure and operation mode of the system. The method can reduce the duplication of labor during the process design while improve the design efficiency and the accuracy of process data.

Abstract: The output prediction of blast furnace gas (BFG), influenced by many complex production factors, is a very important and difficult problem concerning the byproduct gas balance in steel industry. A new online least squares support vector machine (LSSVM) prediction model is proposed in this paper, in which the training data is filtered by an improved empirical mode decomposition threshold filtering (IEMDTF). The model is solved and optimized by an online learning algorithm and an online bayesian parameters optimization, respectively. The experimental results using practical BFG output data from BaoSteel Co. Ltd., China show the proposed model is effective and enable to offer reasonable gas balance scheduling for operators.

Abstract: In order to direct the equipment acquisition information construction, a model framework was proposed based on the reference architecture——Open System Architecture for Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM—OSA), according to the business characteristics of equipment acquisition. The framework could be used to describe five different views of equipment acquisition system: function, resources, organization, information and workflow. And then the modeling process was depicted. The studies proposed in this paper will provide a foundation for the future investigation in equipment acquisition information.

Abstract: A study on deformation of multipoint flexible clamped thin-wall components during numerical control drilling in vertical direction downward is presented. The finite element model of multipoint flexible clamped thin-wall component during machining is established with program ANSYS, and a static analysis of deformation of the model is conducted. The laws of maximum deformation under different skin thickness, under different cutting force and on the 3 special machining paths in the cut area are obtained. The results show that the maximum deformation is linear with cutting force and exponential with skin thickness, and the function curves of the maximum deformation on the 3 special machining paths are all different, the function curve 2 is the composite superposition of the function curve 1 and the function curve 3.

Abstract: To strengthen the application efficiency of 3D machining procedure model and the contact of process design stage and process implementation stage, and to reduce complicated issues of process change, machining process design and change based on the manufacturing resource information in MBD mode is proposed. Integration framework of manufacturing resources field and 3D machining process design and change are analyzed, manufacturing resource feature model of 3D machining process model is described, monitoring the manufacturing resource and collecting static and dynamic data of manufacturing resources through RFID is put forward, change of 3D machining procedure model caused by manufacturing resource conflicts are discussed, a closed-loop system structure of packaging manufacturing resource information and machining process change is established.

Abstract: In order to improve the traditional single-chip microcomputer practice teaching, this paper presents a simulation experiment of the stepper motor control using both of assembly code and C language at Proteus and Keil C51 platform. With the advantages and facility of Proteus, students can reduce the time and costs of development. The teaching practice shows that application of Proteus in experiment teaching is good for improving the efficiency of experimental teaching and the effectiveness of teaching, increasing students’ abilities and awareness of innovation.

Abstract: Torpedo shell Modeling is a very important part in the design process. However, the traditional method of torpedo shell modeling is only the GUI of CAD drawing software. If there is change in individual parameters, designers have to start again from scratch. Such method will waste of resources. This paper set up the torpedo shell parametric design process with secondary development language UG / Open API, and user-oriented menu creation tool UG / Open UIStyler of UG,which is a three-dimensional modeling software, So that designers can be directly obtained three-dimensional model of the torpedo shell needing to enter the necessary design parameters. Meanwhile the designers can save design resources, and it helps optimize the latter part of the torpedo shell design.

Abstract: This paper presents an algorithm for the offsetting of NURBS curve/surface. First the unit normal vectors of the progenitor NURBS curve/surface is computed precisely, then the offset curve/surface can be obtained by offsetting the progenitor curve/surface in the normal vector direction with the required distance. Considerable extra computational time can be saved, especially when they are to be offset by several times. As the method successfully computes the unit normal vector of the progenitors, the offset error of this method is zero. The method can also be generalized to other degree NURBS curve/surface.

Abstract: The digital measurement of free-form surface is the key to machining quality inspection for surface parts, and the basic requirement of digital measurement is how to realize the adaptive distribution of sampling points with the curvature feature. The traditional sampling methods were limited to the surface known mathematical model. This paper was concerned with free-form surface sampling with CAD model. Firstly, an algorithm of extracting data points from free-form surface was proposed, which transformed the free-from surface into intersection lines. Secondly, the B-spline interpolation was utilized to acquire the parameter expression of each line. Then the curvature measure function was defined on the basis of the curvature and the spline mass was determined taking the curvature measure as density. A new sampling method was presented based on dividing the spline mass equally. On this basis, the sampling process for surface was formulated, which realized the adaptive distribution for surface based on CAD model. The computer simulations show that the suggested method can approximate the curves and surfaces with higher precision comparing against other sampling methods.

Abstract: In this paper, a new method to construct the compactly supported M- wavelet under a mild condition are given. The constructed wavelet satisfies the vanishing moment condition which is originated from the symbols of the scaling function.
