Abstract: Many Bayesian learning approaches to multi-layer perceptrons (MLPs) parameters optimization have been proposed such as the extended Kalman filter (EKF). In this paper, a sequential approach is applied to train the MLPs. Based on the particle filter, the approach named unscented Kalman particle filter (UPF) uses the unscented Kalman filter as proposal distribution to generate the importance sampling density. The UPF are devised to deal with the high dimensional parameter space that is inherent to neural network models. Simulation results show that the new algorithm performs better than traditional optimization methods such as the extended Kalman filter.

Abstract: This article made an in-depth analysis of the present navigation situation of large vessels and high-risk vessels around Cheng Shanjiao waterway in 2010 through “gate line” method, the traffic flow characteristic of large vessels and high-risk vessel were found; an amendment to the existing Traffic Separation Scheme was thence put forward; in addition, some suggestions were made to amend the existing ship reporting system of Cheng Shanjiao, aiming to reduce the navigation risk of large vessels, especially for the large crude oil vessels and other vessels with high-risk in the east of existing Cheng Shanjiao TSS.

Abstract: Theoretical models of hydraulic pump-motor and electro-hydraulic servo control systems of hydraulic pumps were established and the system transfer function was derived In view of bad dynamic property, small damp, long transient time, low precision, nonlinearity and etc existing in the speed control system of Hydraulic Pump-Motor, a controller based on PID Neural Network was designed. The simulation results showed that the PID Neural Network controller has better dynamic property, load disturbance adaptability , robustness and cranking ability than traditional PID controller.

Abstract: An ultra high frequency (UHF) sensor antenna with metallic shell for PD detection has been proposed and experimentally studied in this article. The impedance bandwidth of the proposed phantom is considerably improved when the metallic shell is filled with radiation absorbing material, which is based on the simulation results by Ansoft HFSS. When the height of the RAM reaches 3 cm, the proposed antenna obtains a bandwidth from 800 MHz to over 1.7 GHz with VSWR<2.7, within which can effectively detect the PD signals.

Abstract: A new technique for reducing the offset of latch-type sense amplifier has been proposed and effect of enable signal voltage upon latch-type sense amplifier offset in SRAM has been investigated in this paper. Circuit simulation results on both StrongARM and Double-tail topologies show that the standard deviation of offset can be reduced by 31.23% (StrongARM SA) and 25.2% (Double-tail SA) , respectively, when the voltage of enable signal reaches 0.6V in TSMC 65nm CMOS technology. For a column of bit-cell (1024 bit-cell), the total speed is improved by 14.98% (StrongARAM SA) and 22.26% (Double-tail SA) at the optimal operation point separately, and the total energy dissipation is reduced by 30.45% and 29.47% with this scheme.

Abstract: According to the possible problems of mine hoist in use, this paper puts forward a set of safety monitoring system. Due to the mechanical failure is the main failure types of mine hoist, the safety monitoring system proposed is mainly aimed at the mechanical failure. Through the monitoring of brake oil pressure, spring pressure, brake shoe displacement and other related parameters, mine hoist can be operated safely and stably. PIC microcontroller chip is adopted in this monitoring system to monitor spot data, and VB is used for programming software of upper machine, to analyze, and memorize data.

Abstract: Following a person is an important task for domestic service robots in applications in which human-robot interaction is a primary requirement. Two steps will be completed if the robot needs to achieves this task. It includes detecting the target person and following it. Thus, the robot needs applicable algorithm and specific sensor. In this paper features detection and following technology based on SURF (Speed Up Robust Features) algorithm is used for person following in domestic environments. The vision system of robot obtains very good features of the target person through the RGB camera of kinect (Kinect sensor device) using SURF algorithm. And the depth camera of kinect helps the robot obtain the accurate information about the position of the target person in the environment. It uses SURF algorithm to extract the features of the target person, and match them in following frames. The proposed method is programmed in high speed hardware system and using small zone person following method in order to meet the real time requirement. Experimental results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Abstract: In order to solve the high false triggering rate problem of vehicle airbag, a new airbag ignition algorithm based on power rate method was developed. In this paper, vehicle crash test data at different speeds was used and three parameters of acceleration Jerk and velocity were selected to determine the crash density. Finally, low-speed impact test, high-speed impact test and 40% offset impact test was conducted to validate the algorithm. The results demonstrated that the algorithm was of better sensibility and robustness.

Abstract: Based on some relevant theories of robotics such as trajectory planning, the forward and inverse kinematics solutions and DH convention, this paper proposes a new approach towards testing the physical prototype. The approach sets up a 3-D model for a 6-DOF welding robot , works out the simulation results of expected processing trajectory planning for six rods in MATLAB, verifies the trajectory simulation results with the built-in Robot Toolbox of MATLAB, And controls the robot to draw a circle with the ACR9000 motion controller.

Abstract: Nowadays, the precise measurement of the time interval between two events with very fine timing resolution is common challenge in the test and measurement instrumentation. This paper present a new high resolution vernier ring oscillator(VRO), which can measures the clock jitter as the operation temperature rises. The goal of this work focuses on the design of a TDC of temperature stable oscillator and we propose an ultra-low temperature drift of a differential delay cell oscillator based on a proportional to absolute temperature(PTAT) compensation methodology. It is very desirable to have a single integrated circuit producing a stable high resolution timing circuit over a wide temperature range developed in a standard CMOS process. By the simple concept of vernier delay line and two ring oscillators, the proposed can achieve a fine time resolution with wide working temperature. For each channel of ring oscillator, the relative delay time is fine tuned by an external VBIAS input. From 25°Cto 45°C, the maximum error percent of delay time without compensation circuits is more than 2.9%, but it with compensation circuits is less than 0.3%. The different operating temperature will affect entire circuit and the delay time of ring oscillator. A compensation circuit to reduce the variety of ring oscillator is also added. The new architecture of high resolution TDC with temperature compensated circuit is proven to be applicable in high precision clock applications which is analyzed and implemented in a CMOS 0.18μm 1P6M process.
