Abstract: In this work, technological process of the refinement of phenetole by continuous distillation method is introduced and, the effects of reflux ratio, operating pressure and location of feed tray on the distillation process are analyzed. The optimal operating conditions for refining phenetole in laboratory are: operating pressure is 50Kpa, feed tray location is the 35th theoretical plate, total reflux and product outlet location is the 5th plate. The phenetole of high-purity could be obtained with both water and phenol content under 100ppm.

Abstract: Under microwave irradiation, the ternary CuMgAl-HTLcs precursors were synthesized and MoO42- was loaded on the surface of these HTLcs. The results of XRD, FT-IR and SEM analysis indicated that the Mo anion was successfully loaded on the surface of the CuMgAl-HTLcs precursors. The activity of CuMgAl-31 for phenol hydroxylation was the highest, the conversion of phenol was 42.88% and ratio of catechol to hydroquinone was 2:1. CuMgAl-Mo-HTLcs advantageously increased the selectivity of hydroquinone with the ratio of hydroquinone to catechol reaching to 6:1 and about 4% conversion decreasing. Proposed the reaction mechanism of phenol hydroxylation by MoO42- supported HTLcs.

Abstract: As world cultural heritage, Thousand Hand Buddhism in Dazu County of Chongqing City has been eroded Seriously after exposure to Wet atmospheric environment for about 800 years. In order to protect it, the reason of erosion should be found first. So the stones of Thousand Hand Buddhism have been analyzed using both on-site techniques(3D video microscopy, portable IR and so on) and laboratory techniques(SEM,AES and Ion chromatography etc.), and the limitations of all the above techniques are discussed. The on site results show that the stones are sandstones which contain montmorillonite, and the surface morphology of stones has changed significantly. The laboratory results show that many acidic inorganic anions can be found. and the content of SO42-is highest among all the inorganic anions, which indicates that the SO2 in the wet air should attend the reaction of the erosion. All the results show that air pollution in the Wet atmospheric environment should be the main reason of the erosion, and that on site techniques have the characteristic of nondestructive, while laboratory techniques can do more Quantitative analysis, only when they are combined can the stone relics be analyzed scientificly. This template explains and demonstrates how to prepare your camera-ready paper for Trans Tech Publications. The best is to read these instructions and follow the outline of this text.

Abstract: The nanosized RuB amorphous alloys with three different ruthenium contents supported on Al2O3 were prepared by means of impregnation, following the chemical reduction with KBH4 solution. The gas-phase benzene hydrogenation was used as a probe reaction to evaluate the catalytic activity of the prepared catalysts. The catalysts were characterized by BET, inductively coupled plasma (ICP), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and transmission electron micrograph (TEM). The experiment results show that the catalytic activity of the three amorphous alloy catalysts goes up first with the increasing of temperature and has a maximum at 443K; when the Ru loading amount is 0.24 %(wt.%) of the catalyst, which is very few, the conversion of benzene on RuB/Al2O3 amorphous alloy catalyst can reach to 99.50% at 443K.

Abstract: The resin flow behavior in vacuum assisted resin infusion molding process (VARI) of foam sandwich materials was studied through visualization flow experiments. The experimental results show: Gravity of resin makes the mold filling time increase when θ changes from 0° to 90°, and mold filling time lengthens with the increase of θ; gravity shortens the filling time when θ changes from 0° to -90°, and mold filling time decreases with the increase of the absolute value of θ.

Abstract: TiO2 photocatalyst and copper-doped titania (Cu/TiO2) photocatalyst were prepared and both photocatalysts were used in the self-cleaning finishing of wall fabrics. XRD showed that the nanometer materials and textile wall fabrics were a good combination. By comparing the self-cleaning effects of two kinds of photocatalysts, the results demonstrate that textile wall fabrics finished with Cu2+-doped TiO2 photocatalyst have better self-cleaning effect under visible light.

Abstract: The relaxation behaviors of PS below Tg and its variation trend along with aging time were studied by DSC, fluorescence spectrum and XRD. On the basis of DSC results, the kinetics of the volume and enthalpy relaxation process were analyzed, and the influence of the aging time on the relaxation behaviors were discussed. The results of fluorescence spectrum and XRD indicated the presence of the rearrangement of polymer chains in the physical aging of polystyrene.

Abstract: As to demonstrate the effect of treatment temperature on hemp fibre, this article recorded and compared the change of supramolecular structure and properties of hemp fibre under different processing temperature (150°C and -30°C). The result shows: the change of processing temperature can affect the crystallinity of hemp fibre, with the rise of treatment time, the crystallinity of fiber increases at high temperature and is contrary at low temperature. Meantime, the degree of thermodynamic change is higher at low processing temperature than that of high temperature. Furthermore, with the rise of treatment time, the moisture regain of fibre fluctuates under high temperature and rises under low temperature.

Abstract: The Avrami equation was used in the study of the isothermal crystallization kinetics of Polyvinyl pyrrolidone/Polyamide 6 Blends. The addition of PVP can hinder the PA6 crystallization process, increase the crystallization half-time and make the crystallization rate decrease. The molecular entanglements and intermolecular hydrogen bonds between PA6 and PVP chains exert some influence also.
