Abstract: Machining process parameters directly affect the machining quality and efficiency of heavy-duty CNC machine tools, selecting correctly machining process parameters can improve the machine’s machining performance effectively. This paper presents a machining process parameters optimization method based on grid optimization algorithm for heavy-duty CNC machine tools. In this method, a multi-objective optimization model will be established, which considers not only the linear constrains of machining process parameters, such as machining time and machining cost, but also the non-linear constrain, such as chatter in machining process. Grid optimization algorithm will be adapted to search the optimal combination of machining process parameters from the multi-objective optimization model. In the end, this paper will present an example to verify superiority of the multi-objective optimization method by comparing with single-objective optimization method.

Abstract: Artificial neural networks and support vector machine (SVM), as two important tools, have widely applied in artificial intelligence and pattern recognition. In this paper, a comparative study has been done for making an analysis on their performances, when they are used in pattern recognition. Through theoretical analysis and confirmed by experimental results, a conclusion can be drawn that support vector machines have obvious advantages over those of traditional neural networks.

Abstract: From the point of view of the objective and scientific design of spot-welded structures, each factor that influences the fatigue strength of the spot-welded structure is quantitatively analyzed using fuzzy mathematics. The weighing coefficient is calculated based on the contribution of each factor and their coupling relationship using DARE method. All the influencing factors are divided to two levels, and quantitative assessment result is obtained. Finally, the fatigue life curve of the spot-welded structure is predicted with the utilization of the fatigue life curve of a standard specimen made of the same material.

Abstract: The similarity metric is a key on image registration. This paper divides similarity metric algorithms into two classes: similarity metrics based on pixels (or voxels) and similarity metrics based on image features. For those images that acquired contours easily, this paper proposes a new fast similarity metric arithmetic based on scan line. This algorithm is insensitive to illumination change and is robust without considering gray level of pixels (or voxels). In addition, this arithmetic does not consider all pixels (or voxels) in image, but consider pixels (or voxels) in the range of contour. So it is very simple and fast. It is not only suitable for 2D images but also suitable for higher dimension images. In experiment we use Laplacian pyramid to decompose image and use snake model to detect image contour. Lastly we give a novel registration result.

Abstract: From the maneuvering target orbit on the geometrical properties, according to different motion modes track corresponding to different order number polynomial curve, using the least squares fitting structure, this paper gives out a group of various motion modes matching the mathematical model—polynomial model set (PMS), and gives distinct mathematical process. PMS covers all the motion modes theoretically, easy to choose according to the practical situation and expand, especially suitable for single model can not accurately describe the complex sports scene. The model need not consider sampling interval, without lowering the filter performance at the same time, reduced prior knowledge dependence. Finally, simulation results indicate that the correctness and validity and practicality.

Abstract: A parametric system for perforating parts is designed based on the secondary development of AutoCAD 2008. And the processing of the system is discussed in detail. The system is composed of database module, input module, parametric module and output module. If the user inputs appropriate parameters, this system can plot the exact drawing of YD-102 or YD-89 perforating parts in AutoCAD 2008.

Abstract: Asymmetrical traffic service requirements between uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) will cause serious inter-cell interference in TDD/CDMA system. In this paper, an efficient power control algorithm with dynamic channel allocation (PC/DCA) is investigated, which is based on the average power control algorithms. In the uplink and downlink, PC/DCA scheme is addressed with channel reservation to resolve the interference between base-stations. Simulation results show that the performance of the PC/DCA scheme is improved 20% than that of the traditional DCA schemes for asymmetrical traffic service.

Abstract: This paper studies state feedback control for fractional differential systems with Riemann-Lιiouville derivative, which matrix A not satisfying the condition ιarg(λ(A))ι>α/2 . Based on the state feedback controllers’ designer, and Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) apαproach, sufficient conditions for the systems with fraction order α (0<α<1) and α (1≤α<2) obtained respectively.

Abstract: It is a new studied field that the monitoring and measuring system in blast furnace based on wireless network. A new technology about cooling water’s temperature monitoring based on wireless network in blast furnace is introduced, which contains technical composition and characteristics even the realization process. It is also shown that the practical process and results of the system is applied in the blast furnace of baotou iron and steel group.

Abstract: In this paper, we present a standard genetic algorithm (SGA) based video abstraction framework, which can adaptively sample video frames in non-uniform way. We formulate the video abstraction as an optimization problem and apply a SGA in the feature space for video abstraction. The video abstraction is accomplished by applying genetic algorithm to search key frames from similar visual content source so that only a small but meaningful amount of information is retained. Experimental results and comparisons are presented to show good performance of our scheme on video static summarization and video skimming.
