Abstract: This article take the folk dwelling in QiaoZhuang Village of Mengjin County as a carrier, from two aspects that is the ecology and the shape summarized the compatibility of the kiln--courtyard residence in the west of Henan Province. The natural energy is made full use of in the village location, and according to the local conditions, conservation of the land. The appropriate materials and techniques are adopted and courtyard form is adopted. These have reference for contemporary residential design.

Abstract: Assessment of the structure durability of concrete bridge in service is crucial for determining whether their service performance is meeting the design requirements or not. In this paper we classify the whole structure of bridge into two levels, i.e.bridge structure and bridge components. A two-level-multi-index model for evaluating the durability of concrete bridges in service is established based on the dependent functions of various factors, in which the dependent functions are chosen in accordance with the difference of various factors affecting the deterioration of durability of components. In this model, the durability of the bridge is divided into five different fuzzy levels: intact, disrepaired, damaged, severely damaged, and dangerous. Finally, based on fuzzy mathematics theory, the durability level of a bridge in practice is evaluated by using the maximum subordination principle.

Abstract: The main objective of this paper is aim to take fatigue reliability updating evaluation of hydraulic steel gate based on the Bayes theorem. The fatigue cracks can be detected for existing structures, and fatigue reliability assessment can be updated by the nondestructive inspection. In this paper, based on the probabilistic characteristics for NDI techniques and the Bayes theorem, a fatigue reliability updating assessment model for existing steel gate components is proposed. The results showed that the fatigue reliability will increase with no cracks detected, decrease with unknown cracks detected, and change remarkably with cracks detected.

Abstract: Hot-dip coating can improve the longevity of the bolt connection pairs, but may be influence the pairs on the torque coefficient and tensile load. The torque coefficient and tensile loads of three specifications, two strength degrees and two surface states with and without hot-dip coating bolt connection pairs were tested. The results showed both the mean and standard deviation of torque coefficient of the bolt connection pairs were enhanced in case of the hot-dip zinc process, deals with the lubricant MoS2 they were both decreased and closed to the standard values. By contrast, the tensile loads were unaffected by the hot-dip process.

Abstract: Both hot-dip coating and zinc-rich coating can improve the longevity of the steels, but the coarseness of the steels covered the different coating will be different. The steels with the two coatings, a sort of hot-dip high-strength bolts connection were used to study the against slip coefficient between frictions. The results show that a higher against slip coefficient between frictions of high-strength bolts connection with zinc-rich coating was obtained. When MoS2was used on the hot-dip high-strength bolts, the standard deviation of the torque coefficient of the bolt connection pairs was decreased and a highest against slip coefficient between frictions was obtained.

Abstract: China is a civilized archaic nation, as a part of Chinese culture, ancient pagoda holds an important status in the developing history of nation architecture. With the rapid developing of the nation, we have the ability to identify and strengthen the ancient pagoda. This article has introduce the survey and progress of rectification projects about the ancient pagoda at first, carried on the narration about each kind of rectification plans, proposed the rectification idea of grout injection-horizontal digging method and concrete measures of the plan.

Abstract: The author adopted an in-situ test method of artificial arthquake survey to evaluate reinforcement effects of fissure grouting for earth cliff of Jiaohe ancient city in China. Based on field testing results of three fissures with different characteristics, we compared previous earth cliffs with reinforcement ones by means of grouting. Analysis results show that it is feasible to reinforce cliff by means of the composite method reported by authors, which jointly applies the grouting of Polystyrene (PS) material and the anchoring technology for fissure earth-cliffs of Jiaohe ancient city. Meanwhile, the composite method of reinforcement could obviously improve the integral strength of potentially dangerous cliffs. This means PS material should be a safety media to apply into the reinforcement and the author’s method could be helpful to protect the ruins of Jiaohe ancient city.

Abstract: Chloride ion penetration and freezing and thawing damage are the two main factors that affect the durability of concrete structures. Through the chloride ion penetration test and freezing and thawing test of concrete specimens after tensile and compressive loading, the influence of load-induced damage on the long-term durability of concrete was studied. The results showed that the apparent chloride diffusion coefficient of concrete increased by 6.4% and 34%, and the surface chloride concentration increased 10% and 40%, respectively, both of which showed the "negative effect" when the uniaxial tensile load level reached the 65% and 75% of the ultimate capacity. However, with the increasing uniaxial compressive load level, the impact on the frost resistance of concrete experienced a transformation from the "positive effect" to the "negative effect".
