Researches on the Size Measurement of Mechanical Parts Based on Image Processing

Article Preview

Abstract:

In order to improve the precision and efficiency of the size measurement of mechanical parts, in this paper the size measurement of mechanical parts based on image processing system is designed , and the digital image processing is applied, meanwhile, geometric characteristics of the mechanical parts are extracted by this system ,then the geometric parameter can be measured. From the results we can see that this new technique guarantees the accurate measurement of linear parts and porous parts.
